"There's not much to tell. I had to put down the entire stock I acquired. we were hoping to give them control of their shifting between lycan and mortal races, but so far every attempt failed. some attempts proved fatal, other ones proved maddening to the subject. I was hoping if we could harness and control their changes, that they'd prove very powerful allies. but right now, once they change, they become little more then incredibly powerful wolves on two feet. all attempts for them to keep their reason have been unsuccessful."

"I'd rather have someone tell me they hate me and want to hurt me to my face than to quietly keep it to themselves because then I know to run rather than standing there till they eventually pounce on me." Shrugging. "It's love in it's own there. Apparently that comes in a lot of forms and is way more complicated than people like to say it is."
Again with the checking, not that he was going to protest too much as he was feeling nauseaous from the incident now. "She still does that? Let alone maybe at will?" That honestly concerned him mroe than anything, there was no reason she should have to drain people anymore. But he scratched at the back of his neck some, "I never learned to do that. Just attacks. Is it too much different? And it doens't just reroute so that it would hurt her...would it?"
"This is why I tell him to behave. Because you say things like that and then he wants to see it." Fianna shook her head as she came back into the room with Savyrn in tow holding her hand. "Last thing I need is him running around from wolves on two legs or let alone trying to help you figure out how to fix your problems. I would think that once I got him off the throne he'd be less rambunctious but I was wrong. He's only moreso." At least she said it endearingly.

A slight grin at Fianna and motioning for her to take a seat if she'd like and giving a small smile to his daughter. Though zahara's examination of Dhairiss was taking a bit longer he was hoping there hadn't been any larger complications.

"That's a wise way to look at it. I suppose knowing your enemies is good but then there are also frenemies and there's no protecting against them." She should know, she had a few herself. "If it was simple and easy to figure out, what good would it be? It's supposed to twist you up inside and make you question everything you believe. At least that's what my mother says. I don't really know since I've only felt familial love. It does pretty much the same thing though, twist you up inside and make you wonder about everything you think you know."
"She's beginning to learn to control it and bring it out at will where earlier it was a reaction or emotional spike. That makes this even more dangerous." She did another quick cursory exam and then stepped back and crossed her arms. "Do you really think I'd encourage you to do anything that might hurt her in return? It will simply nullify the magic she attempts to emloy against you and save you and her a nasty shock in the process. You need to learn it for anyone that attempts to use something like that on you."

Giving a laugh to that and shaking his head as he didn't have much to say on the matter of love and the definition and what it was supposed to be like and so on and so forth. He was quite the simple elf he supposed. "You know for something seemingly so simple, it's rather not."
"Sometimes I wonder what she does do in her free time to pick up such things on her own." Or she was just being a creepy natural at things again. But he was soothed some by Zhara's explanation. "And I suppose you're going to be the one to teach me because you want to make sure I can do it right and to your standards, yes?"
"One say I'm going to break his legs or tie him to something at the very least. But running around goofing off and I don't want to pull a caged bird situation into my life. Long as he is in one piece and nothing is on his heels. Unfortunately when it comes to you dear Malik, that's hardly the case. "You're both troublemakers."

"She either discovered it by herself or she began playing with particular things and found it that way. Regardless, she knows how to do it and you need to be able to guard against it." She reached up and gently smoothed his hair then nodded. "I don't trust others to teach you something so valuable that it will likely save your life. Malik will need to teach Savryn not to use her power against family or other people simply because she doesn't get her own way. It's defensive magic, not offensive."

He frowned in frustration. "Figures. Why does she have to be creepy about the harmful things." But that was just his sister he guessed and he sighed before turning his attention back to Zahara. "But I suppose you won't be teaching me till this pain subsides hm? I guess I can pay attention and keep for a schedule for a while."
"I never throw rocks...but I will bribe a dragon with something shiny for a show of their Powers." Which got him popping in the back of the head as Fianna sat down and she pulled Savryn into her lap. "You always make me open my big mouth Malik."

"Making people say things they regret moments later seems to be a habit of mine. particularly with andalian elves. But if you were to come with us to Norrath. I'll have to keep an eye on you. Dragons are hardly scarce there. and some more devious then others. I think we'll have to keep you somewhere safe...Ak'Anon should keep you occupied for at least a month."
chuckling lightly and glances to his daughter, and to his wife. nice to be at relative peace...no wolves this time.

In Malik's basement trading depot, the gate activated and Tyyrael accompanied by Lhia stepped through it, the Brigade Master already trying to stifle his nosebleed with a scrap of cloth he had brought. "I forget how stifling Depths air can be..."

One thing at a time, Dhairiss. Just be careful around her now that you know." Patting his arm gently and then gesturing. "We need to get back to your father."
Smoothing her tunic, she glanced around and nodded, a bit worried about Tyyrael as his nose had been bleeding for a while now. But he'd put a lot into trying to keep the rock creature at bay and draining him and it was taking it's toll. "Let's just find D'vinn and get this over with. I don't like leaving that thing more or less on the loose..."

"gnomes were to origin to the book I gave you awhile ago on Mechamagica. Their clockwork and steam driven city would entertain you for a long time I imagine."
Before pausing a moment whiel a servant came in and gave him a message. well that wasn't expected. but he gave a nod all the same and just had two more places set with the usual 'bring them to us' order issued.
"Seems we're entertaining two more guests from Andal."

"You're barely alive to most people in most cases. What with your heads in the books all the time it's hard to spend any time with you. But other than you, I really just don't have an interest in making friends to much."
"Great, more fun than before." Sighing and shaking his head before he headed back downstairs with her, raising an eyebrow lightly at it seemed things were happening still. "Good news, I'm not mutating into something. Isn't that wonderful?"
"It doesn't help that we're a limited number of people who know." Sighing and cleaning himself up as best as possible before they were being escorted upstairs. Oh look at that, he was being cordial. "There is little time for formality D'vinn. I need to speak with you," glancing at the others, "in private, preferably."

That got a raise of his eyebrow..and a glance at Fianna and Kieran. apparently something had gone on there he wasn't made aware of. But a nod to his youngest son.
"Tell Zahara that she can rest herself up for a bit before my examination, let her gather some strength back."
Gesturing for Tyyrael to follow him and going to the general study, and closing the doors behind them.
"and here I was hoping this was a visit just for pleasantries. What troubles you that you're coming here?"

"It takes a lot of work and a long time to become a rune mage and even longer to achieve master status. Therefore, I have little to no time for other things. I make time for you though."
Zahara merely shrugged and plopped down in a chair to rest as she'd been told. Sevilin would be much happier with that anyway. She'd already tuned out his scolding in her head a few times in the past couple of hours anyway.
Lhia was right there with Ty and not leaving his side either. She followed down to the study and shook her head. "We had a visitor on-plane a short while ago. He forced his way through the gate and left us a present when we were less than hospitable to him."
