You think?

I bought a new phone. Finally. My other one had like, ten minutes of talk time on it and that's it. I was getting so fed up. I had to pay full price for the stupid thing though. It cost me almost $500 which is disgusting. Thank god my new job pays well. Its a sweet phone though. I quite like it.

Jon and I broke up last Mon. I've been trying so hard to keep it together, but its getting harder. It really, really sucks, and it came out of nowhere. Like, seriously out of nowhere. He was like, "I need space." So I've been trying not to cry all week. I'm on a 19 day stretch for work, and I know that if I let this get to me, I'm going to screw myself over for work, and with the families I'm working with at camp. SDKLJF:LKSDJFL:KSDJF:LKSJ Sometimes I hate being an adult.

Inukshuk, my fish, died last night. That made me sad. My dad bought him for me when I was in Ontario, and yeah... I brough him back out here. The cold killed him I think. We just had a massive snowstorm the other day. Ridiculous. May and it's still snowing.
The new job is going well. I work crazy a** hours these days because well, I have so much to do and I want to get it done so I can move onto the next thing. I have five major presentations to prepare for over the next three weeks... And they each take a week to prep for. Lame.
I'm moving out in three months, and I'm totally stoked on it. Maybe less than three months. Depends on when my friends roomie moves out. Its going to be sweet living with her. Its going to be sweet just to get out of my mother's house. She drives me insane.

Yeah, I'm sorry. I get way wrapped up into everything (ask Soleq) and I just take off from it.

Been working on finals right now. They're next week and I'm not too worried about them even though I should be.

It's been pretty hot here lately. Though, it was freezing last week. Been wearing bathing suites pretty much. That's what I wear all summer. Too hot to wear anything else.

Sami and I had our 1 year anniversary, May 16th. We really didn't do anything actually. Kind of funny. We have for the 2 month and everything. 1 year we just kind of vegged out. We'll probably do something after finals anyway.

It's been a hell of a ride so far.

I've learned a lot about life and the world this semester. Taking Sociology 100 and Geography 100 was definitely worth the heartache of studying for it and writing the essays. I think I wrote my first research paper. It was really weird. It was an actual research paper where all we did was cite, cite, cite. Anyway, it was on the security problems in Baghdad. After researching for about 30 hours I've concluded that the problem is a little better because Saddam is out but the violence is still continuing and isn't likely to change. We worry about being late for school. They worry about not making it to school.

You guys know where Iraq is? My geography teacher said there were students who couldn't name all 50 states. Some didn't even know where the US was on the map. Now doesn't that make you feel good about yourself?
