The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Why not outside?" Raevyn asked, trying not to whine. Unlike Lucian, he had spent most of his life in hiding. It was only in the last couple years that he'd started to come out more, going to school and stuff. "Outside is nice. Lots of room there." He said, though he didn't know how big Jennalin's loft was. He'd never been to her place. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin thought for a moment. Why was it that outside was a no-go? Right. "Don't want to lose the six year old." She answered, not mentioning Krixion's actual name. Perhaps Raevyn would do the math and figure out who the six people other than Lucian, her, Raevyn, and Ash were that were invited. "Just my living room in my loft is bigger than Luke's and this apartment combined." She told him, in hopes that he would agree.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed. As much as he might complain, he did like children and never wanted to endanger them in anyway. "Fine....." He muttered, still not completely happy but agreeing. The bigger space certainly helped. "How long does the party last?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin thought for a moment. "Usually lasts from noon until Lix's parents want them home..." She said before realizing she'd slipped. After that, she focused on writing the recipe, hoping he wouldn't notice her words.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grumbled but seemed to accept the time frame. Then he realized who Jennalin had said. "Oh no. Oh no, no, no. No. You are not siccing me with Lixini and her crew, in a confined space, for gods know how long!" His fur began to bristle at the thought of that situation. "Gods above, don't do that to me! That is cruel!" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin sighed, cursing herself for her slip. "Oh, come on, all three of the older siblings are going to be there. And you are going to be in human form, so Krix won't really bother you. Really, it'll be fine." She told him, hoping that this would go over better with the mention that the younger ones wouldn't bother him in human form.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn did not look appeased in the slightest. "Lixini alone is bad enough. But now you want to sic the rest of her family on me?" He seemed appalled at the idea. "I don't care which form I'm in, Lixini is still annoying!" More and more, he was really not liking the idea of this party. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin pouted. "Oh, come on! It wouldn't be the same without them. We have a tradition. And I swear, they'll be settled enough. We usually just watch a movie, then with presents and food, and then the littler kids go home with Lix's twin, Alex. Only Lixini and Valixia stay - to play a game or two. Then they have to go home. So...really, they won't be running around much. I swear." She informed him, finishing off copying the recipe.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Well then enjoy your tradition." Raevyn told her blithely. There was something about his voice though that said he wasn't saying everything. It was a suddenly agreeable sentence, suspiciously so. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin continued to frown. "There's something that you aren't telling me. What is it?" She questioned, her eyes glancing to the sleeping Ash.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "What?" Raevyn asked, giving her an innocent look as only a cat could - Amber eyes wide and sweet looking, as if he could never be up to mischief. It was a look anyone who knew cats - were or not - became wary of. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin rolled her eyes. "You seem to forget that I grew up in a family of cats. What did you leave out?" She questioned, looking at him. "I know that look, so don't think that you have any chance of fooling me."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed and muttered something that sounded suspiciously like a curse. "I'll be there, alright? That's all you have to know." He would be there, if only to make Ashriel happy. But he didn't say how long he would be there. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin rolled her eyes, quickly putting away the cookbook as Ashriel woke up. "Err...whatdidImiss?" She asked, sleep slurring her words as she opened her eyes.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Nothing Ash." Raevyn said soothingly, instantly leaping to the floor and trotting towards Ashriel. "We were just debating on what you might want for supper for your birthday." He lied smoothly. The tiger that should be....isn't....
