As I was riding the bus today we went by the local gas station here...whatever it is called. Anyway I look at the prices and they seem all fine since I'm listening to Jimmy Eat World, but then I look back at them for a second glance and then just think "damn that's expensive." I then begin to think how everything has been going up in price lately, yet the American Dollar is lowering in value constantly. This makes me think of all the cost of living compared with dollar value stuff, but that is when I think of this amusing conversation between me and a stereotypical Conservative that went a little like this: (Please note that this stereotypical conservative is exaggerated, young [14 to 16 range]...and southern.)
Steven: "Man I hate this. It used to be when we had a joke about money it would be something like how many Pesos or Yen something was, but now you just insert American Dollars and BAM you have a joke."
Stereotypical Conservative: "Well at least they ain't French Dollars."
Steven: "Alright man that wasn't even funny, first off because there is no currency just for France, and second because you're making fun of them for not wanting to be a part of a pointless war."
Stereotypical Conservative: "Well...you're a f**."
Steven: "What is up with you guys and all the homo hate? To me it sounds like you have some problems with your own sexuality or something."
Stereotypical Conservative: "Queer."
Steven: "Okay fine let's just assume I am gay. Now what are you going to do to me? Are you going to take out your 12 gauge and shoot me, or would you rather just smack me in the head with a bible and tell me how either I need God, or that I am going to hell?"
Stereotypical Conservative: "...Whatever."
Okay so that might not have sounded as funny here, but I found it amusing. So are you offended yet? (If not just wait until V 1.53.)

Yeah, for anyone wondering why I haven't posted a comic up for a while is due to stress and junk. But prom is tonight, so I'll probably be back on schedule for anything that deals with art.
