Keegan watched the battle, nodding approvingly at both Jaeshan's and Lisa's tactics. "They certainly are both talented trainers," he commented, rubbing his fingers over his chin. When the battle was over, he too caught sight of Ryka sitting by herself, looking a little miserable. "She doesn't look so well," he mumbled, adjusting his body yet again in order to keep Helios from sliding from his shoulder. "So, I suppose we should be getting to the gym soon?" he said, turning to Dante, his thoughts also turning to the cute outfit he'd stowed in his bag. Part of him just wanted to get it over with, while the other part wanted to forget it completely.

Miharu felt her heart swell with a sense of pride upon the Pidgey's capture. Almost instantly she rushed to the capture site and picked up the Poke Ball. "We did it, Lily," she said. "You were great!" Grinning broadly, Miharu knelt down beside the Bulbasaur to show her the red and white sphere. "And you even managed to overcome your type disadvantage too." She stood up again, and released the little Pidgey, who materialized in her arms, still looking a bit sleepy. "Um, welcome to the team," Miharu giggled, giving her a gentle scratch under the chin. "I think I've got the perfect name for you too. Aska." The Pidgey thought about it for a moment before she gave an affirmative chirp, and nestled down in her new trainer's arms, looking quite cozy. "We should get back to the Pokemon Center. I hope we didn't make Rin worry too much," she said, feeling a little guilty for running out on her so suddenly. "And Starrie needs healing too. Let's go!"

Miharu and company made their way back into town rather quickly for the well wasn't very far from town at all. The small girl smiled at the familiar sights and sounds of the small town, and many people smiled back at her. She's spent the last several weeks here, after all, so it was only natural that others would began to recognize her. Upon arriving at the Pokemon Center, Miharu was surprised to find Rin engaged in another battle. Deciding that obviously, Rin could handle herself, she quickly slipped inside the red-roofed building to get treatment for her party.
"Well, isn't she a fine girl," Nurse Joy said brightly as Miharu returned Aska to her Poke Ball. "A brand new capture. Congratulations."
"Thanks," Miharu said, her cheeks flushing a little. She picked up Lily and placed her on the counter, then fished Starrie's Poke Ball out of her pocket. "In you go," she said as she recalled the Bulbasaur as well, and handed the three of them to the nurse.
"This shouldn't take too long," the nurse told her before disappearing into the treatment room. Miharu took the opportunity to run over to the window so she could watch Rin's battle.

When the ding sounded, Ky's smile grew wide. "We did it!" he cheered, running towards the Pokeball. He picked it up in his hands and stared for a while. "What should I call you..." Ky thought.
"Na!" Little Guy chirped. Ky looked down. It looked like Little Guy was happy, but his body was shaking a lot, breathing hard once again.
"Oh no, you're poisoned again," Ky said, his smile gone. "Return!" Ky pointed Little Guy's Pokeball at him, a red ray bringing him into it. "I'll worry about a name later. I need to get you guys to the PokeCenter." Ky ran back in the direction of Crenu, hoping he hadn't moved too far. "I hope he'll let me borrow his bike," Ky thought out loud.

Kilik couldn't run anymore. He fell to his knees, huffing and puffing. His palms were down on the ground and his fingers were fanned out in the grass. Sweat was trickling down the side of his face and a drop fell from the tip of his nose. He was certain that this sweat was caused from nervousness and exhaustion. His leg muscles were throbbing. Never before had he run that much. Kilik stood up very slowly, but only fell back down again. He growled and slammed his fist on the grass. He decided to sit on his knees, and took a trembling hand to his pocket. He pulled his PokeNav from it and scanned through the numbers. "Kasiya. She's gotta stay outta Saffron, and preferabbly outta Kanto." He went to her name and hit talk. And she's gotta keep Mitsu and that cute girl away from here. He listened to the dull ring of the Nav, praying for Kasiya to pick it up.
Scizor looked over at the Misdreavus. Although part of her felt that she deserved to be attack, Scizor knew that they were all in this together right now. Steelix went in for another Crunch, and Scizor jumped in the way of the attack, protecting Anna from harm. "It won't do as much to me. Now go to the other side!" Scizor demanded.
Flareon was now showing signs of exhaustion. It burst out another Fire Spin before falling on its stomach. "It hurts to move..." he coughed, standing up slowly.
Weezing's eyes shot open and his pupils dialated for a moment. "Weezing feel danger," he spun around and looked towards Celadon City, "Weezing be back." The Pokemon floated away from the scene, nothing but useless against a Steel-type Pokemon. Weezing floated over the secruity barrier and spotted a person on the ground. "Kilik-friend!" The Poison type floated down to him hurriedly, tears forming in its eyes.

Scarlet was monitoring Nina very closely, going to the bed that she had been transferred to at least once every five or ten minutes. She smiled as she checked the psychic's vital signs again, and the continuous beep... beep... beep... which measured her heart rate was further reassuring. When she was convinced that Nina was stablizing, she left to talk to Jane.
Taken aback by Scizor's sudden protection, Anna did as the bug had told her to do. Loosing another Psybeam at the Steelix, Anna knew it didn't harm it nearly as much as she would have liked, due to its resistance. She was growing fatigued, and hoped that Steelix would fall soon.

Crenu grinned as he watched Ky catch his second pokemon. The weedle had given him a good fight and Ky deserved that capture. Congradulations were in order, but it was clear now was not the time as an all familiar expression was on Ky's face. "You know, Little Guy seems to have tendency for getting poisoned quite a lot. Maybe you should steer clear of poison types for a while, at least until you learn a move with range... or buy a couple dozen antidotes." As he said this and chuckled a little, Crenu heard a familiar voice call out to him.
"Well Well, if it isn't The Larvitar trainer from before. How ya been?"

"Hmm?" Crenu turned and say the Scyther kid from before coming out of some bushes to their left. "I've been alright. How's Scyther?"
"He's good and healthy, but he's not alone anymore. I caught myself a new pokemon not to long ago."
"That so? Who did you catch?"
"Heh, I could tell you, but I'd rather show you. Let's battle."
"Sounds great, I got a new pokemon as well. But let's make this interesting, cause I want another chance at taking down your Scyther."
"Is that a double battle challenge? Alright lets do it!"
Crenu grinned and turned to Ky. "I'm gonna be a while, and Little Guy needs attention quick. Get him to a center quick, I'll let you borrow my bike." Crenu took the folded bike out o his bag and slid it to the side. he then took a few steps back and Called out to Spinarak who jumped out of the grass to the battle spot. h then threw his second pokeball into the field and Larvitar appeared in a flash of red light. "Ready when you are."

Dante who had watched the battle with mild interest, the only real kind of interest that he showed anything other then Legendary pokemon, turned his gaze to Ryka for a moment. "She will be fine." He said after looking at her for a moment. "As for the badge, yeah let's get going," He started off to the southern side of the city where they gym was located. "Oh yeah I forgot." He said pausing for a minute befor throwing back a sly smile at Keegan. "You might want to change somewhere out of Jaeshan's imediate eye sight." Meowth thought about that for a moment befor he finally got it and started laughing from his perch on Dante's shoulder, Levi just didn't get it from the get go.

M.A. nodded, although what Mitsu had said about having it worse reminded her of what Kasiya had said earlier that day. Well, I guess if you're going to travel around, you'll get yourself in scraps one way or another. . . But I'm sure we'll be okay, the brunette thought, fondly looking down at the snoozing Houndour in her arms then the red and white Pokeball at her hip. We're together. And now, there's friends, too. She threw an appreciative glance towards the direction Kasiya had disappeared in, then towards Mitsu aross from her. In fact, all the people she had met so far had been so kind to her; it was the furthest thing from crossing her mind that out there somewhere, there might be people who weren't quite so gracious.
"I just started about a week ago, from Fallorbor," she answered, adding that they were rather new to this all, which turned out somewhat redundant. An easy, happy smile fell upon her lips as she thought of her warm, lovely little home town. "How 'bout you? Are you from this region, or. . ?" How wonderful it must be, to travel across regions like Mitsu, Kasiya, Kilik, and their friends must have done.

"A Spinarak eh? That's nice, but this is even nicer! Go Elekid and Scyther!"
The trainer threw both of his pokeballs into the arena at once. As they hit the ground, the balls opened and a burst of red light shot outwards, taking the form of Scyther and Elekid, both looking mean and ready to fight. "An Elekid... Lucky you finding a rare pokemon like that But I'm afraid it's a mismatch with my Larvitar. Lets get things started then! Spinarak, Poison Sting Elekid from Larvitar's head! Larvitar, get in close!" Soinarak jumped on top of larvitar's head and fired out a wave of needles as Larvitar ran twords the Elekid.
"Elekid, dodge! Scyther and Elekid, double Quick attack!" Elekid dodged the wave of needles and burst forward along side Scyther. The two streaks of white seemed to combine as they made contact, knocking Lavitar back a few feet before he regained control and regained his footing.
"Damn... they're fast. But we've dealt with fast before."

"Yeah I am. Mossdeep Island to be exact," she said a a bitter sweet smile found it's way through. "A week huh? Must be fun just starting out." Mitsu ate another couple of bites and soon the bowl was empty. Sapphire moved over to Mitsu, laying his head in her lap. She absent mindedly stroked his head. Deciding that her other Pokemon deserved a break from thier confined Pokeballs, she let them loose. Karri the Garidevior, and Ivysuar named Ivy, and the ever so mischevious Gengar, Ebony appeared on the scene.
Having spotted another person whom she was unfamiliar with, but who had seemed to make Mitsu's acquaintance. "Hello there. Please to meet you," Karri said though telepathy, careful to be polite. Ivy made his way to Nightmare who had seemed to resurfaced some time ago. Ebony on the other hand had some other ideas. As usual he seemed to have found his way over to M.A.'s shoulder, laughing through clenched teeth. "That's Ebony," Mitsu said sheepishly as she watched him give his usual greeting.

Helios shot Meowth a dirty look, and for a moment, even considered blasting him with a burst of flame. However, he did like Dante, and he decided against it. Keegan, sensing his Pokemon's thought processes, simply shook his head. "Yeah, yeah, just gimmie time to get psyched up," he said, glancing around. "Might as well just change back at the Pokemon Center."
Helios gave him another odd look, one that clearly stated 'are you bloody serious?' Keegan just chuckled and patted him on the head. "Who knows, maybe it will be fun," he shrugged.

"Alight, Spinarak and Larvitar, split up. Spinarak, into the grass, larvitar, charge forward and use Bite attack on Scyther!" Spinarak jumped off of larvitar's head and took refuge in the grass, hiding for the time being and waiting for the next command. Larvitar jumped forward and charged at Scytherwith his jaws open wide.
"Heh, that won't work and you know it. Scyther, Quick attack! Elekid, stay focused and wait for Spinarak to make it's move!" Scyther scied out and blasted forward twords larvitar again in a white flash.
"Now Spinarak, Constrict!" As Soon as Scyther shot forward, a white strand of silk fired out from the bushes and tied Scyther up, causing it to lose momentum and controll. As this happened, Larvitar leapt up and sank his teeth into Scyther's body, brining him down to the ground. At that moment, elekid jumped into the air twords the area in which the strong was shot from.
"Now Elekid, Thunder Punch!" As Elekid decended, it began to spin it's arms wildly, charging electricity and causing a spark between it's antenna. Elekid stopped rotating it's arms and slammed it's fist into the ground, sending a blast of electricity that fried the grass and created a large baren circle in the grassy earth that was a few meters in diameter. Spinarak came flying out and landed on it's back.
"Spinarak! Get up quick!" This Elekid was strong, but this match was far from over. Spinarak jumped up onto her feet and reared up angrily and ready to keep fighting. Scyther broke free of it's bonds and Larvitar jumepd back, gnarling as Scyther shook off the bite and regained it's composure.

Dante just laughed silently at the two. "All right then lets head to the pokemon center." He said as they headed over to it. "Oh yeah Meowth I have a TM for you to learn for this gym battle." He said as they made their way back to the pokemon center. "You can go in and change I will wait outside for you ok?" Dante asked not really waiting for an answer as he leaned agains't the wall outside of the pokemon center.
