Onyx eyes rested on the group downstairs. Her spot was great, watching all this happen is wonderful. Then it descusted her. Frowning at the fading feeling of happiness the warmth from the thought turned cold almost instently. Not a word was spoken from her, eyes narrowed as she lent agaist the wall at the top of the steps. The lights would go out soon and her want to leave un-noticed might be easier then she thought with all these people preoccupied with one another. Arms cross over her chest, River continued her wait for everthing to Die down once more.

Cerri actually squawked at that, surprised. "I'm fine, missy!" she scolded Ukaia, cheeks crimson. "You are going to injure yourself! You sit down this instant and rest!" Still, she made no move to stand again, instead settling comfortable in a seated position, blanket tucked around herself. "Thank you." she told the neko quietly. Then she looked to Guan, becoming a more serious. "She would have died if I hadn't. Couldn't let that happen."
"Go to sleep love." Lily commanded softly, stroking his cheek as she lay down again, cuddling him close. "I'll... I'll see you in the morning. I love you so much." she added, gently kissing his brow.

"I love you too," Arlen said softly, resting gently against Lily and drifting off.
"I know what that's like," Guan replied. "Still, you're all far too young to deal with this sort of stuff."

Uakai smirked a bit then yawned slighlty and looked upstairs. She'd go sleep with her husband and her son. She tucked Cerri in and smiled a bit at her
"So do you need anything Mom?" she asked softly as she made sure she was nice and tucked in and comfortable

'sleep? they must be tired to go to sleep now..the night was so young,' a dull look crossed her face as she watched still, waiting wishing this moment would pass faster. When she returned would be a good question indeed it was to the water fall in the forest. narrowing her black eyes she silently shifted, continuing her survey.

Cerri swatted at Ukaia's hands playfully, missing on purpose. "Go upstairs and sleep." she ordered, smiling. "I know you missed Vincent. So scat!" Again her attention turned to Guan, and she sighed. "I was born old, so stop saying things like that." she told him, making a face.
Lily smiled and trilled quietly, content for the moment. She thought about speaking to Cerri, but... the older woman already knew. So instead, she fell asleep, cuddled close to her love.

Ukaia smiled a bit and then noded
"Goodnight!" she said haply> She went pstaris and then into the room with Vincent and Kaden. she curled up with them and sighed snuggling up with them.

"I know." Cerri looked at the man in question, smiling fondly. "But he's a good one. He may be young, but he can handle the things this world throws at him. He'll be alright."

As ukaia swept past her with haste she controled her eurge to growl at the Neko woman. The want to do this was strange never before having any problems with it. Inhaling sharply she finally made the short distance down the stairs, not speaking as she passed the bar, slowly quietly taking steps to get to the front door, that's all she wanted though her Irritation was relivent.

Cerri looked up briefly at River, offering a smile, then turned her eye back to Guan, a frown tugging at her lips. "You know if there's anything I can do to help, just tell me." she murmured, pushing off her blanket and moving to sit on the couch properly, leaning towards him. "Who is it that worries you so?"

"If I knew then I wouldn't be as worried about it," Guan said, rubbing his temples. "Not even Mao and her charge can figure out who's pulling the strings, and for some reason Arlen's the prime target."
