Kai glared still, "Feh...I really don't want to just play into this freak's game...." He glanced at Shina and Kuroi briefly.. He only wanted to keep the demon prince alive to spite the memory of his creators, but with Shina it was just because he knew her longer then the others.

"Okay drop the philosophy or I'm so gonna cut those water things and watch what she does to you," Pixma was starting to get annoyed.
Diia stopped wriggling and settled down, her eyes fixed on the as of yet unnamed stranger.

Shina blinked, "It is unwise to attack one that is only asking of your worthiness.. It is a rare and enlightening encounter. If you choose to take his test, I can remain here awake and connected so that no harm will fall upon anyone. If there is danger here, you will be awakened to it.

"Wait he didn't say anything about sleeping? how do you know the test isn't ins some dark foreboding cave?" Pixma glanced over to Shina.

Your hostility already shows your disadvantage in the tests yet to come, We will see just how you and your group of chosen ones do. I'll especially be keeping my eye on you." he said, walking over to Shina. "For you're not quite like the others now are you?"
This was where Kuroi drew the line. He pointed his blade arm at the man. "Do so much as touch her and I'll have your throat." he said in a dangerous tone, being protective of Shina.
Debido, momentarily distracted by the sudden threatening, momentarily let her grip on the tendrils to slip ever so slightly.

 she returned her bow on her back. She looked at kuroi. she then looked at the man.
"i wonder when the trials shall begin". she mumbled.

Diia pulled her arms out of the tendrils, "hey bubbles," she called, "just a warning but when this is over I'm kicking your a** okay," it seemed Debido didn't want Diia to break this guys arms at the moment, she would wait.

"Kuroi!" She turned to Hito and Yuure and shook her head. "I can't just let him go alone....I owe him my life. You two stay here, I'm not going to pass this by." She teleported-which she didn't know how she did-to the camp where everyone was.
When she got there, she saw everyone prepared for battle. "Did I miss something?" She asked sarcastically as she walked to Shina. "Don't worry Kuroi; no one will touch her." To prove it, she created some ice spears around them.

Kai was now near a tree several feet behind the man, still holding his blades tightly. "Why don't you just start it already instead of chatting, or do you want to grab some tea and cookies and have yourself a little picnic.." He'd calmed down enough, but when Kuroi threatened the man, Kai raised the tip of his blades slightly.

Sugar was on fire--literally, she was ready for a fight, clearly, but she wasn't going to throw the first punch. This guy really irked her for some reason.

Even though the others reacted rather defensively when the man walked toward Shina, she felt compelled as if she were under some sort of spell or was hypnotized to answer, but she seemed slightly aware of it and was able to control to an extent what she said. "I am not for I do not wish to harm. I am a mere healer in this group of warriors." She was telling the truth, from all that she had gathered so far in her ancestral memories, she had yet to realize that the others weren't quite like her in that sense.

she looked over to shina, then to all the others. she sighed. she stared out to the side,
"you're all too quick to kill". not implying to shina she stood by shina's side slightly behind her.

"I don't want to kill the git, just make him wish I did," Diia said innocently, this was accompanied by some slight swaying and a giggle.
Pixma looked over to the new girl, "aren't we quick to judge, you've been here exactly... three minuets?"
