Elyria looked around at their faces and turned to follow Zara "Dawson catch up with her and lead the way if you would...Corvin, Logan.. offering an arm to each "Shall we go?

Coruscant - Locolvictum's Personal Quarters
Locolvictum woke up from another restless sleep. He could never truly sleep, but only dream of things that haunt him. He sat up and rubbed his face. It was wet and his eyes were red.
Locolvictum stood up from the bed and shook his head. He felt a presence in his room. Making a sudden jerk with his whole body, Locolvictum turned around and found the cloaked figure was there. It was just standing on the far side of the room, just staring at him.
Locolvictum relaxed but only for a moment and asked, "What do I owe the displeasure?"
"The players are ready, there is over two hundred."
"That isn't enough, I want an army."
"The more we make, the harder it is going to keep it a secret."
"That's why I left it to you."
The cloaked figure seemed to give a nod of acknowledgement. But Vic, he wasn't concerned about the project. He was more concerned by the fact that the figure sneaked into his room without him noticing. Truly the cloaked figure was something that he could never understand.
"Is that all you wanted to say?" Vic asked the cloaked figure.
"No, but we will speak again soon."
Then the figure vanished, leaving Vic alone again inside his quarters.

Nal Hutta "So selling your fleet off to the highest bidder, which would easily be the imperials, would not result in the deaths of countless innocents? Your conscience would be ok with that would it? Because the last I checked that was entirely avoidable." "Would keeping my fleet at bay do any good either? The Empire is the strongest military might in the galaxy. Let us say I do not sell the service of my ships to them, how long before they simply have another built with stronger guns and shields then my boys have? I have a vast wealth that is accumulating even as we speak, not to mention objects of value seperate from the banks but I do not that the clout that they do. They will have a new fleet and it will be more advanced than mine, if they have to hire me it siphons credits away from building there own. For all we know he already has another ten-thousand star destroyers in reserve now coming online to deal with the Je'daii." The red skinned zeltron had made his way to the door way as he spoke. "If the Empire even considers purchasing the service I can offer it will stall him thus saving lives. Make no mistake I suspect if the Emperor wants something he will have it so if I can save the lives of only a handful of people is that not better than letting them live another month maybe two before he seeks to unleash his own men and there will be no surviving that." the man shook his head in dismay hoping the one called Logan could understand what he was trying to do "Even if he does hire me I suspect he will not hire all of my ships, frigates, shuttles, light transports, they will be of no practical use to him. My men will not fire on each other given my order, those ships can then be used to ferry people to safety." No trackers..precautions were taken after our encounter with Lolovictum. He was concealed in a crate and when I mentioned Zara's name he showed himself...asking for her...asking where she was...we disarmed him and have him bound aboard the Wren...Logan is from Voss..he spied him sneaking aboard our ship and followed him to gauge his purpose there.. Zara his is no Force user...but his uniform is that of the Sith Intelligence Division...I believe he was sent to bring you back...your punishment for helping Master Endar escape...well..in my experience with the Sith...your time is short.... The pirate kept his mouth closed as he followed the conversation speaking only at the implied threat posed on his first mate "I suppose they will try and kill her, but I suspect no one here will just sit by and let that happen right?" he hoped for the question to be strictly rhetorical but there was always a chance someone would agree or disagree with him. "I say we get off this rock as soon as possible!"Dawson was somewhat startled by the new man entering the room, he had always been able to tell when someone was getting close to him but that was not the case here. I could not get the credits we came to collect but we have recovered something of near equal value and I highly reccomend we leave the planet, the stench has away of sticking even after several good washings."

It is going to be absolute anarchy once word reaches the streets that the hutt is dead. I suspect the rumor of seeing a lightsaber on the planet would only draw the kind of attention we do not want. All of you do have a substantial bounty on your heads you know."

Nal Hutta - Zebro's PalaceZara had remained silent while everyone else shared their thoughts, shooting a glance at the newcomer who had been pointing fingers at everyone but himself. What had this man done to earn anyone's trust? Had he rescued the grandmaster? No. Had he fought alongside the Je'daii in the battle of Voss? No. And yet why did the Je'daii seem to trust him far more than her and the Zeltron? This was so very strange, something had to be up. Zara didn't like this one bit. She walked alongside Dawson as he lead them to the cantina, her arms crossed and a contemplative expression on her face. She looked up at him for a brief moment, wondering what his play was. For all he knew she was a fugitive, and bringing a fugitive back to the Empire would earn credits and favor with the Emperor. What could he gain from harboring her? "Adventure" and some feeling of bravado? What good was that when he had already admitted to her that he didn't care about much in life other than credits? There was not one person in the room that Zara could trust.

Nal Hutta" All of you do have a substantial bounty on your heads you know.""So what else is new?" Corvin said, accepting Elyria's arm with an air of nonchalance. A Hutt was dead... well, this wouldn't be the first time he was in that sort of trouble. If he couldn't convince his comrades to get off world, he'd simply have to help them wrap up their business faster. Zara, Dawson, Logan, and now that strange woman he saw earlier that looked eerily like Elyria... there were plenty of mysteries still unsolved, and perhaps that was better done when they weren't in a confined space, separated from the void by only a few inches of metal. He was grateful that he still carried his vibroblade visibly, his blaster more so, and his lightsaber carefully concealed.

Nal Hutta. Mizu lay high on a rooftop waiting for her prey to pass by. She wasn't being paid but this was a matter of principle. He was going to die. From her vantage point she saw them walk out of the building and down the street. She had a tan sheet covering her and the scope on her QuietSnipe was blackened. They weren't going to see this coming. Adjusting the variable zoom she focused on the pirate and the girl accompanying him. "Gotcha! 1 shot, 2 kills. Perfect."Grinning slyly she lined up her shot and pulled the trigger. [Tom here, I would like to point out thy we use a rank as dice based combat system in this roleplay to make combat both fair an entertaining. It is impossible for your character to kill another character with out consent, nor is death a requirement once your hp is zero. As a new player you would be a rank 1 either mercenary or force user. The most amount of damage you can deal is 35 hp with your health at a mere 50hp. In order to attack both Dawson and Zara you must either use a controlled explosive roll. 1-5 miss 6-10 hit, or two separate attack rolls as. The battle and rank system are explained in the main branch of this sub forum Rank and Battle system Hopefully this helps ]]

Nal HuttaAs they emerged from the palace and into the afternoon sun, Zara felt a tingling on the back of her neck, that uncomfortable sensation of being watched... She looked up at the Nal Hutta sky, toxic green after years of pollution. Her eyes trailed towards what looked like an abandoned apartment complex. Most of the windows were boarded up, but there was something wrong. Zara wasn't sure what it was, but she could sense it. She had felt that presence before... Zara felt a slight breeze against her face, closing her eyes in a moment of clarity. A shot was fired, and time seemed to stand still for a moment. There was nothing she was aware of except for her and the bullet. Before she knew it she had moved, her right hand was raised, keeping the shot that had been fired suspended in midair barely an inch away from her palm. A pause, and she released the bullet and it dropped harmlessly to the ground. The sound of the shot being fired had caused a panic in the marketplace. All around them people were running and screaming, trying to get away in a frenzy. Zara stood still in the middle of it, in too much shock to move or communicate anything coherent. Zara nudged the newcomer who had been introduced as Logan, the one who had claimed to be following a sniper back to the ship. She tilted her head in the direction of the building, as if to suggest that he should investigate. He seemed to have a knack for attracting snipers, maybe this person had been after him.

Nal Hutta Ryo heard the shot ring out and glanced around. Panicked people were running everywhere. He saw Zara hold her hand up and noticed she was halting a bullet in mid-air. He followed the path it flew up to a series of apartment blocks east of them. She nudged him and nodded in the same direction.
"5 seconds ago you didn't trust me at all, now you want me to go search this out on my own? Heh I guess you just see me as the most expendable. Whatever, I planned on checking this out anyway."
Sweeping his hood back up over his head he wove through the crowd off in the direction of the sniper.
"Now who are we dealing with."

"Get down!" Corvin shouted, putting himself in between Elyria and the direction of the shot while he scanned the area for viable sniping positions. There! A flash of red hair on a nearby rooftop, partially hidden by a rifle scope... she would have been easier to spot had sunlight actually penetrated the pollution here. By now Ryo was making his way through the crowd, but there was no way he'd reach the assassin like that before she'd had ample time to escape. He used the chaos as a distraction and pulled his force cloak around his person again, vanishing from sight and sound for just a moment as he gathered the force into his very favorite talent - the leap. Normally this produced a sonic boom, but the cloak was enough to conceal the noise as he soared over their assailant, drawing his blaster as he landed behind her. His cloak dropped suddenly as he placed the cold muzzle against the back of her neck, and he adopted his scoundrel manner once more. "I give you points for dramatic timing... " he grinned, secretly admiring how soon the shot came after their bounty was mentioned, "But I think you've underestimated your mark. Leave the rifle there and get up slowly, and you just might live through this!"

Nal Hutta. Mizu hissed through her teeth in irritation that her shot had not only been detected but stopped so easily. This was going to take a little more work it appeared. "I give you points for dramatic timing...but I think you've underestimated your mark. Leave the rifle there and get up slowly, and you just might live through this!" She felt the cold metal barrel of a gun pressed against the back of her neck and she chuckled. "I think you're the one underestimating me here. My fight wasn't with you but looks like you just added yourself to the list."Controlling the heat of her body she directed it into the gun making it too hot for anyone to hold. Spinning around at the same time she aimed a kick at her assailants torso and attempted to push him away. "It seems like everyone is just out to ruin my day!"

ATTACK = SUCCESS Corvin Blanc: 200 HP Mizuyuki Lotus: 50HP (non-lethal attack = no damage) A Force using pirate? Now that sounded familiar... "Maybe I have!" Corvin said, dropping his useless blaster to the rooftop below as he braced himself to catch her foot. He was probably enjoying this too much - he'd never let his guard down like this on Nal Hutta before... "But I am not alone!"From behind her, he'd placed himself on the same trajectory she used... so it made perfect sense to send his foe straight to his mentor. He threw a simple force push at the fiery assassin, attempting to fling her backwards to the ground at Elyria's feet. NOTE: I am rolling to see if my Force Push connects, but Corvin is still fighting non-lethally, so I do not intend to deal the 40HP of damage if it hits. Bruising and injured pride may be unavoidable, however...
If you do not roll for your attacks, you cannot be assured of a hit and will deal no damage, but it makes for excellent role playing!

"I don't care how many of you there are!"Sliding across the ground she used the momentum to backflip onto a wall and then launch herself directly at the Je'daii, aiming her fist straight for his face. "I'll beat you all down!"

Nal Hutta.Attack = SUCCESS Corvin Blanc: 200 HP Mizuyuki Lotus: 50HP (Grapple = No damage) Corvin grabbed her oncoming fist with the force - it was much easier than Zara's stopping of a bullet, after all. He knew the assassin could try to free herself from his hold with a contest of wills, but this would buy him some precious moments as he lifted her hand so that she dangled by it, her face level with his as he grinned. "I was like you not long ago..." he said, feeling empathy toward his assailant from the similarities he could observe. "You're probably out for our bounty, but not all value is in coin. Put your anger aside, and you might find talking with me to be much more... profitable."A Je'daii Master he may now be, but Corvin has always been first and foremost a Scoundrel, and something in his tone indicated that this would be the last chance he offered the impetuous pyrokinetic before he stopped taking it easy on her.

"You're probably out for our bounty, but not all value is in coin. Put your anger aside, and you might find talking with me to be much more... profitable." "Bounty? I don't even know who you are! And as for being angry, if you don't let me down right now, you're going to see exactly how angry I can get!"Clicking her fingers in her free hand she ignited a flame and threw it at the Je'daii. She couldn't fight this guy one on one but she wasn't going to sit here and listen to his preaching. Using the fireball as a decoy she jumped off the side of the building, swung around a pole underneath her and landed on the ground below.

Nal Hutta Ryo saw the girl from earlier tumble to the ground in front of him and begin to run off. Increasing his pace he caught up to her, and grabbed her by the wrists, spinning her in mid-air and slamming her into the ground with a kick to the stomach. Leaning over her he placed a foot on her chest to stop her getting away and waited for the others to catch up.
"I'm not as forgiving as these Je'daii. Move and you die. Try any more little fire magic tricks and you die. Look at me in the wrong way and...well you get the point."
Reaching down with his right hand he unclipped her scabbard and held it up away from her.
