Nali jumped up and avoided the wave as Neji said "8 trigrams, palm rotation!" he spun around in circles quite rapidly, with a blue chakura shield around him, deflecting the wave from him and Taya. Nali came down near Akiyama and said "you can't kill Naomi!" she then made her own chakura wave and sent it at him.

Shikamaru looked at what was happening, thinking that he couldnt really do much with all of those chackra waves flying around. he sighed and used a Shadow Sewing jutsu, which caused shadows to fly at Akiyama and try to pierce him, so as to keep his distance but be able to help.

Nali smirked and said "i was in the cell with Naomi, when you were nearly kill by a kunai that missed by a centimeter, and i said that next time, i wouldn't miss. my name is Nali, and that is all you need to know about me" she then did another chakura wave and was still sending them at Akiyama. Neji simply stood away from Akiyama, but was ready too attack him if he tried to hurt anyone else.
Taya was still standing away from everyone and started to fell useless. she sighed and just waited for someone to need her help

"i am all sorts of clans" Nali said "because of my clan and my death call jutsu. i won't show you though, unless i have to. and i can only use these chakra waves for a few more hours today, probably about three more because i summoned an Izuhara when i fought the old hag"

"no" Nali said as she jumped out of the way "i am not. my clan was one that worked with the dead. my kekkai genkai is called the death call because it summons a spirit back to life, and it can use its kekkai genkai. but the death call also has an unfortunate side effect. if i am unable to get rid of the spirit i brought back, it will roam the earth again. get it now, stupid?"

the wave was just a decoy, Akiyama attacked from behind with the Lava Blade, slashing at nali's lower back

the second the blade made contact, Nali poofed into a burning log. "what? you don't think i became a special jonin by letting myself get caught in that kind of mess, do ya?" she said from over head "i swear you are stupider than last time i saw you!" Nali-sensei! that was really smart! i didn't even see you use the substitution jutsu! Taya thought as she watched

Nali was waiting for him to take his attention off her and she quickly performed the hand seals for the fireball jutsu. "fire style: fire ball jutsu!" she said as she blew the fire at Akiyama
