I never understood bionicles much. Legos were great, but Bionicles... were okay. I think I've got one or two of the first set, but then it kinda confusing.

I liked that they were trying to break into the Action Figure market, but stay true to the Lego roots . . . but they became boring rather fast. sweatdrop *closes his bedroom door where a fair sized shelf is full of Toa, Rahkshi, Bohrok, and a single Vahki*

The original white guy and the original black guy had the neatest-looking weapons.
Yeah, Talon. Now they're into Knight's Kingdom and Exo Force. They should just stay out of medieval times and mobile suits altogether (as far as making specialized technic pieces goes, because using the classic pieces is cool).

I like the exo force . . . have most of the ones available near here. They use very few specialized pieces . . . sweatdrop

Really? I speak of any technic pieces. Anything apart from the classic lego pieces is specialized to me.
As for bionicle, I lost interest when they started up with the disc and ball launchers.

Well, there are only two sets that really use anything other than mostly normal pieces. One is a base, the other has a very 'handgun' like feel to it as it is a flying charecter "Sonic Phantom", and the technic pieces at a LOT of stability to it. In fact, overall the only real specialized pieces are the lightbricks, and light conduits that are common to just about every set.

man, I haven't been on gaia in AGES...cause I've been doing college essays and finals and all that good stuff...I feel a bit rusty...but I'm glad i'm back...all the roleplays I was in are gone though...that just...SUCKS...
