Mikallen thunderbolts_and_sunshine I would like to think a gym leader's Pokemon would be smarter than that.
Even the smartest of man and beast can be thrown for a loop sometime.
I believe momentum is more powerful than any mental powers. I mean, once you get going with a speeding rock it's hard to stop.
I'd say Jun would be the perfect teammate for any coordinator. How could he let them go out on stage, not looking their best?

Claire happens to be a trainer. Although I'm sure she'd dabble in both after a few badges.
