There are many that would have lost interest in the pokemon or felt pity as it fell. Heck, the first moment that it looked at him in a happy manner would have been enough, but not Shiloh.
He saw the chance for what it was, and decided to risk it all the same.
Though Phoenix had already creep away from his leg. The sound of the crying pokemon brought her out as she would inch her way towards it. The poor pokemon had been harmed and it seemed to be quite sad.
She couldn't take that and like all babies when they hear another in distress, she would mean to amend it. Thus, she would clap her mouth over one of the Sunkern's leaves and use Magnet Rise on herself.
She was trying to pick the poor pokemon back up.
Shiloh's plan seemed to be sideways at the moment as he thought about giving her a command, but seeing she was already busy decided to simply let her play out whatever it was that she was doing.

Silentveil
As many a child would mid-tantrum, the Sunkern would begin flailing about the moment the Larvesta touched her leaves. Bawling and trashing, she didn't quite seem to know which emotions she was supposed to be feeling right now.
Floating in the air, the Lavresta would find that the pokemon had changed in mid attempt. It went from sweet and innocent to loud and demonic in an instant as she would open her maw and let he pokemon fall in her own bewilderment. It was a good thing that magnet rise only made a pokemon float and not full on fly. Otherwise, there would be a bunch of problems from this little shift as she just hung there in shock.
Shiloh thought about interrupting this little encounter, but decided still to wait. He had a good feeling that Phoenix was about to learn a very useful lesson as the babe just stare at the very confusing creature.
The sound would make her smile. Maybe, the pokemon wasn't so bad after all as she would move to show the Sunkern something more entertaining. She would open her mouth to use embers, but instead Phoenix would find herself doing it again as she shivering with power as she used magnet rise instead.
It took her by surprise as Shiloh would comment calmly.
"That pokemon just attacked you. It used Encore by clapping its leaves which means, that you are stuck using only that one move."
Phoenix's eyes would go round in fear and worry. Attack? She had been attack, but why she was trying to help. The metallic tint of her own move would go surrounded her as it tries to take effect.
(I thought as much, but this has to be a sort of cute ...not fight. Really, really strange.)

Now that she was heading back, things seemed a bit calmer. Hopefully they wouldn't run into too much trouble on the way back, she was looking forward to getting them rested up and acquainted with one another and the Poke-lot. Hopefully Lotad would be able to fill the water tank on his own, because it'd be awkward and likely uncomfortable for Lapris to get back behind her little home to the tank, but if not she'd be able to manage.
Watching the Larvesta rise once more, perhaps further still, the Sunkern would clap and laugh and bounce. Though it had none of the focus of her early move. Apparently the Larvesta hadn't realized the use of her own attacks!

Though the lack of attention on them is nice, she's not going to take it for granted. Who knows how long it will last until they are challenged to another battle.
Shinx huffs as he keeps pace with his trainer, pausing briefly to shake his paws out. He's tired, having been walking with her from the start and been in quite a few battles since then, but he's not going to complain just yet. That's what he tells himself until he stumbles a bit and catches Poppy's attention, who seems to register his need for rest. Though he makes complaining yips, she pulls out his pokeball and calls him back in a flash of red light. He can rest until they're challenged for a battle, she'll call him out again if Lotad has a type weakness to the challenger just for the bonus of his higher level to end it quicker.

Goals were a tricky thing, be they self-imposed or otherwise. It was easy to lose sight of a objective... and sometimes, it seemed that other forces were at work. As Alex trekked deeper and deeper into the center path, he'd find himself face with a most curious sight: a floating wall of pumpkins. A familiar image, that of a giggling Pumpkaboo, hovered before the wall before phasing through this odd structure. Pumpkins piled up high, knobby stems jutting out at odd angles. And from the size and sheen, these probably weren't ordinary pumpkins... well, if the "floating" bit hadn't tipped you off.
The wall seemed almost impossibly long-- indeed, while their was one side-path that appeared to lead all the way around the blockage, it was clear that the path would extend one's path even more. Of course, there was always CLIMBING over the walll, if one was feeling particularly daring...
It would seem at some point the girl had gotten turned around....either that or all Bunnelby were trying to dig burrows in the mud right now.

As long as its focus wasn't on her and it didn't want to battle, she was content to watch it passively as she walks down the path alone, hiking her backpack up to readjust the weight of the egg container inside it.
It wasn't funny. The Larvesta wasn't happy at all. It wasn't funny at all to her as she tries to lower herself to the ground as her legs would kick and she would go forward instead of down. Her own move was in full effect and it wasn't funny at all as the encore would seem to wear off of her.
(Not funny)
She would snap at the pokemon.
Her voice was childishly cute as the blush would appear hard on her face. It was embarrassing that her plight had become something funny and Shiloh would only shrug his shoulders as he heard her.
It wasn't hard to figure out what she said, though, it wasn't in any language he could understand.
"Wild pokemon tend to be cruel like that. They think it's funny when you are in distress, and though you want to help them, they don't want to help you."
Shiloh declares as he heard her sounds turn to distressing wails as she would start to sniffle. Her trainer wasn't sounding so kind about what was happening to her either as tears would form in her eyes before she started to cry.
This wasn't funny nor was this fun. She didn't want to be stuck using Magnet rise forever. She liked eating grass and she couldn't get to it if she was always floating.
"You know, you can make it stop."
Shiloh would declare softly as the fire type bug would start to hiccup as her tears stop almost as fast as it started.

Alice smiled gently at the snoozing electric-type. It was somewhat amazing to her that even amid all this chaos, one could find peace. But then, the Electrike had probably grown up with all this noise and excitement, so perhaps it was commonplace for him! Ah, the world was weird. She loved it. Smiling, she continued forward.
The Sunkern meanwhile was entirely oblivious to all things. This wasn't a cruel wild Pokemon, this was a child who hadn't been taught the difference between play or anything else! All she saw was a silly floating bugle, and so she would applaud with rhythmic claps of her leaves once more. Pheonix was getting another Encore!
