Well it's the reason they became witches and Wizards. Fairies+Humans=Witch/wizard.
Len on the other hand was exposed to Elvish magic from Lillie's mother and it helped him use his own inner magic.
Tabby was exposed by a Chupacabra to magic.
Ah the classes the never ending reason that I have issues with one subforum.

I always thought witches had a mutated gene or something xD

Yush. How to fix that?
Perhaps some classes could have NPC teachers until an rp'er comes along who would wish to take the role.

It can be a mutated gene, but usually exposure to a magical creature helps that along or having magic in your blood.
Well did Amy become one before or after Allie was exposed?
I still don't think that will work.

Before. Her powers were discovered by her kindegarten teacher.
Then a few years later, Andrew saw his grandfather's ghost.
Then Allistar realized her affinity for air. And then she got bit.
Eh, it might be worth a try.
I think sometimes a teacher isn't needed anyways, just the setting.

No. She was a magic seeker.
Her main job was to find kids with magical tendencies outside the veil.
