-It had been a tough couple of days for Mimi and little sleep did not do much to make things better. Either way, the girl tried. She always did. Shutting her bedroom door behind her, Mimi made her way down the hall and eventually down those stairs. First thing first... Midori had left her in charge--clueless and in charge. Now, Duellist had mentioned something about the young owner having an office in the home at the cemetary. As much as she hated to do it, Mimi would have to access the records to gather what information she could get about anything.
Business was business and if Zane or somebody else came up to the Hyde in search of Midori because of finances she'd be in some trouble if she knew squat of what was going on.
As she reached the bottom of the stairs, she pulled a grey cardigan, hooded duster over her shoulders. It was getting dark outside, and had it not been for her thrown-off sleeping schedual, Mimi would have accomplished the task a lot sooner.- mrreeh

Mimi may have gotten a little sleep, Duellist may have rested well, however.. Hakan seemed to be in the worst shape in Jekyll de Hyde, physichally at least. He appeared as though he got zero sleep the previous night.
However, how was someone around him to know? He was 'hiding' from everyone. Where, might you ask? Beside the stairs wehich would lead into the hotel, much like a hobo. With his wings wrapped around himself, he would stare off into space, his gaze set to his shoes.
That's right, Hakan had spend his night in that excat same positoon. And what about that spirit which was dewlling inside of him? Whatever happened to her?
She was doing what she could to comfort Hakan. No matter how much he disliked her, she was there with her arms wrapped around what appeared to be a simply pile of black feathers.
"You would feel better if you killed them." She would whisper. Indeed, she was an evil spirit!
"I'd feel better if you left me alone." He would mutter quietly, trying to curl himself further into a ball.
"Shh, shh.." She would go about trying to comfort him none the less, like a mother cradling her child.
As much as Hakan hated it, there was nothing he could do to get the spirit to leave.

The simple thought of the task ahead only rubbed her the wrong way. It was her duty, however, and as a friend she was not to betray the trust Midori had in her. Though by the gods above, what had gotten into the would-be-boy? Of all the people why did Midori have to leave her in charge? Things happen for a reason. She reminded herself. Patiently, she waited for those sluggish doors to open. How they had been fixed, she could only guess...they worked now and that was all that mattered. Pulling the hood over her head, Mimi stepped outside, pausing only to take a breath of fresh air before continuing with the task. At least, that had been the intention of the lack of moment at first.. the fiant 'shushing' caught her attention. Frowning a bit, she let her eyes adjust and glanced in that direction. What she saw surprised her. - Hakan? -For a moment she had forgotten about the incident that had occurred on those steps a mere half hours ago. It was not until she approached the demon and knelt before him that the memory invaded her brain and for a moment all she could do was just stay there, frozen.-

It was so aweful! As if he didn't feel bad enough for what he did last night, he would now have to try to face her in his current, sleepless condition.
And as if Hakan's momentary silence wasn't bad enough, the spirit which stood behind him would glare down upon Mimi with glowing ruby colored eyes.
However, just before the spirit got the chance to speak up, Hakan forced a smile onto his face, and opened his wings forcing the spirit to disappear, much like smoke.
Hakan.. Sure, he was smiling, but his conditoon didn't look very good. His eyes were blood shot which may be from crying, but he also was up all night. There were dark circles under his eyes, and if not for the night time darkness one would beable to see how much paler his face had become.
It was with that forced smile that he Mimi with, curling up a little more. From there he would fold his arms across his knees, and rest his chin on his arms. "..Hey..!"][Good, good.. with Ryoko around things will be much more interesting. ninja -Sneeze, sneeze, sneeze, sneeze.. Sneeze.- =_='][

That smile was not the same goofy smile he gave her on most ocassions, nor the teasing smirk he used otherwise. A grim Hakan was not something Mimi liked to see. *Naj let out a sigh of relief. After two weeks of journeying, she had finally made it to Jekyll de Hyde. Of course, she felt kind've bad for leaving Hakusa tied up out there all alone in the middle of nowhere, but what choice did she have? If she hadn't done what she had done, then she'd have no peace. And that was a bad thing.*
Oh well. It's not like Hakusa is going to die out there. He always manages to free himself from my traps, one way or another. *The girl giggled at the thought. The last time something like this happened, the poor man had ended up getting humped by a goat.*
*Looking around, the young girl frowned. Now this place didn't look like any sort of amusement park she'd ever want to go to. This place had a dark feel to it, and the fact that no one was around didn't help matters much. Why would her brother choose to live here of all places? This place gave her the chills. Rubbing her arms, the girl began to cautiously walk forward, looking for any signs of life...*

It was strange, everything which was going was pretty much the opposite. Really, he was expecting her to just walk right by him, ignore him. Instead, he found Mimi sitting beside him.
He would give a small cough, before sniffling. If that didn't make it obvious, he would make an attempt to clear his throat, which only proved to make his voice come out much rougher. "All day."
He would nod, as if agreeing with himself. It was stupid of him to do that, especially since he'd lost his coat. No matter how nice they looked, his wings didn't offer much comfort, nor warmth.
Being out in the cold for such a long time, he obviously ended up with a cold. However, he didn't dare complain, he kept to shirt, one or two word replies to her questions. It wasn't that he was trying to get away from her.. His mind was simply clouded with many other things, such as.. Why was she there after what he had done?
His mind was so clouded, as well as his senses, he couldn't even see the new female coming.

Chewing on her lip, she proceeded to trace circles on the dirt beside her in an effort to clear her head and choose her words carefully. That, but it kept her vision busy on anything other than the boy. - Why? Its not as if I were going to cut your head off, Hakan....I am not mad, you know. -Indeed, she hadn't been and wasn't. Surprised and embarassed, that was all... nothing more. Then again, it seemed like she could say it to him over and over until she was blue in the face that Hakan simply did not listen. With a sigh, she got to her feet, a hand tugging at his own.- Come... let us get you inside before you catch pneumonia, for Bast knows you already have a cold. -And it was because Mimi had been so intent in avoiding his gaze, as well as everything arond her, that she had failed to see the newcomer arrive.-

The vampiric assassin leapt down from the observation deck, easily. He felt an urge to explore the park, and he didn't know why. Still, Taryn had made it quite clear to him that he was forbidden to explore the catacombs, and even more forbidden to send someone else down there.
He was, in short, stuck.
