[Alan :: Angel Grove :: Outside Church]

Free from Terra's assault, Alan had time to look around and take stock of the battle, which he did with an air of displeasure that would have been obvious were it not for the mask of his power suit. This distraction, if that's what it was, was doing its job admirably. No one was acting on his suggestion to check out the other side of the volcano, not that he could blame them. They were all well occupied with staying alive. Meanwhile, Kyla had a good idea (as expected of her, Alan thought) - she was probably the best suited to capturing one of the victims of Ooze's mind control, but was running into no small amount of trouble.

She'd manage, though. Alan was sure she would.

Dani was a more pressing concern. As of now, she bore the brunt of Terra's wrath alone, and Alan felt obliged to protect her, especially since she was the one who peeled Terra off him.

Alan pointed at the ground, counterspelling Terra's gravity field with an affected nonchalance. Then, continuing as always to chant spells under his breath, he rolled his arm forward, almost as if he was performing a strange underhand throw. A wave of flames appeared, poised to come down on Terra's exposed back as she assaulted Dani. Alan advanced under the fire's cover to close the distance between the two of them in case he needed to cast Regen on Dani

In the back of Alan's mind during all this, he was considering the issue of the other side of the volcano. Riku, it occured to him, was the only fighter currently unengaged. Riku, he communicated through his charm, would you mind checking out the other side of the volcano? The rest of us seem . . . busy.

[Riku : Angel Grove : Outside the Church]

Busy was an understatement. Kyla and Amy were fighting Yuffie and Axel, Alan and Dani had their hands full with the green haired woman... Riku's vision was blocked somewhat by Dani's smoke.

Are you sure? Riku said, the words traveling through his charm. Of all the Kingdom Hearts characters, he and Sora were the only two to possess their own Trinity Charms. As such, he had seen Alpha's message, but Cloud and Leon would have seen nothing.

He looked at the volcano, picturing in his mind the town being attacked. None of the mind controlled enemies had so much as noticed him (or so it appeared), and he had a clear run, an out. But was it wise to leave them? Did they need his help.

Riku hesitated, torn.

[Cloud : Angel Grove : Outskirts]

Cloud jumped back and away, keeping his distance once more, although the thing insistently kept coming back toward him. Cory's Summon didn't seem to be doing any damage, either. Cloud 'hmphed'. He'd figure it out, in time.

The summon vanished upon its owner's command. The bombs Cory mentioned were used at that very moment, coming out of the things mouth. Cloud went on the defensive, effectively blocking them with his sword.

Occasionally everything slips into hell. Cloud looked at Cory with a look oddly similar to the one the Earthlings always gave him, that creepy 'knowing' look, that knowledge hiding right behind their eyes...

"Yeah," Cloud said, barely audible. Cory was attacking now. "I know how that is," and then, louder, in response to the last question, "Can you?" he hid a smile.

The jump and downward stab was strangely similar to Cory's attack. Cloud, however, seemed to go through the Heartless, impossible as that may sound, and as his sword struck the ground a purple energy pulsated around him, pushing the Heartless back a few feet. It was getting mad now.

[Jenny :: Caribbean Sea :: Black Pearl]

Zexion's words struck a cord inside the musician; so the nobody didn't believe in them at all. He was probably getting a kick out of all their troubles, not that she could tell with his emo haircut covering one eye and his taciturn, no emotion thing going on. Jenny clenched her fists tighter, Zexion was always her favorite organization member and she was so happy when she learned that he turned a new leaf. But it was all a lie, a lie to lead them up to this point.

The replicas were coming now and although she didn't want to admit it, they were hard enough to handle when everyone did have their magical powers. How were they possibly going to manage this one?

Jenny shifted, bringing up her arm to clasp over her injury as she glanced over to Joe who snapped at Dawn. He was still angry about Rae, they were all still angry about Rae but it hit Joe the worst. They were the closest. Please don't do anything stupid...

Siren, I really need you right about now...

[Joe: Caribbean Sea: Black Pearl]

The male skidded on the deck as he landed, his arms getting scraped up against the rough wood of the deck and out of breath as a simple banish had winded him. His face tight, body still rigid with anger, the male picked himself up, panting heavily already. He hated being winded.

"You get a greeting when you deserve one, f***er." The male didn't move for another attack. Mainly because he innately knew he wasn't back up to physical par yet, and would be too slow to ream Ajora and give his face a bloody makeover. But he did maintain his feet apart, legs braced. He was still in a battle stance and ready, almost itching, for a good fight.

[[Louis : Black Pearl : Below Deck -> Royally Screwed]]

There was not enough time to react, with the sudden appearance of the dragoons pinning him down with spears, he had no choice but to admit defeat, lift his hand from his dagger's hilt and be led outside to regroup with the others.

Louis took one look to the side and after given only a glimpse of Ajora witnessed Joe flying across the deck like no more than an unwanted play-thing. He glared at Ajora with his one good eye, but said nothing. Under normal circumstances he might have considered trying to land a blow but without his magic he would only suffer the same fate as Joe if he let his emotions control him. Instead he followed the lead of the lancers to wherever the replica's intended for them.

"You get a greeting when you deserve one, f***er."

Louis looked at fighter and shook his head thinking to himself what he wanted to say out loud, Joe... swallow your pride. Losing your cool here serves no purpose. You're only making things worse for yourself.

"Well, how does, 'Greetings and Salutations.' sound to you?" Louis passed off the comment to Ajora tipped with poison in his words. Before he could comment further though, Jacob's outburst grabbed his attention.

"Alrighty. Kyle, Joe, Cowardly Nobodies, someone...What's going on here? Alien? Evil twin? Robots from another dimension? Clone? Why does this man in the finely pressed suit look just like Kyle?"

"That's because he's a replica, Jacob." Louis stated simply in reply, "This doppleganger, is one of many doubles of several members of the group you see here, as well as some that previously separated from this group. How they came to be... I'm still a bit fuzzy on that topic... but the bottom line, and most important thing you need to know about them is they are powerful. Far more powerful than you or I, or anyone on this ship. I had the," Louis paused, "pleasure... of facing this one before. He barely broke a sweat and managed to defeat myself and my friend in a single blow..." Louis gave Jacob a sharp glance out of his clear eye, "Try not to do anything rash..."

{Kyle : Angel Grove: City Streets}

So Demyx was helping too? Awesome. Granted, he couldn't actually see cowardly Nobody, but he didn't expect to see him until the battle was over. Axel didn't seem to be a fan of the water though. And Kyle just couldn't get through Axel's defense. And after just a few parries Axel was gone again, disappearing to attack someone else. Not that Kyle had time to worry about him. He had somebody appearing right behind him. Wonderful stuff.

Twisting his body to escape the strike, he found it considerably easier when he was under the influence of Haste. Still, Yuffie was incredibly fast. He got a pretty decent cut across his side, but he tried to ignore the pain that went with it. Keeping the momentum from turning still going, he struck out with his katar in an attempt to get a powerful blow on the possessed ninja. Even if it connected, Kyle didn't intend to continue his attack with his blades. Instead, he would drop to the ground and strike out with his leg, trying to trip her up. If he was successful, he would plunge both katars into the, hopefully, falling Yuffie.

At that point, he wasn't so much trying to fight to capture. He doubted he would be able to hold back and still manage to win. And, hey, surely they would have survived some pretty serious injuries. And if they were incapacitated...well, they couldn't bother them then.

[Terra : Angel Grove : City]

Terra had very little time to react as the smoke covered most of the area around her. She felt the magic from Alan's spell. In the corner of her eye, she also saw the chakram that was coming from one side, and the girl. Being near the ground, Terra rolled to her forward, to allow the weapon and spell to collide, and cover her from the attack the girl was trying to make on her, but Terra was soon hit head on by Seymour's thunder spell.

The woman fell to her knees as the shock stunned her for a few moments. Terra soon cast a Cura spell on herself and Beatrix to help them both recover from the spell Seymour unleashed. She soon began to stand once more and glared in the direction of the three, her eyes narrowed as they landed on Seymour.

"Go away...." Terra whispered as she cast a Flare spell at Seymour, Dani and Alan.
