Lily only nodded, eyes open but sightless, the green covered by a film. Sighing, she traced her fingers over the counter, trying to pull herself out of the misery that had fallen upon her, and failing.

triforcel413 "Are you sure you're alright?" Arlen asks both of them. "Yeah, I just jarred my shoulder is all." Sapphire says bringing her arm up to uncousiously rub her shoulder. "I didn't face plant, which is a good thing." Sapphire goes over to the stage and downs the rest of her rum bottle.

Tomo walked in with a few bags over his shoulders. His cheek was bandaged and so was his entire right arm. "Hey guys!" He greeted, looking cheerful, but a little tired to say the least. He set his bags down and walked to the bar for some well-earned tea.

"I think I'm going to head to bed. That new trick took a lot out of me." Sapphire says unconsioulsy holding her right arm as she throws the bottle away and then heads for the stairs. "Night everyone."

Lily sighed and snuggled closer to Arlen, though she still wasn't very responsive. "Drink your juice." she mumbled, not sure if he had or not. "Night Sapphire."

"Are you alright Tomo?" Arlen asked, looking at the bandages with concern. "G'night Sapphire," reaching out with one hand he resumed his meal as per Lily's instructions.

As Sapphire gets out of sight. She gives a small little curse in some strange language that she's sung and begins to rub her shoulder. It was throbbing greatly and she was wondering if she dislocated it. Nothing could be done about it now. Sapphire crawls into bed, keeping her bad arm up. as she goes to sleep.

Tomo turned to Arlen and waved dismissively, "I'm a-okay. It's practically marinating in burn salve. I can barely feel it." He explained. His hair was significantly shorter than before and the fur on his tail had the velvet look of just getting shaved.

Lily sighed and began to toy with the hem of Arlen's shirt, then leaned down, putting her head on his thigh quietly. She was now practically laying down, and even stretched her feet out, taking up the next seat in the row.

"What happened?" Arlen asked, rubbing Lily's back, trying to cheer her up.

"Well, every year, Ritsuko-san and I run a show at the Spring Festival. Usually just magic shows and tricks and stuff. It's a mortal festival, so we can't use actual magic. Sleight of hand is very fun and difficult to learn, though! It's really quite an art!" Tomo blabbered cheerfully. He had picked up two apples and had begun to juggle them with one hand. "Anyway, I was in the middle of juggling my flaming batons when I saw this girl about to fall off a nearby stage. Guess my fathering reflexes were faster than my juggling ones 'cause I caught the girl... Just not the batons." He held up his arm. "My whole right sides singed pretty bad."

Lily, who'd been about to ask the same question, instead began to trill quietly. She was worried about Tomo as well, but didn't quite want to put forth the effort to form the words.

"Oh yeah." Tomo said, leaning against the bar as he continued to juggle the apples. "Not a scratch on her, luckily. Just a little shaken up."
