[Genjutsu Reduction of 1=3 for D Rank]

Attempting to practice genjutsu she had only one choice and that was a simple one, she had to practice on herself some how. Inside the dojo and academy there was a mirror room made specifically for genjutsu training. One would focus into the mirrors and use the genjutsu on themselves. Starting simply she placed her hands in a seal and surged her chakra to create an image.

Leaves appeared to swell up around her body as they caused her own person to vanish from sight in the mirrors. As the genjutsu began to take place she looked in both directions, however she felt nothing. It seemed as if nothing had changed at all and the purpose was merely to vanish, like a substitution.

Soon she saw the real and horrid image of two bodies, at first the image was undistinguished. Then, things came into view as the two bodies formed that of her mother and her father. Her mother was laying dead and her father was over her dead body blade in hand coming towards Kaon.

This genjutsu she had trapped herself in allowed her to practice a different technique. The other genjutsu she held allowed her to play dead per say, extenuating from being the trapee to being the traper. Making a seal in her genjutsu Kaon surged chakra to her mind, the source of the genjutsu in any shinobi was the brain.

All she had to do was to adjust chakra flow for a second and redirect it back at the opponent in the same manner. The same skill and strength of the genjutsu was key in chakra reversal. She capped her chakra flow and blocked the nodes in her mind for a small second as she canceled the genjutsu. Then she dispersed into flower petals.

The genjutsu was immediately shattered as she had escaped from it effortlessly and moved herself elsewhere. The flower petal genjutsu covering her own escape. Leaving the room with it as she went over to the training dummies for some Taijutsu training.

Kaon found a particularly unique style appealing to her, it was one of Bukijutsu and taijutsu, something like a melting pot trained how the user willed. It was something new that most older shinobi had never heard of or used. The Kiss of Flesh and Steel was her choice of physical training. Starting with some easy stuff she drew her sword from its sheathed position and struck out with an easy slash up and another down. Then bringing it to a resting stance she lunged at the target and thrust out her blade. Landing a sweeping outwards slash at the target dummy she sheathed her blade and took a step or two back.

Drawing in close to the dummy Kaon reached down to grab the handle of her katana, as she reached it she gripped it barely and pulled it outwards. As she moved outwards she let go and drove a quick back handed knuckle punch into the dummy before jumping away. A quick and easy trick attack using the opponents guard as their own weakness.

Kaon drew her weapon this time as she went forwards and slashed horizontally into the dummy. Spinning with the momentum she unleashed a spinning kick to the gut as her foot connected with the dummy. Her heel smashed into the wooden dummy and left a little dent in the slashed bits as she stepped back slightly.

Kaon next attached a little wire to the dummy and attached the other end to the hilt of the katana. Drawing into a waiting open stance she tugged the handle, this caused the dummy to spin at her and attack her. Parrying the attack, the momentum knocked her left and using it Kaon spun rapidly and released a hard back handed strike into the enemy.

Kaon coated her katana in chakra as she ran forwards and charged into the enemy fray she envisioned before her. Bringing her striking arm back she slashed forwards in a quick snapping swipe. The chakra snapped off the end slightly and whipped the dummy opening up defenses. That was her chance.

As she entered the opponents field of range she struck with low punch to the gut, ducking under the opponents open defenses to bring it home. Her fist landed in the dummies gut and smashed it to bits as the thing went flying in every directions. Sheathing her blade Kaon surveyed the damage she had forced and smiled slightly at it," Guess I did learn a little something from them.

[Taijutsu Reduction C Rank=3=3]

Kaon pulled out her sword as she kept a loose stance and ran at the dummy, she let loose a wide and loose strike at the dummies chest. She made sure to keep her moves swift as she struck again and again, the same style of loose and easily coordinated movements. Taking her sword she slashed upwards then down with a loose wrist flicking motion.

The combo ended as she slashed to the right one good time and then upwards with a slower and dragging blow. She stepped to the left and then to the right, then cross stepped backwards. The cross step was a failure though and she tripped herself as she began to fall forwards.

Using the fall to her advantage she brought her sword arm to catch her fall and ejected her empty arm like a fist. Driving it into the opponents face with the distance closed from the fall she pushed off the ground and flipped over back onto her feet. It was too easy to fool dummies, but it helped her get the gist of things.

Kaon went back in for the kill as she slashed at the dummy once and twice, then a third time. Her third strike landed dead for the dummies weapon hand and struck the jutting blade for practice. Pushing hard she attempted to make the dummy give way, but it did not work.

Kaon went at it again and smacked at the weapon a few times before she attempted to block the strike by locking weapons. She locked blades tight and then pushed off with a shield boarding parry style. The parry knocked the dummy around and pushed her back slightly and caused her to have to flip backwards.

Flipping backwards she extended her left foot out and attempted to smack the dummy with a heel kick at the same time as the flip. The foot connected and caught the dummy on the jaw as it went rolling onto the floor. She landed easily and gracefully as she took a moment to reset her footing.

Kaon drew her weapon swiftly as she ran after the dummy intending on trying different tactics. She slashed at the dummy from three sides before she sheathed her weapon and attempted to jump backwards into a dodge. As she jumped backwards she failed to catch herself and fell flat on her back, the pain went more to her pride than her spine.

Kaon picked herself up with a frown as she dusted off, she would just have to simply try again. Kaon ran at the target again and right as she got in range jumped back with her left foot to fall onto her back. She reached out to catch herself, but her arms caught and her elbows buckled. Once again falling onto her back, she flipped up and ran at the dummy again.

Kaon jumped back again and landed on her back, catching herself perfectly this time with stiff upper muscles. Kaon returned fire with a 360 spinning kick that lashed out at the enemy fiercely. Jumping up with a flip Kaon dusted off from her contact with the ground and smiled slightly.

Kaons next move required some practice, as she stood up she ran at the dummy with a rather large jump. Flipping forwards she attempted to attack by drawing her blade and striking down. As she flipped onto the opponent the blade hit, but stuck bluntly. Frowning she pulled the blade out and sheathed it.

The sword strike was not powerful enough for her liking. So she would try the kick this time. Running at the opponent Kaon jumped with a forwards flip and extended her leg effortlessly. Bringing it down hard from the air in a heel dropping fashion her heel knocked the dummy, but it was still too weak and jarred her slightly.

She only had one way to solve the problem and so with that she began to run up the wall using her chakra around her feet. Jumping down she performed several air flips and used the height to gain power. Flipping one final time as she neared the ground Kaon ground her heel into the dummies face with a huge drop kick. Bouncing off the dummy effortlessly she back flipped and landed gracefully. "Well thats a decent work out."

Kaon was only going to learn a few techniques from her mothers sword style for now, Shigure Souen was a slow process and a legendary style at that. Taking out her katana Kaon took a step to the left before dodging to the right in a dashing motion. Out maneuvering the opponent she went in for the kill and jabbed the blade into the enemies stomach for the kill.

The next movement focused on chakra as Kaon extended her blade and felt her chakra swell up inside of her. She extended it through her arm and into her hand as it exited the nodes in her palm. She molded it next to wrap up and around the blade as her chakra crawled up the handle a blazing red flame of chakra.

She pulled back and unleashed as she let her chakra go and swiped up, the chakra released in an upwards slashing wave. The chakra had two effects, one it was bright enough to catch the opponents sight. Two being of her chakras specific nature the slash mark relatively exploded in a fierce spark as the chakra lost its mold and burst violently. The distraction was significant enough for her to produce the next technique.

Getting in closer she weaved a little to dodge attacks and brought her sword up. Pushing chakra quickly up her arm and into her palm she coated the blade in a thin red aura as she slashed down next to the targets body. The red chakra leaked out as she completely missed and burst loose in a fiery mist of sparks and smoke to cover any motions she made.

With the cloud of smoke and sparks covering her tracks she could easily retreat and that she did. The mist had a second effect though, as her chakras violent nature caused it to blow with little sparkling crackles like fireworks in the wind. Because she was too far to control it the rapid explosions caused slight damage to the dummy. "Aside from the fact that could turn out to be useful, I guess its okay."

Now that she was done with her training Kaon had said she was going to meet with that woman earlier hadnt she? "Well I might as well go crash now." So that she did, gathering her things she took a final look at the tree before she headed away.

Yuugao wasn't unfamiliar with the tactics of a dual attack from two points. Since She'd been using her Nitoryu this type of multiple opposition was right up her ally to handle. As her and Asagao pressed close to Yuu's back as the two matching in appearance as Suzume and her own clone did would watch closely as Suzume would come in with a zig-zagin motion to attack them from either side of the team. Yuu would simply nudge Asagao a few times with spaces int he timing to communicate her intent all the same as if she'd been using the taping as she did before when attacking Suzume in the air. the plan was a one shot quick movement to both attack and retreat at the same time but it had to be performed in a bit of an unorthodox manner. Yet given their long term team work Asa and Yuugao had no doubts in their minds as they would ready for the incoming Suzume "team". Yuu wouldn't be shaken by Suzume's superiority any more she'd come to expect it much more naturally given the circumstances thus far.

Yuugao's response would be to eliminate the importance of the two pronged attack and attack both enemies at the same time wither two sword style. Her swordsmanship with either hand was just as good as someone with one sword and two hands drawn tot he blade. It was one of the benefits of her technique under the Santoryu's tutelage. Then also asagao had access to her abilities as well with his suggested form (beast-man allows four techs to be taken on by the clone partner. I'm using 3) . Though it was limited he could use some of Yuugao's skills and the nitoryu would be one that he'd draw on from his long training with Yuugao watching her style and grace with the twin blades. Leanig bac into Asagao and his stronger frame the Kangaoo given his far easier to balance body would stand on the ball of his feet in Yuugaos's form and then push himself into a spin as he'd lower his body into a 90 degree bow with the original Yugao on his back spinning as her was in the opposite direction the attack would displace their bodies from being a static target that the Suzume pair could easily read to hit. it was a motion which was set to disturb the surroundings, but rather of put their one position by moving about each other like an obstacle. Suzume's attack to asagao would me both his blade and Yuugao's as they's swipe acres parallel to one another with force to send her back off balance and as they were already in motion even with her faint in movement finding the new opening would be dificult as the two would follow up the physical meeting of lades with a quadrupled projectile attack which would ark around them in a circle as the two were spinning. These attack would fuse in chakra As Yuugao and Asa had trained to do critically improving their technique in levels above what they could perform alone. Simply pressing down onto the ground with a stretch ankle Asagao would jump into the air with a considerable fore as the power of the technique would seem to be come a rising tornado of force fairly above B-ran in probable force given their combination of adding rotational force and dual chakra fusing to make their attack grow in ability.

" Yuugao would only whistle out to Asaga as she'd remain silent since she'd been happy thus far with the way things had been going. She'd hoped to obtain her strike on the real suzume soon. And given her last attack the fake one would be gone since the attack would be that easy to dodge given their unique motion and projectile nature. Asagao's jump would play another part as yuu's feet would meet with the ceiling and she'd kick of the ceiling rolling off Asagao's back and meeting his blades so her could push her to her front where his feet where. Using the act of tree climbing the two would fuse they're footing together and then pull into close to throw their weight together to control their decent as they fell and spin about madly wither their blades jutting out and cutting madly trough the air. It was all improvisation but it would be set in motion meticulously to fall back down on Suzume with a ball of blades spinning at her.

They had not been thrown off from the looks of it, they even had a counter in mind to use. Both Yuugao and Asagao were really excellent students, possibly better than most of the genin in this village. Undoubtedly they would soon be ready to become chuunin, but in the meantime they had to deal with her. This sparring match had dragged on long enough. She had her own training and children to look after. The attack was indescribable, the Suzume clone was forced to retreat back and the real Suzume had been forced back by Asagao's attack. They were spinning, their blades moving about and obviously using chakra. They rose to the ceiling where Yuugao pushed off of it and towards the real Suzume, with both of their feet sticking together, possibly through the use of the Tree Walking technique.

Although surprised, Suzume was not ready to concede defeat and allow them a single hit. After all, despite how limited she had been with her techniques, she was still the teacher. Moving fast, just before they touched down, she swapped placed with her shadow clone through the Substitution jutsu that all shinobi knew. The shadow clone would take the hits and be destroyed, restoring full chakra to Suzume as she prepared for her next technique, getting into the ready position, one leg forward, the other back, a solid position where she would not be thrown off balance. Since the two had been spinning and would meet the ground just after destroying her shadow clone, she waited for the right moment to where their blades would be out in the open and ripe for attack.

Once she had a clear shot at one of their swords, or both if they were lined up perfectly. She swing her blade upward in a vertical slice, coming from below to up. A wave of energy left her blade, slicing along the dojo floor as it headed towards Yuugao and Asagao. If they were too slow to dodge, it would not matter, since it only seemed as if it were coming for them. When in fact, it would pass by them, harming nothing aside from the two's bokken if they were in the way of the slicing wave of energy. The wave would keep going, having a range of eleven meters, a little over thirty three feet. It would hit a training dummy and split it in half if it were in the way. It was a powerful technique, with the intent to send a message to the two of just how much power Suzume had now, and how much more she would have through training herself further. "Are you both okay? You've been using a lot of techniques that require chakra."

Yuugao had made it away fine enough and she'd been in full swing so to speak on the return attack. Though as expected her teacher would use something of one of the most basic abilities as a shinobi to secure retreat from the attack her clone was left with to handle the full brunt of the attack the clone would seem to die rather quickly and as they'd make some noise in hitting the floor the real Suzume who'd made her move to get away from the two would be set in a stance and prepared for an attack. The two genin shinobi, Tamer and partner weren't ready for what came next which was an arke of chakra that curved and ate trough the floor like it was nothing right at them. despite being formed sing a bouken rather than a blade the cutting force of this attack seemed to remain the same and the power would first hit with asagao's training blade before yuu's two blades would be sliced right trough as the two were in a light bounce from touching the floor not really sticking their landing. the attack would make the two both nearly stumble and then look on at their teacher with heavy breaths. Even Asagao had to admit his own weary body rom the length of the sparing match. Since it seemed to be without worth to proceed with dwindling abilities in this level of spar the two would have to concede to Suzume though it wouldn't be the last time she'd meet her students in battle like this.

Yuugao falling back into Asagao who'd slump down and lay his weight slightly over Yuu as she'd look on with a few beads of sweat dripping from her brow would only smile as she'd ask her teacher a question instead of answering her own question directly. " Well that depends, how fair is your own reserve sensei? heh. I may not have hit you but I did get you revere my efforts a little. I'll take that as a personal victory but as for the match I think it's safe to call this my loss. I'll keep practicing and improving my skill tot he point where we stand as equals. Here right now , my bodies beat tired and my hands are shaking from all the adrenaline but I'd risk it all again to get a proper chance to catch you with your pants down. Hehehe!" Yuu would laugh to herself as Asagao would seem to chime in his own voice as well. They'd both be taking in what you might call a losers victory. The earning of a plateau to reach. They were still ever so~ far away from being what they'd hoped to be but it all felt like it cam e into perspective with one match. It was almost a perfectly null effort of anything but bukijutsu. Yet they still did dip into other techniques here and there to balance out their efforts. Yuugao would laugh until her eyes became heavy and she'd seem to drift off into something of a light nap. Asagao would only stare on at Suzume after her was done "laughing". He'd been observing her but more over he 'd been conveying with his eyes respect and his own admiration for her abilities as a human.

Of course they would be worn out, they would have to be after making so much movement. While Suzume herself had used plenty of her own chakra, she had basically used only necessary movement and was only slightly tired. It had seemed as if her aim had been true and well timed, since her attack had cut not through just one of the wood blades but through all three. Before the two even spoke, it was obvious that they were too worn out to continue. Good, despite Suzume being nice, she still felt as if they should not land a hit upon their teacher just yet. Although admittedly if they had been able to keep going, they might of succeeded. Despite her skill, Suzume knew she had slacked off. It was embarrassing for her, but she would not let her students know that. It just meant she had to knuckle down and train all the more.

Smiling as both Yuugao and Asagao found the loss not to be a bad thing at all. She set the bokken to her side, into the sheath it came with before approaching the two. "Alright, I'm glad you enjoyed our spar. Although next time I think I'll use more than just Shunkan no Hagane and Shigure Soen against the both of you. Especially if you're going to keep getting better." She did get the message the kangaroo had been trying to convey and she nodded to him "Thank you, Asagao." Although she was distracted when Tokui started to cry. "Uh, one moment." Rushing over, she checked over the baby to see what was wrong. "I don't smell anything, so her diaper must be clean. I think she's more hungry from the sounds of it." commented Cloud.

Good, Suzume was not looking forward to when she had to change a diaper. Looking through the baby bag she had brought with, she found a bottle of formula. From the feel of it, it was lukewarm... was that warm enough? Or did it need to be warmer? Or was Tokui old enough that it did not matter so long as it was warm? As the baby continued to fuss more and more, Suzume decided try it. Thankfully, she had alread taken off the cloak the Raikage had given her, having stuffed it safely in the baby bag. Taking Tokui out of the carrier, she held the baby carefully in one arm before holding the bottle to her mouth. Thankfully the baby latched on without much fuss and started to eat with no problems. Sighing softly, she moved back over to her students, with Cloud following, Suzume said "You two will need to rest. You used a lot of chakra and moved about."

Jin Hatake

Jin moved into the dojo and looked around. He could tell that a fight had just gone on earlier that day as there were two others in the dojo. One had a baby and the other seemed to have a pet kangaroo. Jin made a mental note to have a spar with them both one day here soon. As he looked at them he noticed a dog as well which seemed to belong to the one that had the baby. Shrugging he moved over to the dummies at one side of the room and took down one of the practice swords. He had his own but thought it would be better if he trained with something heavier before moving on to the real weapon. Turning towards a dummy he took a few practice swings at it landing a solid chop and backwards chop directly after.

Without even noticing he began a small routine as he switched swiftly to a reverse grip and landed a strong and swift cut to the lower area of the dummy before returning to his original stance with the sword pointed down. His eyes stayed locked upon his opponent as ifwaiting for it to attack. His feet together one hand behind his back. Suddenly his sword shot up as he side stepped an unseen attack and followed up with a swift inside backhand to the stomach of the dummy before flipping over it and landing a powerful dropping chop to the head of the dummy as the wooden sword he had shattered with a loud smack. Chuckling to himself he took the wooden sword over to the trash and threw it away.

As soon as he made it back to the dummy he proceeded to pick up the shards of the destroyed sword and tossed them in the trash as well. Sighing he knew it was time to start his training, but what should he learn. He moved over to the style listings and proceeded to look them over thinking hard on his choice.

While she had been busy waiting for Yuugao or Asagao to reply, there was a sudden splintering of wood and a loud crack. Suzume was not startled by the noise, but the baby seemed to flinch at the sound. Tokui took her mouth off of the bottle and started to cry softly, frightened by the sound. "Ah geez, no, no, no, it's okay." said the red head, gently rocking the baby in her arms, trying to get her to calm down. Suzume was nervous at first, this being the first time she had to try to calm a baby down. Looking over to where the noise came from, "Excuse me, could you take it easy? There's a baby in the dojo." Honestly, why did he have to smash the wooden training sword? It seemed a bit excessive and that much force would strain a real blade enough to break it. If he wanted to use excessive force, then he would be better off using a club.

Jin looked over to were the voice came from and noticed he had disturbed the baby. He was about to make a smart comment before he noticed that the lady that had talked to him was a higher rank and he instantly bowed. My apologize Sempai. I am a fresh genin without a teacher. Well to be honest I still have yet to recive my headband but I will do that soon. He stayed bowed until he was given permission to raise. Normally he would have a smart come back but this wasn't another genin.

Jin hoped in the back of his head that the lady would come and give him some pointers, but he didn't bank on it. He waited as he began to control his breathing and concentrated on listening to the noises around him.

Once the other had took notice of her, she wondered why the other was training even though he did not have a headband. Usually, a new student from the academy had to go and get a headband from the Raikage. That would explain why he had so easily shattered the bokken, he was still new. "Well, what sort of sword do you plan on using? if you're going to use the traditional katana like many others, then you can't be so forceful as you were. Without control, then you'd break a real blade with whatever way you did to shatter the bokken." Thankfully, Tokui settled down eventually, perhaps it would be best to take the baby home, maybe call a baby sitter.

Jin Hatake

Jin stood straight as he nodded understanding what she was speaking of and turned to look at the styles. Well I was always the quickest of my class and I favor the katana, but the one I carry is rather old. It was someone's very close to me. I fear that if it even contacts another sword it will shatter. He turned back to her and walked towards her. His unnatural dark hair for an Hatake was sweep back and tied at the end to keep it from opening up. When he reached her he took his sword and sheath from his side and showed it to her.

He worn traditonal samurai armor that was oddly enough a light purple tint. His hands shook as if he was afraid of disappointing the higher rank ninja in front of him as he never looked her in the eyes once while waiting for a reply.
