Exxos humble_gypsy_traveller Sammirah Camwen humble_gypsy_traveller btw...did I mention that... guys? Awwww ((((humongous hugs)))). I do know what you mean about how sad it is when people lose touch. It's happened with me over the years with various groups of people. School friends, work friends, online friends... it's hard not to take it personally when the other people (or you) need to move on. But I guess that's just a hard fact of life. There of course always seem to be a few that you never lose touch with 3nodding Lets just say I hope the AGA last a long long time. smile Yeah, it's definitely rough, but also definitely part of life. I think it's been almost a year that I joined AGA? I think it was later in the summer that I found you guys. Maybe this is sappy and rediculous...but when people embrace me as warm and intimately as you guys on Gaia...it means a lot to me seeing as I don't have the funds to hang out with my friends irl...it means a lot to me...and I just get scared that I would lose touch with the group and get really down. some people say "well just find new people and move on" but friends are not disposable to me...I hoard them like I hoard favourite material objects. I am glad that I am not the only one that feels like that. It makes me feel less weird. Well maybe I'm the weird one...but we're like a small family.

Sammirah humble_gypsy_traveller Sammirah humble_gypsy_traveller Is thinking she is a failure at the art of theme tekteking. crying sweatdrop What were you trying to tektek? Well I should re-phrase...I'm a failure at theme dressing up. I did an avi for a contest...and I didn't even get one vote. It's not easy. ehh... I've not gotten any votes a few times myself. Don't be too discouraged. smile Regarding losing touch with friends - I certainly don't consider friends to be disposable either. I just meant that I understand more now that sometimes people need to move on to other things. It still makes me sad - but I don't get angry about it anymore or take it quite as personally. I think the worse one was when I was in grad school and there were about 7 of us that were as close as possible. We were roommates, coworkers at a research center, and classmates. Pretty much joined at the hip for three years. Then after graduation, we intended to keep in touch but the circumstances that had kept us together were no longer there. It was completely heartbreaking.

It's a photoshop from the toronto standard's article making light of it.
If you look at the steps and escalators, it's only a few inches of rain and sewage that they are supposed to be in there.

I like playing the crossword ones. It's going towards the extra $100 I'm taking to the casino on Monday to feed my addiction...lol. I should add that $100 was made from when I went to the casino last 3 weeks ago.

Ugh, there's nothing quite so discouraging as selling off a few small items in the marketplace and have them all be bought up by the same person. Like, am I really that much of an idiot that these are all so low and you're gonna make a profit off me? gonk
