The girl bit her lip, then hugged Kato tightly, burrying her face in to his shirt. She started to cry lightly, gripping his shirt.
"I missed you, for five years I missed you Kato.. " She was cold to the touch, she had been out in the snow for quite a while. She snuggled close to him, breathing in his smell. "I think I can let go now.. atleast.. stop crying myself to sleep."

The girl looked up at him, then let go, hugging herself. Her heart broke, but her face stayed calm.
"O-Oh... I-I get it.. t-thanks for letting me.. wa-warm up a bit.." She looked away then opened the door so she could walk back out. Since that week he never showed up her life had been a living hell. She got back and her mother died, then her brother killed himself in front of her. She got raped, robbed, beaten.. then framed and thrown in a jail cell for two years, forced to be a slave for a few months, and tortured in till her "boyfriend" had found her and let her live with him for a year. Then magically dumped her in to a forest to die.

Hayu was watching, but she trusted Kato. Now if he kissed her or something, or started sneaking out the next few days, she'd get mad.

(Gonna call her Rae)
Rae looked back at Kato, smiling sadly.
"No, but I've already suffered enough, this little bit isn't going to hurt... I'll find a home, I always seem to." She slipped her arm away and walked out, wondering just where the hell she was going to stay... Maybe she could build a shelter for tonight. She was really good at that.

Rae looked at Kato, then back at the ground, her breaths comming out as white puffs. She stopped and turned to him again, hugging herself for warmth.
"Listen Kato, you have a life. You have someone that needs you, a person who never ever liked me to even start with. I remember meeting her once Kato, your wife. You were gonna leave her for me all those years ago. But now you've made up your mind and you've gotten everything settled down. I love you but I know this isn't my place anymore. If I die, maybe I'll come back in another life where things might actually work out for me. I've been through so much, death'll be a releif for me."

Rae melted in his arms like she always used to. She kissed him back, wrapping her arms around him. She loved him with all her heart and it had broken her when he hadn't shown up.

Hayu was hiding in the shadows, ever since Kato sealed her in that cat she had a cat form. She padded off back home, her tails dragging the ground. She still wasn't enough. She entered the house and curled up under the couch, wrapping her tail around her tightly and closing her eyes, her ears flat back.

Rae nodded.
"O-Okay.." She rubbed her eyes, biting her lip. "I-I don't have any money though.. c-can you lend me so-some? I-I'll pay you back later.." Her lips were starting to turn blue. She wanted to stay with Kato, but she knew he was just doing this to get her not to kill herself. But that's was okay for now.. she'd eventually do it, just not at the moment.

Rae smiled a bit.
"Thank you Kato, you really are the best. Will you come and see me? I'm really tired so I don't think I'm gonna be able to come down here for a few days.." She rubbed her arms sluggishly, she really missed him. It caused her to hug him again, and she didn't want to let go.
