"Fine..." Ayumi said glaring at Lehran gripping her sword. "I don't believe that." She said disappering then popped up behind him putting the sword blade to his neck. She wasn't going to hurt him she was get proving her point he wasn't. "I think I proved my point." She said keeping her blade to his neck.

"nice try kid" lightning then fell from the sky right beside her not touching her but close enough to push her back. He then got up and his eyes blackend as the surrounding area was engulfed in flames rising higher and higher then rain came down creating a mist everywhere when cleared Lehran had Ayumi's sword and her feet were trapped. "like I said, I am stronger."

Ayumi looked around then at Lehran smirking. "Not bad." She said disappering but stayed there making it look like she was gone. 'Lets see if he's smart enough.' She thought.

Lehran looked around "Oh no where have you gone" he said almost in a bored tone and looked towards where she was at and pointed. "you know in a situation like this playing around is highly ill advised after all what if I'm wrong this time what if my first guess was right then we would be wasting time wouldn't we."

Ayumi looked at Leran smirking. 'Thinking he can toy with me?' She thought kind of mad. She tried to get out still disappered so he didn't see how much she wanted to get out of there to get to Chase.

"and don't even think about trying to get to him, he is aware of the abilities of everyone here and the only way to break that barrier he's made is to destroy everything in sight, which would destroy us in the process. My patience runs thin" he said as he tapped his finger on the ground. "Chase is hundreds of years old and for a large part of his life he's had nothing but his thoughts for company, figuring out how to use his powers to prevent anyone from getting to him is what he does best."

"I hate you" Ayumi said low trying to get out. She was going to try everything she could to get out to get to Chase. "I know that but I don't want him to be closed to me...I want to be there for him." She said echoing her voice so Lehran didn't know where she was.

"yeah I know but the minute he sees you he's going to think of the pain he's putting you through by loving Sage as well, and if he sees Sage he'll think the same way. Don't you get it, Chase has to be sure of absolutly everything he does or else his powers attack him when they did he ran to heal himself. right now is the time to leave him alone. This is why I am asking you two to work things out or else I'm going to have to make the decision for you."

Ayumi glared at Lehran and layed in the ground. "Do what you wish..." She said not caring what he did, she just cared about what Chase was going to do and what was going to happen to him.

"I'm not supposed to do anything you and Sage are I'm just making sure you two don't kill each other, because if that happens you will really make Chase angry and trust me he is not someone you want mad at you."

Ayumi sighed and layed there thinking. ".....Fine....I wont kill her.....but even if I did, I wouldn't care if Chase is angry at me." She said starting not to care about anything.

The mountain then started to crack and pieces began to fall. "well it seems he'll come out soon, that's good means he wasn't too badly injured." he looked at Ayumi, "how do you feel about that?"

Ayumi smiled and turned her head not looking at him. "I feel happier." She said with tears coming out of her eyes. She was so happy Chase's wasn't hurt, but didn't want anyone to see her cry.

"now we wait, that's all we can do." he looked around. "imagine what it must be like to have to have complete control of your emotions all the time to avoid being in agony, must be hard." he said staring at the mountain Chase was in.

Ayumi looked at Lehran and got up. "I guess so." She said and looked at Chase's mountain. "I can't imagine anything like that." She said with a sigh. "Why did he love me if he loved Sage?" She asked him with sad eyes.
