If they have similar casting times, then we might be able to come up with something against the morphs." said the young lord to Rhys before he heard Uther speak. He then got up to follow them both outside.
"Yeah...I'll spar with you. Just a little more experience and I'll be 20/17...I hope I can get 20/20 by the time it's the final battle." he said.

Rei arrived outside, being met by Rhys, who seemed somehow less coordinated than normal.
"Now, Rhys, we'll probably not do much damage to each other, since we're both mages. But, that doesn't mean that I can't fight seriously! Now.... Prepare yourself!" He was mentally face-palming at his Ike quote aas he assumed a fighting position.

Alihi, still high above, continued to murmur apologies, all directed at someone who wasn't around anymore. Briefly, she looked down, noticing Rhys and Rei, and then Uther and Roy.
"..." She said nothing.

"I don't expect to do much damage either," Rhys said, smiling slightly at Rei's quote.

Light magic, of course, was strong against dark magic. Light dissipates the darkness--so does light magic dissipate dark magic. However, he was but a priest. Though he could control light magic a bit, he couldn't go beyond the basic light tome. Rei's experience with dark magic would make up for his "Trinity of Magic" disadvantage.

Rhys leaned forward, his head in front of the rest of his body. The brain is what gives arcane defenses. In magic, the brain is your shield.

"Well that just made everything a little harder..." said Roy with a sigh. Nevertheless, he drew both blades and took a fighting stance.
If that hits me, it'll hurt like hell...I'll keep my distance until I can get an opening to strike close... he thought.
((EDIT: Wait...if Generals fight with two weapons, doesn't that throw off the force of the attacks since it's linked to a chain? There's a reason why pirates use two axes and Generals use one...))

(Rei, I'm really, really bored and tired, so if you don't come on shortly, I'm going to go to bed.)

"Don't overestimate yourself. You've already got one of your equipment out, and you say you have more Pure Waters...which means you can't carry anymore items if you run out." said Roy.
He was in a similar predicament. But at least he had left room for 3 elixer uses.
"Here it comes." he took a step forward as he swung the Windblade forward, a blast of wind flying at the General. He then spun on his foot and swung the Light Brand, sending a wave of light towards Uther.
((He can't use two blades. But swords are lighter than axes, and he fights a little differently with two weapons than if he uses one. I only made this to counter Ikirru's double weapon use. Roy'll go back to using one weapon when the event is over.))
