Dante_Shadowolf Wait, is that about people getting caught in a mist that summons demons and stuff? Yes, exactly. But really, the story's all about emulating the collapse of logicality in times of great trouble or turmoil or chaos... or in some ways, how people change into something different during these times.

I heard it's supposed to last six months. But then, it started in November or so.
All alone.

keichaos Well, if you have read Stephen King's "The Mist" you'd have an idea on how people would react in case the apocalypse is true and nearing... People's thoughts collapse or something so their sense of logicality falls too... It's a bit pitiful but I guess... meh...
Well, the believer would likely say: "Surrender yourself to the power of God! He forgives!" Or something like that? That made for an awful movie.

One of my friends told me that, and after hearing about the details I kinda don't want to see it. What with me being terrified of Resident Evil I'm sure that movie will just traumatize me.

@ Kojiro: Yes... sadly, I didn't like the movie; however, I do like the novel though even if it's not Stephen King's the best.
@ Dante: Oh come on! You're scared of Resident Evil? Goodness me, Dante! Honestly.

Nah, it's different when it's a game actually, especially a FPS.
For example, at first I didn't want to play Left 4 Dead. But when I finally gave in, I relished the treks across the neighborhood, gunning down Spitters and hacking away the zombie masses with a crowbar.
The fear is kinda removed when I realize that 'Hey, I can kill these dudes' xd
