Raesha Physics is totally hardcore! gonk I originally started collage to pursue a degree in Astronomy--which is just physics in space. Trix--most collage students are pursueing a degree, but most classes are also open to non-degree seeking students. Like my boyfriend. He just takes classes for fun and to learn stuff he's interested in. He got his degree years ago at a different school. How long is each of your classes? You don't go to school for 11 hours a day, do you? @__@; No, no. Each class is 35min, but some are doubles (as in 1 hour, 10min). But I don't take every class every day. Oh, and we have an Enthics lesson which almost everyone complains about except me. What degree are you studying for then?

I intend to take some astronomy at some point, but my college only has two 1st year astronomy courses and no second year ;_; Which is okay, I suppose, because if I decide to pursue a degree in astronomy instead of physics the university here doesn't require anything but those astronomy courses and some physics. But still, e.e

Ahh, gotcha. Sounds like you take more classes at a time, but for a shorter period. I guess you cover more bases that way. :3 We have fewer classes, but longer. Also, we focus on each subject more. Like the sciences--I took an entire year of Biology, 50 minutes a day, every day. Then Chemistry the next year, then Physics the year after. Same with math--a year of Algebra, a year of Geometry, a year of Statistics, and a year of Pre-Calculus.
I am close to getting my degree is History with minors in Asian Studies and Foreign Languages. Asian History is actually my focus, but that's as close as I could come with the programs the school offers. Fortunatly, I only have to take like 4 history classes that aren't Asian, so I don't have to stray too far. :3

My high school Physics teacher did not at all prepare me for collage Physics. gonk

My high school Physics teacher did not at all prepare me for collage Physics. gonk Aaaahh ;_; I actually took no physics in high school, so I'm taking the little intro-Physics course right now to make up for that. I think it's a good way to do it, I had to do this with my math too because I didn't take pre-calc in grade 12 (I dropped down to basic math, bad mee!) so I had to take some catch-up courses for that, too. On the whole, though, I think I'm better prepared for continuing in math having taken it so recently (ie, all summer, hahaha). I'm all fresh and mathey!

Collage Physics must be interesting rofl
I took Physics for pre-uni ie college in UK terms (along with Math, Further Math, and Chem). I found it pretty ok, but definitely something I wouldn't do for uni. Chose a maths course instead, and I've been regretting since.
I'm horrible at subjects that involving a lot of memory work like History or Bio xd

*grins* I took English for my degree, I graduate on Thursday in fact. ^^
Thorn - Ha, my bad memory is what stopped me taking anything like history too... xd Though I would have liked to take history actually...I did enjoy my degree, a lot, I think a lot more than I thought I would. 3nodding

So what are you waiting for to graduate? Results? Coz if memory serves me right, my seniors got their results etc before the ceremony.

Our Art History course is being taught by a Philosophy professor because the former professor dropped out two and a half weeks ago. And after seeing our bouncy Japanese professor and our fabulously gay Speech professor I wonder what my 2D Design class has in store for me. Most of the staff is quite fascinating~ XD
Physics. Jeez, you people and your math. I can't do it! *shakes fist* Didn't help that my state is one of the worst when it comes to education.

I find Physics O.K, I mean, not fun, but, it's quite easy. Maths is harder.
And in other news - I may be eaten by bears in the forests of Exiter this weekend. (in other words - I'm going on my bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition)

Mathematics is difficult, but if you get a good teacher, it's not so bad. I liked algebra, even though I don't really apply it to much of anything.
Give the bears a cuddle for me. :3
