I think you'll be above Iruka since to my minimal knowledge, Iruka remained as a chuunin.

Rice or sand most likely @ Wild bill hitch c**k looking guy; Don't need any help but if you have time I wouldn't mind thoughts on how to improve my latest bloodline attempt it feels like it's lacking @ Tai; Sorry to hear about your bed time I guess I'll have to torment you another day XD

Google Special Jounin Narutopedia and you'll find a list. One of the special jounins would be the head of the torture squad...the one who gave Naruto his chuunin test about the 10 questions. Basically a special jounin is a shinobi who is at the jounin level in one aspect, but chuunin in others. For example, if you're proffession is Medical, and you know up to jounin level medical jutsu but you're severly lacking in elemental ninjutsu and taijutsu, then you could be considered a special jounin due to medical. There's other stuff that goes along with it, such as missions performed, but that is the general overview

*shakes fist* nuuu playing the friend card thats why i am having trouble picking between rice and sand Prince is my friend and he said he was the kazekage and Havik was trying to recruit me to Oto and they aren't super active so me joining would help them out a lot.

Rival Tai huh. I'm just trying to figure out which ninjas where special jounin. Ahem! Ebisu, Mitarashi Anko, Morino Ibiki, Aoba, Raido, Hayate, and Inuzuka Tsume are all Special Jonin. At least, that's all to my knowledge. @Blue: Should've checked Narutopedia for the full list but I'm too busy to do so.
