Yas nodded eagerly, pleased at the opportunity to make a new friend. "I would be li-king that Mi-key." He bounced onto the couch, his innate feline grace saving the tea from spilling. He sipped, his tail curling around his waist.

Candycane Scartissue Are you sure? Misaki asked Nikolai, a bright smile. Alright! she said, bouncing off to the counter, silently wondering if Nikolai realized what he had asked and how it sounded. Returning with a drink, she set it in front of him, a wide smirk on her lips. Taji pulled Tempest into the slightly crowded cafe. It had been a while since she had been here. She looked over to her girlfriend with a closed-eyed goofy smile. smiled at her enthusiasm and bounceiness as she went to retrieve the coffee. When she got back, he tilted his head, looking from the cup to her smirk then back. "So what have you picked out for me? Or will you not tell?"Tempest smiled as she got pulled along, her eyes moving from one person to the next as if scouting out her brother. Since he wasn't there, she just shrugged and continued on, returning a lopesided smile to her lover. "What can I get you, love?"

Mikey smiled to Yas as he sat down on the other end of the couch. "So... how long have you been living here, Yas...?" he asked before taking a sip of his coffee.

Misaki giggled softly, shaking her head. You'll have to taste it and make sure I picked out something right for you, cutie, she said with a nod, taking another drink from her cup, which was nearing the bottom.
Mmm, Taji looked to the menu, her face twitching slightly as she looked for something good. I guess I'll just get a coffee, she said, giving Tempest's hand a light squeeze.

Nikolai raised a brow, still looking between her and the cup. It wasn't as if he didn't trust her. He just wanted to know what he'd be tasting. "Well, alright then." Carefully, Nikolai lifted the cup to his lips and sipped at the hot liquid.
Tempest tilted her head then kissed Taji's cheek lightly. "Okay then. Could you find us a table while I order?" With a smile, Tempest moved to the counter and order Taji's coffee then an iced chocolate mocha for herself. She also decided to get a couple of muffins to take back and share.

Leading Akki to a couch in the back, Kalan James sat her down and set himself next to her. Careful not to show how badly he just wanted to hug her, he started to speak haltingly, "What I told you online was true." Taking a deep breath and steadying himself, he smiled thinly, "You do deserve someone that can be here for you, and show you he loves you. I want to be that person," he looked in her eyes and stopped. After a few seconds; he continued, "And, of course, I'd like another chance... But you've already given me one, and it would be selfish of me to expect more." Looking down at his hands, he noticed he had taken out his wand and was fiddling with the end of it; looking up through his hair he gestured that Akkhina now had a chance to say anything before he continued on.
'Laus, beamed dangerously and laughed softly in answer to Bianca's statement. "Hm," he mused aloud and sarcastically, "I wonder how I could help you with that.."

Nodding to the door, he watched Bianca intently, "Shall we return to the apartments, or is there anything else you'd like to do before you're forced back indoors?"((same here. D=))

Yas sipped his tea, nodding cheerfully. "Yas just come now...may-be Yas stay, yes?"
Akki stared down at her hands, wringing the tightly in her lap as he spoke. When he paused she glanced up to meet his eyes, her own mirroring the pain inside. "I-I...dont know....I dont want to be alone anymore...."
She clenched her hands tightly at the hem of her sweater, fighting the urge to brush his hair away from his eyes.

Sighing, Kalan broke the eye contact. "If I can't have you, than I would rather be alone." Still playing with his wand, he brushed his hair out of his eyes and looked back up to Akki; "The adoption into my sister's family is finally complete... Even though I don't think we talked about that much, or at all."

Tears in her eyes, Akki lifted a hand, aching to touch him but not quite daring to. "I havent had you..not really. I've been so alone.....worse than alone. I cant...I wont stand and watch you walk away again."

"That's fair." Swallowing his pain, Kalan took her hand and kissed it as he stood up. "I want to be able to show you that you're all that matters to me, but you shouldn't have had to wait so long." Smiling thinly again, he bowed lightly, "It's your decision if you want to try with me again, I'm sorry I haven't been all you've needed. I love you Akkhina." Turning on his heel, Kalan walked away, stopping to throw the letter she had written him away.

Her hand quivering at his touch, Akki cried out his name, tears streaming down her face as he walked away. She jumped up to follow, her hand trembling as she touched his shoulder. "Dont go..." she whispered.
