Also, the answer is the same for the person who's still here at 5am now...guess I won't be showing up for work in another three hours...
Holy s**t I have to work in three hours?! cat_gonk Yup, I'm going to have to tell them I can't work tomorrow. The calls have kept me up all freaking night, like it did on Boxing day night. The union says they have to let me get 8 hours of sleep, so by the time I get that the shift will be over...
edit: and at 6:30 I'm here again...They are plotting to have me killed I know it.

I got home at 7:10 and went straight to bed. I went back to work at 2pm to leave the damn pager there and then went back home again. I got one more call night before I fly to my parent's house crying Hopefully since it's on New Year's eve they'll lay off on the calls...

They just don't like the idea of me going to bed at a reasonable hour! And now the damn machine won't work so I'm trying to get a hold of the nurses to let them know that some tests can't be done tonight, but they don't answer their goddamn phones. Good to know they can ignore their phones but God FORBID if I ever do that... stare They'll be paging me when I'm home wondering where those results are and I'm going to be written up because I didn't tell them when I called them THREE FREAKING TIMES and they didn't answer!
Why did my boss think three calls at such TERRIBLE times was a good idea...? Next time I plan a vacation, I'm going to be refusing call the few days before that. What they are putting me through here is pure abuse...
