Miko burst through the air vent, cracking up laughing. Appearantly, there was something stuck in the vent that she couldn't stop laughing at. A few seconds later, Yuki's legs dangled down from the vent, wiggling for freedom. "Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"Miko cried, rolling on the floor.

MISSION- High Tide
The moon is out, the tides are swelling, and the fish are jumping! Get down to the shore and catch yourself a water pokemon! Pokemon: Any non-evolved, non-legendary water-type Rewards: 400 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kado was sitting at a red table with a blue umbrella that hung over head, enjoying a milkshake at an outdoor restaurant. A sunny day was beginning to give way to a warm evening. Kado just kept sipping at his milkshake until the owner of the restaurant finally told him he had to leave. He nodded at the attendant, got up, and threw his shake in a nearby trashcan before walking toward his house, hands in his pockets. As he walked the moon rose higher and higher and shone ever more brightly, and Kado just became more and more tired.
When he finally reached his house, he was so tired that he almost passed out on the front porch. He took one of his hands from his pocket, bringing with it a set of keys. Kado blindly searches for the keyhole in the dark, found it and pushed it in. He turns the knob, opens the door, walks in and slams the door shut. He turns the lock and trudges over to his couch and dramatically, falls on to it heavily. No sooner had his head hit the pillow, his TADS began to beep. Kado opens his eyes and groans. “..aah, are you freaking kidding me right now?” He reaches into his left pocket, pulling up nothing. The TADS continued to beep. He tries his right pocket, and his back pockets only to find nothing.
The beeping only seemed to get louder and louder, it was beginning to drive him insane. “Where is that damn thing!” Kado sits up on the couch and looks at the coffee table and sees the small device. As he reaches for it, it finally stops beeping. Kado sighs. He grabs it and reads the screen:
YOU HAVE 2 MISSED MESSAGES!
Kado groans again. “...Great.” He presses a button and the screen changes. It now read:
1st New Message 10:31:21
Kado, the tides are really getting big down at the beach and the fish are jumping! Get down to the shore and catch yourself a water pokemon!
2nd New Message 10:52:03
Where are you, Kado! You are supposed to carry this around at all times! Anyways... Kado, the tides are really getting big down at the beach and the fish are jumping! Get down to the shore and catch yourself a water pokemon!
“Oh my god, right now?” Kado looks at the time on his TADS. It reads 10:53:41. He sighs. “Well, I guess the sooner I get down there and catch a pokemon, the sooner I can get home and catch some shuteye...” Kado hops up, making sure to put the TADS in his pocket, and goes to the door. He throws on the black jacket he had hanging from a hook next to the door, and quickly opens the door, and locks it behind him. He grabs his bike and hits the road. After a couple minutes of intense peddling, he finally reached the beach. From where he was, he could clearly see the waves crashing against the shore. “..Wow.” Kado hops back on his bike and rides down to the shore. He sets it down in the sand and stands close to the waves. The tide pulls and he gets soaked. “...OH YEAH, this is awesome.....” How am I supposed to catch a water pokemon anyways...just sit here and wait for one to--. Before he could finish his sentence, a wet, blue ball slammed into his face, knocking him back a few feet. “..SEA!!”
The ball bounced back to his feet, and shouts. “Hoooor..SEA!” Kado rubs his forehead, and approaches the pokemon. “Ah..Poliwag. That will definitely do nicely.” As he got closer to it, Horsea backed up closer to the ocean. (Thinking)”I've gotta stop that Horsea...” He reaches into his pocket and retrieves a pokeball. “Goo...Poochyena!” Kado throws the ball up into the air and with a red stream of light, a black dog-like pokemon is released. It looks up at the bright full moon and lets out a howl. “AHWOOOO...!” Horsea was so frightened by this, that it attempted to hop back into the ocean.
Kado caught it before it could make it. “It's trying to get away! Use Take Down!”
With almost blinding speed, Poochyena rushes at Horsea and throws his body at it, recklessly. The force of the move actually knocked Horsea into the sea( haha, see what I did there..lol), and Poochyena back into the sand, hurting them both. The waves pull back, revealing a fallen Horsea. It struggles back up, and catches the tide on the rebound giving it a speed boost as it comes in for a tackle attack. It connects with tremendous impact. “Hor..SEA!” It looks proud of itself.
Poochyena*Take Down* – 80%
Horsea*Tide Tackle* – 85%
Now with the advantage, Horsea goes in for the follow-up. It inhales and blows out a flurry of bubbles. Poochyena was just getting up when he saw the attack coming for him. “Poochyena! Dodge that Bubble Attack, and use Bite! The bubble attack was an inch away from hitting, when Poochyena quickly jumped to the right and tackled Horsea to the ground before sinking its teeth deep into its torso. “That's good work, 'Yena!”
Poochyena*Dodge/Bite* - 80%
Horsea*Bubble Attack* - 65%
Horsea struggles to his feet and it and Poochyena stare each other down. Poochyena barks something to Horsea, probably something along the lines of “You make the first move, loser..” Horsea says something in retort, probably something like..”F*ck you!” Horsea begins to spin around and around forming a Twister which it launches at Poochyena. He gets swept up off of his feet hurled several feet into the air and crashes down to the sand with a sickening thud. Poochyena was down and down hard. He was unable to mount an offense.
Poochyena*Own'd* - 70%
Horsea*Twister* - 65%
(I'm gonna speed this up now, lol)
**Kado sends out Dratini to help**
**Horsea uses Water Gun on Dratini**
**Poochyena uses Crunch, Horsea dodges**
**Dratini uses Body Slam**
**Horsea's Twister comes back around**
*+*Round Outcome*+*
Horsea – 50%
Poochyena – 65%
Dratini – 90%
**Dratini uses Hyber Beam, only barely hits..still super effective. ½ damage.**
**Horsea uses Hydro Pump, it connects on Poochyena, Dratini surfs it.**
**Poochyena is KO'd**
*+*Round Outcome*+*
Horsea – 25%
Poochyena – KO
Dratini – 90%
Kado seizes his opportunity, and throws a pokeball. It bounces off of Horsea's head and drags it inside with a flash of red light. The ball lands softly in the sand, and shakes Once......Twice.....Three Times, and dings. Horsea was caught! Kado placed Horsea's pokeball in his pocket, and returns Poochyena and Dratini to their balls, and places them in his pocket as well. “...Finally..” Kado walks over to his bike, but before he could make it on, he passes out in the sand, as the waves finally begin to die down, and the moon shines brightly overhead.

EDITED!!!
Level 1 MISSION - Cesar'S Salad
Cesar really hates it when you call him Cesar Salad. He hates it more when people ask him to make the side salad for dinner. He knows how to do it but he doesnt want to be seen getting the supplys.Go get Cesar some lettuce, tomatos and anything else you want at the health food store.(You will battle 2 Salad Guys,2 grass pokemon each)
Pokémon: (catch 1 only) Any Basic Grass Pokemon(out side the health food store)
Funds upon completeion: 500
Item: None --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adalia groaned as she looked at the list Cesar had given to her. “This is the second time this week!!” she said angrily, “Why can’t he get his own damn salad.”
Luckily, the store was not too far away because she couldn’t wait to get back to the base and rest. This was tough work…but it was enjoyable. After walking for about 20 minutes, Adalia stood in front of the health food store, and looked at the list again, just so she knew what she was getting. “Okay,” she read, “Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and carrots…seems easy enough to remember.”
She opened the door, the small bell attached to the handle made a jingling noise, and stepped through. It didn’t take long for her to notice the stuff she needed and she strode over, grabbing a shopping cart on the way by. When she reached the vegetable stand, it was being blocked by 2 guys dressed in a green spandex outfit and had necklaces with turnips adorning their necks. “Um, excuse me…I need to get some vegetables.” She said, eying their tasteless costumes.
“yeah…tough luck little girl. We’re going to take all of it.” The first salad guy said, tossing a pokeball into the air, releasing an Exeggcute.
“oh, is that so?” Adalia responded, sending out her new partner Torchic. “Let’s go, Blaze.”
"Tooooor” it chirped, as it readied itself for an attack.
“Eggy, use Light Screen.”His trainer called, and it responded by creating a shiny pink wall in front of itself, in an attempt to shield it from Torchic’s oncoming attack.
“Blaze…use Ember.” Adalia said, as the small bird puffed out its chest and then blew out tons of sparking fiery shards at the pink pokemon. It’s attack was successful but unfortunately, it wasn’t as strong as it should have been, due to Exeggcute’s Light Screen.
“Nice try, kid.” He said with a grin. “Now, use Bullet Seed.”
Exeggute launched a few seeds at Torchic; one hitting him in the head, stomach and face. It had hurt him, but did little damage.
“Try another Ember attack!” Adalia shouted, as Torchic sprayed another hot blast at Exeggute. This time it was a critical hit, knocking Exeggcute out.
“Hmmm…not bad. But try this one.” The salad guy said, tossing out another pokeball, this one sparkled as the pokemon emerged: it was a green Hoppip. “All right, Broccoli.”
Adalia wasted no time in attacking, “Use a Scratch attack.” She said. Torchic obeyed, his sharp nails raking across the small green Pokemon.
“How about we even things up?” He said, commanding his pokemon to use Poison Powder.
“Be careful, Blaze. Don’t breathe in that powder.” She said. But it was too late, the poison was already affecting him, even if the damage was a little bit at a time…he was still sick. “Try to use Ember again.”
Yet again, Torchic attacked with small flames that scorched his opponent, but was becoming weaker as he stood there. He swayed a bit as the poison seeped away more of his strength.
“Hang in there.” Adalia pleaded as Hoppip launched a mean Tackle attack, knocking over the small fluffy pokemon who then struggled to stand up.
“Okay, Ember one last time.” She said, as Torchic gathered up the rest of his strength and attacked with another furious flame, knocking Hoppip out. However, the poison had finally overcome Torchic too, resulting in a double knock out.
The salad guy growled as he recalled his fallen pokemon, and said “I won’t forget you.”, then stormed out of the store. Adalia also recalled her pokemon, praising it for doing such a good job.
“Just because you beat him quickly, doesn’t mean I’m as easy.” The second salad guy said angrily.
Adalia braced herself for another battle as the salad guy sent out an Oddish. She knew this battle was going to be tough, but sent out Totodile anyway. “Come on out Spike.”
The little alligator pokemon bared his teeth at Oddish menacingly, obviously ready for a fight. She chuckled at Totodile’s willingness to battle a type of Pokemon bound to kick the crap out of him…but she had confidence in the blue sharp toothed reptile. “Use Bite.” She commanded as he clamped down hard on Oddish’s knobby leg, knocking it over.
Salad guy was not happy about this and told Oddish to use Sweet Scent. It shook it’s leaves and a cloud of pink fog surrounded the two pokemon and Totodile’s eyes slid half mast. Oddish’s attack was working…he was enjoying the perfumed smelling air.
“Spike!” Adalia shouted, “Pay attention…and use Scratch.”
Totodile’s eyes snapped open as he swiped his claws across Oddish, making it squeal in pain.
Next Oddish was told to use Absorb…which was not good for Totodile. It was super effective, and restored some of Oddish’s health. Although, Totodile was weakened considerably, he still did not give up, and bit Oddish again, but on his head this time, making him unable to move, causing a great deal of damage. Oddish struggled to stand, but fainted.
Salad guy angrily sent out another pokemon, the weedy looking Bellsprout and told him to attack with Vine Whip, which it did; smacking Totodile right on the head. This attack was more than he could handle, already taking considerable amount of damage in the previous battle.
Adalia was upset but called Spike back, congratulating him on a great battle as well before sending out her own grass pokemon, Tangela.
“Alright…Tangela, use Sleep Powder.” She instructed.
Tangela hopped around excitedly spraying a plume of blue dust everywhere. It heavily blanketed Bellsprout, who seemed to be immune. But moments later it swayed on the spot and fell asleep.
Salad guy was not amused by this either. He yelled at Bellsprout to wake up but to no avail.
“Now, Tangela use Constrict.”
Tangela’s vines engulfed the twig-like pokemon and squeezed it tightly, preventing any movement. All the while Bellsprout’s trainer continues to yell to wake it up, quite furious now. The constricting onslaught continued only for a few minutes longer, when Bellsprout woke up, he used Absorb, which did little good for the situation that he was in.
Adalia knew that this battle would go forever if she didn’t do something quick, so she ordered Tangela to constrict even harder this time…and it worked, Bellsprout was become weaker and weaker by the second, with each constriction of Tangela’s vines.
Minutes later, after a long struggle to get free, Bellsprout was also knocked out.
Adalia smirked triumphantly. “Now, I think it’s time for you to leave.” She said.
Salad guy was downright pissed as well. “We’ll definitely be back.” He said recalling Bellsprout and stomping out of the store.
She sighed heavily as she filled the shopping cart with tons of salad fixings. “There, that should keep him for a while.” She said, paying for 5 heads of Lettuce, 4 packs of Tomatos, 2 bags of Carrots, and 2 large cucumbers.
As she was leaving the shop she noticed a runty looking Chikorita being attacked by a group of Spearow.
“Hey…you leave that Chikorita alone.” She said picking up the closest weapon she could find; a stick. The Spearows eyed her cautiously as she came closer and closer to them. One was brave enough to attack the poor Chikorita again. “I said knock it off!!” she yelled, sending out Tangela once more, then instructed it to use Sleep Powder again.
Moments later the angry Spearows were fast asleep, as was the wounded Chikorita so she examined it and found that it was in dire need of medical attention. She carefully picked it up and made her way to the pokemon center.
"Welcome, how may i help you this evening?" Nurse Joy asked with a smile.
"Well my partners could use a good rest and the Chikorita needs to be checked out, you see it was attacked by a flock of wild Spearows and it's hurt pretty bad." Adalia explained.
Nurse Joy nodded, as Adalia placed her pokeballs into the healing machine and a few moments later they were in perfect shape. Next, Nurse Joy asked Blissey to assist her with Chikorita, and assured Adalia that Chikorita would be back in fighting form tomorrow morning.
"You'll be able to pick it up then." she said as they wheeled Chikorita into the operating room. "You're welcome to stay, if you'd like."
Adalia thought that was a wonderful idea...but first she'd have to call Cesar and tell him she wouldn't be able to make it back to the base until tomorrow morning. Cesar wasn't very pleased with her for not getting the salad back to him as quickly as he'd have liked but allowed her to stay and bring his groceries back in the morning.
>>>
Before the sun even rose the next day, Adalia was waiting anxiously in the Pokemon Center lobby. The lighted sign had gone off and Nurse Joy stepped out of the room, with Chikorita in her arms.
"I'd like to battle you Chikorita." Adalia said, "and make you an addition to my team...is that ok?"
The crimson eyed pokemon nodded, and jumped out of the nurses's arms and onto the tiled floor.
"Come on out, Blaze." Adalia said as she released Torchic.
Torchic was happy to be battling again and looked up expectanty at his trainer, waiting for an order.
"Ember attack." she said, and he blew out a mouthful of red hot embers at Chikorita who dodged and stuck Torchic hard in the head with Vine Whip.
Torchic was not thrilled and unleashed another Ember attack, as his trainer instructed again. This time it didn't miss, and was a critical hit; charring the poor Grass Pokemon's leg and leaving it weakened.
As a last effort Chikorita attacked with a sharp Razor Leaf attack, a few grazing Torchic body.
"Alright, Scratch attack" Adalia said.
After Torchic's attack, Chikorita was hurt by the burn leaving it with little energy left, so she tossed a pokeball at the burnt Grass pokemon. It turned it into a red light and was drawn inside. It shook once, twice, three times then stilled. Adalia smiled as she picked up the ball. She had captured a new pokemon; and now it was time to go back to the base and finally deliver Cesar his salad.

*Waits for the moon to go behind some clouds, then slips in to leave two mission grades* Ikuba Kado MISSION- High Tide The moon is out, the tides are swelling, and the fish are jumping! Get down to the shore and catch yourself a water pokemon! Pokemon: Any non-evolved, non-legendary water-type Rewards: 400 You had a great start and I would love to pass the mission, but you blew it at the end. You can't double-team Horsea like that. Plus you really didn't need to "speed up" the battle the way you did. When you rewrite the battle as a one-on-one confrontation, would it be too much to ask that you make the last part as detailed as the first? Like I said, it's a great mission except for the last part of the battle. A good edit should be all you need to pass. watchdawg77 Level 1 MISSION - Cesar's Salad Cesar really hates it when you call him Cesar Salad. He hates it more when people ask him to make the side salad for dinner. He knows how to do it but he doesnt want to be seen getting the supplys.Go get Cesar some lettuce, tomatos and anything else you want at the health food store.(You will battle 2 Salad Guys,2 grass pokemon each) Pokémon: (catch 1 only) Any Basic Grass Pokemon(out side the health food store) Funds upon completeion: 500 Item: None ((i hope this is ok...i didn't want to drag it out past 3 pages. xd )) A fine and dandy mission! My only big concern is the way you caught Chikorita. There isn't a maximum limit on mission length, so if you need to go past 3 pages, then by all means, go ahead! Right now, I see two options. One, you rewrite the Chikorita battle so you actually battle it. (Maybe have Nurse Joy heal it first) Or two, check with an Admin on whether the capture is permissible or not. There are a couple other things I noticed, but didn't count against the grade. - Please copy the entire mission brief, not just the title. - Reflect cuts Physical attack damage, but Ember is a Special attack. Try Light Screen instead (Exeggcute learns both, if I'm not mistaken) - At the end, take off the first 'a' from Caesar. Cesar gets picky when people misspell his name. - Double-check your formatting tags. *Disappointed at seeing two excellent missions barely miss passing, I slip quietly into the night once more*
