Fred is definitely guarded, he's intelligent and doesn't like to make needless gestures/actions, he plans things.

:3 Lol and of course. x3 The thing is Fred sees a lot of people marrying just to have babies- which is the requirement. Like Tom Riddle, who married a woman when he was older and had 2-3 children.

So he kind of distances himself and enjoys the casual encounters more because he doesn't really see love existing anyways. Not with his parents or his role models. But he doesn't realize when there is a deeper love either.

So it's pretty much an unspoken requirement that if you want to move up in the Corps you have to sleep with a superior. Tom Riddle is top of the chain- he's like 80, still as handsome if he was 40ish, has a few children- probably already grown and with some children of their own, but young ones because Tom waited until his 50's to marry.

Tom is likely a lifetime lover of Grindelwald. However he takes younger lovers as well, and enjoys.. giving them a boost and teaching them like Grindelwald did him. Tom only chooses the special boys.

And at first Fred treated sleeping with him as kind of a mission. At first there's being all slinky and having sex- Tom was by no means his first. And then Afterward's it's like.. Fred probably just tried to leave after, since that was what he was used to. But Tom riddle pulls him back down and even if Fred doesn't lie down again, he keeps a hand on his leg or shoulder.

It's uncomfortable for Fred because his family doesn't show much affection either. Just the way they were raised- his parents are cold and distant and put the most effort into raising his older brothers (Charlie and Bill and Percy, all his siblings are the same)

So he and the younger ones were left to fend for themselves somewhat.

Anyways, i guess they slept with each other over a period of a year or so- Fred's 17 now, I think. So from age 15ish to age 16ish. Eventually Fred got used to hanging around a bit and smoking a cigarette with Tom. (Everyone smokes, he didn't pick that up from him)

And usually he was rewarded by... being given pointers or taught a spell or something like that. Things that'd help his career.

Tom was all wavy black hair and sharp blue eyes and dark lazy smiles. Basically who he'd be if he hadn't grown up crazy and had instead become minister of magic or something.

Tom's never kept the Corps boys he sleeps with for too long- usually they get promoted onto better things and have careers to get to. Plus, Grindelwald is his lifetime lover as I've said before. His wife has her own lovers as well.

But Tom basically tamed the stiff, antsy teenager and forced him to lay down and enjoy the parts afterward because doing it and rushing away isn't nearly as satisfying.

Fred probably loved him and was afraid to say it out loud because of rejection. I can see him being afraid of being with Tom just because the older man made him want to forget everythign and just lie down with him forever.

And at the same time he knew Tom knew this and that It was Fred's own decision to keep sabotaging himself with these feelings or to pull back from them, become stronger from it, and move on. In a way being with Tom is kind of like one of the ultimate tests. You pass and then they know you've got really great potential. I think pretty much everyone who has passed Tom's 'test' probably secured a really great position in the government/army. Lots of men (and it's mostly run by men still) were Tom's former lovers. Or even Grindelwald's. O_o In the older days, yeah. or lovers of Generals who may have passed and the like.

Because I'm starting to think that the reason Frey's so down isn't so much because Josh broke up with him- it's that he likes Voldemort but is afraid to tell him because.. well...

It's a pretty big secret to be having anyways. I mean.. it's Voldemort. xD Godfrey is the type to get up to mischief but that's a bit much.

I think in school Godfrey only had time for Josh anyways, and always had to make time- was always studying hard and then when he wasn't he was trying to get Josh to/help him study.

xD But I can imagine josh being like 'don't even mention studying when we're hanging out' and so then he didn't. XD

Yeah and Godfrey's gonna be studying his a** off during the summer- voldemort's place definitely wouldn't be monitored for underage wizardry, and he'll take full advantage of that. xD

Wrawrrrrrrrr. *Cuddles Josh* I imagine Godfrey and Josh just getting together to get up to trouble and cuddle, for like, hours. Like Reg goes out somewhere in the morning and sees Josh and Frey sitting on the couch- Frey's sitting upside down and Josh's all flopped over and they're like listening to music or watching tv or something and he comes back hours later and they're still flopped around in a weird position, like Godfrey's got his feet all pushed up against Josh's face and Josh is drooling with his mouth open and they're sleeping. xD Awww cuteee.
