"Goodnight, Kaen." Cerri murmured, waving. "She said no thank you, by the way." she told Sten, nodding. "And I'm old and tired." she grinned, leaning in the door frame. "How are you?"

"He's the brother of my younger daughter. Kind of." Cerri answered, looking a bit bemused. "It's really very complicated, when I try to explain it, though it makes perfect sense to me."

Cerri grinned and stepped toward him, running a hand over the marble muffin. "This is pretty cool too. How'd you make it?" she asked, watching him.
