I entered a couple banners as well, but according to the voting I guess people dont like them to much sad Awww... I would ask you which are yours, but thats against the rules. exclaim

So I realized this morning that my addiction to Snape/Hermione fanfics is prolly going to fail me on my math test Tuesday...and that staying up til 4 scouring Photobucket for some sexy HP icons does not help me get to Spanish class...
Anyone else like this too?

Walks in and looks around. "So this is where I'll be staying these next seven years. Nice and dark, I think I'll do well here."
I'm Lelandra, just got sorted into Slytherin. My sister (Umi Pryde) is in Ravenclaw so hopefully you won't pick on me too much if we occasionally are seen in the Great Hall chatting. I'm the elder sibling, and yet she joined and got sorted first.
What I do look forward to, is making some icons from photos of me and such because my High School colors were in fact Emerald Green and Silver. We even had a Firebird(phoenix) mascot. (And for the bigger jokes, the only other high school in town had a lion mascot and red and gold as their school colors. And no, I'm not making that up. Lots of HP jokes during spirit weeks. good times. ^_^)

Wow Lelandra, I would of loved to attend your high school!! It sounds like a lot of fun. And Welcome To the Slytherin Common Room! Another thing your post reminded me of... Rping in the common rooms! What ever happened to that? I miss it. The Throwing books and tripping people.... Those were good times.

(you might want to rephrase that, you sort of changed narrative pov on that and it makes reading fairly interesting.Not to be mean, I'm just saying it reads funny.)

((Just a note. I always Rp in third person. An unbreakable habit, but I'll try narrative style, just don't kill me if I relapse . Also I am a fourth year, it just hasn't been changed on the Roster. biggrin . ))
I twist around on the couch so I can better see the first year. "Hi! I'm Autumn, a fourth year, and Welcome to Slytherin." I smile, and as an after thought add. "Dont worry, we dont bite...hard."

Sorry, I think you miss understood me. It's fine to RP in third person, but that first post switches from first, to third, to second person - which is why it reads so weird to me.
Not everyone has to RP in first person. I do, but you all don't have to.
"Yeah, just got sorted." I reply to the first girl. I turn to the second girl, Autumn, and nod my head up in recognition. "Hi. Thanks. So long as I can bite back I don't think I'll mind the biting." I walk forward into the room more and head towards a seat near the fireplace.
So anyone into reading or writing fanfiction? Or anime and manga?

I am writing a couple of fanfics on different things. ((Look me up on Fanfiction.net!! Trappedintheattic)) But I'm a bit stuck on all of my storys.
And my friend is making me watch Marmelade Boy. In Japanese, with subtitles. And I read alot of Manga.(Thank-you Mangafox.com!)
I guess its back to third person. Its easier for me.
Autumn turned back around, reaching for the book she had dropped earlier. She opened it and resumed her place on page 24.

"Avigail" I say as I walk over to the bookcase and look for one of my favorite books. I write alot. Havent posted much of my fanfic's. I've been writing a book with my sister and best friend and actually have a publisher that is intrested in it! Its exciting! I dont think my year is changed on the roster either. I've posted almost 100 posts here though, so it should change soon; hopefully.
