xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxUser ImageMy first real date, my first real dance...

Sora gave a nod as Kairi backed up what he’d said to Riku. She said that even though they were here to have fun, they would have to keep their eyes out for any trouble. This was true, and he would make sure not to let his guard down completely all night, for the sake of his friends. He waited another moment to see if Roxas would reply, which of course he didn’t. He gave a sigh and gave up, but left his link open just in case the Nobody decided to contact him. He looked to the side as Quest decided it was time for them to go inside and she seized Skyler’s hand and pulled her inside. It wasn’t long before the blunette came back outside, but walked away from their group, as if she needed some time to be alone. He was about to go over to her and make sure she was okay, but Blaise came out to her side. He decided that the two would probably want to be alone. He started to turn away, but that was when he saw Xia staring at the couple in a forlorn manner. He frowned slightly, knowing that she probably felt out of place like she’d said earlier. He wished there was something he could do to make her feel better.

However, before Sora could make a move, Olette came over to him and Kairi after talking to Axel and asking about Roxas. She had started to mention a name to him, but had stopped and that was when she’d come to them. She pulled out her munny pouch that she had made and pulled out glass marbles and showed them to Kairi. A smirk crossed the brunette male’s face as he saw the items, knowing that back at home, somewhere in his mess of a room, there was an identical pouch with an identical blue marble and 5000 munny inside. It was the data version of it, of course, but it was still sentimental to him, because he knew it had meant something to Roxas. Olette explained that the marbles could become key chains to add to a Keyblade to change its appearance and abilities, which he found interesting. He would have to remember that and try it out sometime. She reminded everyone that whether they had hearts or not, they were still friends. She gave a hug to Kairi and himself, then spoke to Lakayna for a moment before returning to him. She told him that she remembered what had happened in the digital version of Twilight Town for some reason. He stared at her incredulously for a moment, then nodded.
”Okay, we’ll talk about it sometime tonight,” he assured her. ”When Roxas gets here, we’ll come over and we can talk, okay?” He smiled at her, knowing that it would be good to talk about it.

Sora turned to see that Xia was no longer outside. No doubt she’d gone inside to avoid looking at Blaise and Skyler. He walked over to Kairi and took her hand.
”Well, come on, let’s go inside.” He figured they’d waited long enough, and it was time to get in. He started to pull her towards the building when a sudden shock ran through his head. He winced slightly and his free hand snapped up to his forehead. Just for a second, it felt like there’d been something there, someone… speaking to him. A smooth, female voice, as if trying to entrance… He had to stop thinking about it. There was something strange about what had just happened. He was wary again, not knowing if it connected to the day’s earlier events or not. He sure hoped not. He hoped it didn’t have anything to do with Roxas either. His grip tightened slightly around Kairi’s wrist and he started to pull her towards Destiny High without another word.

Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

The ravenette couldn't help but blush at the Noboy's compliment. Her eyes darted to the hem of her dress. Her non-existant hear was all a flutter now. "Thanks, Roxas. It means a lot," she whispered. Xion looked up smiling, her eyes brightly lit despite the lack of lighting in the area. She really wished Roxas remembered her. Whish that he knew her and knew the feelings she had for him. When he held his arm out to her she blushed yet again and took it, lacing her small arm with his. She had to pick up her dress in her other hand as they went off to the dance.

Riku
Mr. Gorgeous "Dark One"

He nodded to what Sora and Kairi said. IF the two were together, that was for the best. He remembered what they had been like before. Maybe they could get back to that. The silvernette grinned when Sora told everyone to head inside. He held his arm back out for Naminé and when she took it went inside following his two best friends. Riku stopped dead in his tracks when Sora did, the brunette throwing a hand to his head. He looked down at him in worry and confusion. "Sora, hey? Are you okay?" he asked.

He didn't get much of a response. The Keyblade Master only towed himself and Kairi into the school. Riku followed with Naminé after them. He was concerned about his friend at this point.

Kairi smiled as Riku nodded to what she and Sora had said. The Princess then looked to Olette as she turned to her and her boyfriend saying she needed to run. Before leaving though she pulled out her munny pouch and handed it to Kairi. The brunette explained that inside were marbles from the trophy Hayner won at this year's Struggle, and that an old friend had made them special and magical. She told the crimsonette that they have magic in them and for her to give them to her friends. Olette said that there was also a smaller bag inside the pouch that had key chains to place the marbles in and attached to their Keyblades. The Twilight Town girl said she explain more later, and for Kairi to remember for now that the marble for her was the one that was her favorite color or the one that just felt right. The red head gazed at the pouch then beamed to Olette. "Wow, I don't know what to say. Thank you so much Olette!" Kairi grinned as the bright brunette hugged her then Sora. She nodded in agreement as Olette stated to everyone that wether they had hearts or not, they all had feelings and were friends.

As Olette went to say something to Sora, Kairi opened the pouch and looked at the marbles inside. She pulled one out and held it up to the moonlight. It was a beautiful pink one. The Princess thought back to what Olette had just said. This was one of her favorite colors and it definitely felt right. This one was for sure the marble for her. The red head smiled, put the pink marble back into the pouch, and put the pouch in her purse. She'd remember to give the other marbles to her friends later.

The crimsonette grinned as the Keyblade Master came over to her and took her hand, telling her they should go inside.
"Okay," Kairi nodded. The brunette had begun pulling her towards the school when he suddenly winced and his free hand shot to his forehead. "Sora! Are you okay?" the Princess asked worriedly, a frown forming across her face. Behind her, Kairi heard Riku too ask Sora if he was okay. Kairi peered up at Sora with concern as his grip around her wrist tightened slightly and he continued pulling her along.

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

I wished for love,
I recieved lonelines.

Tesqux crossed her arms, a bit cross at being pushed around. Oh sure, she was the Nobody of the group. The one without a heart. Yeah right. If only they knew that she, in fact, did have a heart. However, her own words surprised herself. "Well, no questions here." She said, eyes still slightly wary. However, she scowled and uncrossed her arms when Aros reminded her of her status as a new nobody. "I'm not that new. I was just....Recreated." She muttered. "I won't draw attention unless it's with Quest, and she doesn't even know I'm out here yet." She scoffed. "Oh sure, look who's talking about noticing little details." She added crossly to herself. "Dibs on Riku!" She chirped, suddenltygetting excited. Oh she couldn't wait to see the look on his face when she spilled everything about Quest to him!

I said forever,
I got never.

The difference between life and death is a split second....

Kiera kept her calm and steady gaze as she listened to both the woman and Aros. "No." She said in answer to her question and nodded in agreement. She didn't bother scolding Tesqux for speaking out of line, since she didn't have total control of her like how Ruxik and Aros were. Tesqux had her own free will. Tesqux wasn't a puppet like Aros thought. And soon both her and Tesqux would take care of Quest like she had originally planned and leave the others to their fate. Of course, it would be so much more pleasant if the Light wielders knew Quest's dark little secret before they went. It made the pain of betrayal and loss so much more sweeter for her. "Quest is mine." She said in a low hiss. She would be forced to see all the people she tired to protect crumble at the mercy of the Darkness. And then she'd be willing to come back with her. They always did in the end.

The difference between you and me?
I'm going to live.

RUXIK

Ruxik stood back, acting as nothing more than a shadow which was nothing unusual for him. It was the way the blank Nobody was. His Heartless eyes only watched the others speak and mingle, listening and picking up new names here and there. The whole while he was at Aros' side loyally, ready to obey any whim the man had. The violette's eyes snapped up upon the entrance of the hooded woman. Something was familiar about the strange woman. He listened to what she and Aros had to say. With each word she spoke towards the Anybody disrespectfully, his face twisted some with the emotions that weren't there.

When the strange glow came from beneath her hood and she ordered his Master, he became enraged with the mirrored feelings from his Other. His hand came down on the man's shoulder like a phantom before he took a single step forward. There was a galre in his eyes. "You do not have the right to command Aros," he hissed at her monotonously. Ruxik dropped his hand from Aros. "You don't have the power to. He's more than you, has more Darkness than you. Obviously, you can't even comprehend that. We'll be going by his plans unless he says otherwise, of his own will and not some glow in your eyes."

Skyler moved her hands from her face and smiled,"Thanks." She said calmly. She moved her head to the side just barely noticing Xia closing the doors. She looked down at her dress,"We should hurry and go back to the dance. She said. She moved around him blushing behind his back. She opened the doors and disappeared in the crowd. She then was close to the dance floor when she saw Xia dancing. She smiled and watched her friend.

User Image"Good. Now wake up," she said as soon as Aros repeated what she said to him, pulling away when he snapped out of the trance and her eyes faded. She then looked at Ruxik as he stood up to defend his master and smiled. "Of course. How rude of me," she said, taking humor in the Nobody's actions. "When the lights go out in the gym, take your target of choice into the portals I will provide. Do with them what you will after that. We don't have much time. You all better get to the dance," she said with a smile as darkness swirled around her and disappeared within it.

Naminé
Miss Memory Witch

Naminé smiled at Riku, a blush forming on her face when he told her she was beautiful. She was about to thank him and comment on how handsome he was -- handsome didn't even cover it, Riku was drop dead gorgeous -- when the silvernette suddenly stepped foward and took her in his arms, his lips capturing hers in a kiss. Naminé blushed deeper and closed her eyes, kissing him back. When he pulled away, she smiled up at him and intertwined her fingers with his. The silvernette led her from her house and to Destiny High, and it didn't take long to spot their friends. Naminé released Riku's hand when she saw Kairi, and the silvernette went to his best friend.

Smiling at Kairi, she looked at the outfit her Somebody wore. "You look gorgeous, Kairi! Like the true princess you are." Naminé complimented, her tone sincere as she beamed at her Someobody. When the Princess told Naminé how she looked, the Memory Witch smiled shyly. "Thank you." Olette came up, causing Naminé's eyes to widen. Olette. From Twilight Town? Did that mean Hayner and Pence were here? So, Olette had moved here? Naminé didn't say anything to the girl as she knew Olette didn't know her. But it was nice to see a familiar face back from the old days. A friendly, familiar face. Olette soon left after handing something to Kairi and going off to tell something to Sora. Wow. Olette had given Kairi the marbles of the struggle trophy to give to her friends. She was worried... was something off? Naminé pushed the thought from her mind. Now was the one night where she wasn't going to worry about everything. Tonight was the one night where she and her friends could finally enjoy being together without any worries.

But her thoughts then strayed to something Sora had said earlier. Something about Xion and Roxas getting together. If they did... it would be for the best. Xion and Roxas had had a really close relationship... and Naminé had helped take that away from them, even though it was ultimately Xion's choice. The Memory Witch hoped Roxas would remember, and that he'd realize he did love someone else than just her. It hurt to think of Roxas with another girl because a part of her loved him the way she loved Riku. But she'd made her choice and she honestly couldn't think of any girl aside from Xion who deserved him and whom he deserved as well.

She was pulled from her thoughts when Sora stated it was time to go inside, and he reached for Kairi. Riku held out an arm for Naminé and the petite blonde smiled, reaching out and lacing her slender arm with his. The group began to head inside but they hadn't gotten very far when Sora suddnely stopped and put a hand to his forehead. Naminé froze, instantly thinking something was wrong with Roxas. They'd hadn't heard from him all day... but Sora didn't say his others name or anything. So it wasn't Roxas, right? Worry for her best friend pulsed through her but she had a feeling it wasn't Roxas. But something else. Something to do with his memory? Tentatively, Naminé reached out with her power and brushed across Sora's memories. Nope, nothing missing. She quickly pulled out of them and frowned, worried for the Keyblade Master. Riku asked if he was okay and Kairi did so as well, but Sora had resumed his stride and continued to pull Kairi along.

Naminé turned her head to look up at Riku as the couple followed after Sora and Kairi. "Whatever happened had nothing to do with Roxas. Nor did it have anything to do with his meomories. I checked." Naminé glanced away, back to Sora then looked up at Riku again. "He'll be alright. He always is. And he's got all of us to make sure he stays alright." She said gently, trying to appease Riku's concern for Sora, though she was concerned as well.

Not long after Rikia had given her speech on the boys, Aros appeared, stepping out of a dark portal. Looking completely dashing in a tux. Rikia simply smiled, her eyes going down to the rose he held in his hand. When he commented to her, calling her sweetheart, she gave a musical peal of laughter. "There's nothing sweet about me, darling. Remember that." She said with a wink. Turning her back to him, she looked to Tesqux, feeling like she and the Nobody were going to get along just fine.

Aros asked if they all knew the plan, and Rikia grinned, turning her head away from him, a look of amusement playing across her delicate features. She had yet to tell Aros of her own plan. Well, not her plan, but hers and her accomplice's. A plan that would work to the benefit of them all. Just before Aros could start on his plan, Rikia felt a dark presence; a familiar one. Lifting her head she turned to see a Corridor of Darkness appear, and out of it stepped her familiar accomplice. Rikia smiled, her fangs gleaming. Rikia watched as Aros exchanged banter with the witty figure. His plan hadn't been that far off the mark from theirs. Hmmm. Maybe he was more intelligent than she'd originally led herself to believe.

Aros argued back with the cloaked woman but it really was to no avail. While the two dealt it out, Rikia sighed and turned her eyes back to the light bearers, her crimson eyes holding a hungry look as she gazed down upon Kairi. Soon. Soon she'd have her heart. Rikia only looked up when she heard the strange tambre of her accomplice's voice. The one she used when using her hypnotic powers. Rikia herself had never been hypnotized. The cloaked woman had never tried but the Dark Princess believed that it wouldn't work anyway, as long as she covered herself in an illusion ahead of time. Rikia's crimson gaze held a look of interest as she watched Aros repeat the information given. After he'd done so, he snapped out of it and agreed to play her little game. Rikia simply smiled. Oh, Aros. When would he learn that he wasn't the only controlling factor in the Darkness?

Rikia turned to her accomplice, already going over the plan once again in her mind. She knew what she was to do. And now the others knew how they could help as well. Looking around, it was clear to the Dark Princess that no one in the group particularly enjoyed being bossed around. Yet they all seemed to agree on it. Tesqux became really excited, calling dibs on Riku. Kiera seemed interested in Quest. Hm. Was there an old friendship there, a friendship torn apart by Darkness? Rikia's smile was knowing and amused. Tonight was to be great fun indeed. "Kairi is mine, of course. Anyone else touch her and I'll personally guarantee that you will die and not come back. At all." Rikia said in her bell-like voice. The pixie-like girl smiled, a smile that was both chilling and hauntingly beautiful as she gazed at the members of the group, her tone having been that of an order and not a request. Kairi was hers.

Turning to Ruxik, she listened to him speak and laughed as he instantly became enraged at the way his master had been treated. "Relax, Ruxik. Aros agreed to go with the plan. Honestly, it wasn't that far off from his own. Just a few minor modifications. Your master is fine." Rikia assured the Nobody with a purr as she stepped closer to Aros, reaching out with a hand and trailing her slender fingers against his face in a feather-light touch. Oh, it was fun to mess with Aros. Laughing, she touched her index finger to his nose lightly, quickly tapping it. "You know when to go along with change, don't you, Aros? Especially when that change only furthur adds to the goal you're working towards." Rikia's bell-like voice was seductive and entrancing, and she smiled up at Aros. Pulling her hand away from him completely, she remained by his side and looked at her accomplice as she stated that they all had better go to the dance. Rikia stared at her face, knowing she was looking into her eyes even though she couldn't see beneath the hood. Giving the faintest of nods, Rikia watched as she dissapeared. "Right. Well, let's go cause some mayhem, shall we? Ladies, Gentlemen... Let's make this a night our heroes are never going to forget." Rikia chimed with a malicious laugh. The pixie-like girl waved a hand, a corridor of darkness appearing. Stepping back into it and beckoning the others, she travesered it quickly and came out around the corner of the school, hidden from sight from all the other students piling into the dance. Hidden in the shadows, Rikia awaited the others to step out before she was to head in. She'd need to wait for Aros. After all, he was her date.

User ImageUser ImageHikari only blinked when Alexander started to laugh when he said that they would likely give Riku a medal for killing him, and she underestimates their dislike for him. To an extent, she could understand their anger towards him. He was the descendent of Xehenort, so it would be natural for them to assume that he would be the same way as his father. Hikari, however, didn't feel that same vibe. Alexander didn't seem to want to linger on the subject as he shook his head and explained that he didn't want that to ruin the night for them, proceeding to move a stray shock of hair from the side of her face as they took pause to look at one another. She had to admit, she suddenly felt rather nervous with him being so close. Not that it was a bad thing. She felt a little excited. But Xehenort had trained her well in hiding her feelings. She wished she knew how to break out of this rock hard shell of hers. "I wish for it to be a memorable night for you too, Alexander," she said quietly as she took his arm, walking with him towards the school gym.

The pyro grinned when Lakayna leaned up and whispered into his ear. "You promise?" he asked, keeping his arm around her waist as he led them into the gym where the music played. Coincidentally, a slow song was starting to play as the two entered, Axel grinned at the perfectness of the moment. When they were on the dance floor with a number of other students, Axel kept one hand on her hip and the other took her hand, leading her in a smooth waltz to the music. It kinda reminded him of Belle and the Beast, in a way.

The walk to the dance was silent for Xion and Roxas. Call it teenage angst, but Roxas's mind was still in a maelstrom of thought and confliction about this dance. He still felt that he should be with Namine. Choosing Riku over him was a mistake, and sooner or later, he was going to prove it. It didn't take long for them to reach the dance, Roxas soon seeing his Other just going in. Where had he been all day? "Hey, Sora!" he called, continuing to walk with Xion closer to the gym. His other looked a bit exasperated, as though he just finished having all his final exams at once. "Where've you been all day?" he asked, looking blankly at his Somebody.

Lakayna smiled softly. Of course," she replied when Axel asked if she promised. Axel led Lakayna into the gym wherea slow song had started playing. Some people sat off to the side, quietly talking or watching the couples dance. Lakayna rested her hand on Axel's shoulder while her other was taken in his hand. Tonight, she too felt like a princess; even though she wasn't really one; and Axel was her prince like Sora was to Kairi.

Lakayna wasn't the most amazing dancer, but she was good enough where she wouldn't be stepping on Axel's toes every other minute and wouldn't trip over her long dress or in the high heels. While they danced, Lakayna's eyes looked around the gym at the decorations once in awhile. They were so beautiful. Whoever had put them up had done a really amazing job.

Can someone without a heart truly feel?
Or are these feelings simply an illusion created from memories of a past existence?

~Alexander~
Heir to The World That Never Was

User Image

Alexander smiled down at Hikari, and then turned his attention towards the Gym where they were headed. "I'm sure that it will be Hikari. As a nobody I've had to learn to make the best of all my memories, because it's all I have. So, a night like this, one I am sure will be extraordinary due in no small part to you, should definitely be one that I will look back on fondly." The nobody carefully guided Hikari with him into the gym, and looked around at all the decorations. He was able to spot some of the others dancing on the floor and smiled. He let go of Hikari and turned his body so that he was facing her. "May I have this dance?" He asked in a cheerful tone as he reached out his hand for her to accept.

But, if these feelings are created from memories, doesn't that make them based in reality?
Whether they are true or not is unimportant, what matters is that they are not ignored.

User ImageUser ImageShe nodded to his musings as to his feelings towards making memories of this dance. She knew that she was going to remember this night too. As she looked around, she saw Sora, Kairi, Riku and Namine standing around off to the side. Part of her wanted to go and see Riku because she hadn't seen her brother all day, but she didn't want to leave Alexander too. Instead she took a deep breath and willed her nerves to calm. She could only pray that dancing was as easy as fighting. "Yes," she answered him, taking his hand and let him lead her in the dance.

Lakayna really did look beautiful with the dim lights of the gym and how she seemed to glow in the dress she wore. His feet seemed to know what they were doing as they glided along the dance floor, moving fluidly around to the music. "You really do look beautiful tonight," he said quietly. Yeah, he liked to compliment her, but he didn't want other people he was too much of a softie.
