Care to explain how it is different for me when I pull the "average American" card? I mean, so far you've done nothing to prove against it.

Kingrussel Atrasententia Kingrussel Atrasententia Kingrussel I'll take this as a submission then? How could you possibly get a submission out of that? Just wishful thinking on your part I suppose~ You submit because you admit that you're doing this on a whim, and that you've no understanding of what you're doing. You're nothing more than a child with a toy that knows big words. Which obviously is a enough to entertain you. Unfortunate... Well, First of all, I never submitted. Two, I do have an understanding of what I'm doing, and If anything, you could prove your superior intelligence by not lying to yourself that this is more of a whim for you than it is for me. My toy is bigger than yours~ ;D (And my words are too). This isn't an "You are and I'm not" situation, this is more of a "I am, and you don't wish to realize you are" situation, where you make a fool of yourself, by pretending you're aware of a situation, then make purely situational counter statements that are nothing less than inflammatory expressions of ones own aggravation. Yet again, you're being played like a card, in the hands of someone else, as usual I suppose by your very 'toolish' way of speaking. The hive mentality that you hold is adorable I give you that, but sadly it holds no weight in means of conversation. You're quoting things you find entertaining as you've tended too over the years, and thus, show no actual cognitive response to a situation aside from "Hey when someone does this I do this and it's funny." As I said, you're playing with a toy you know nothing about, to get a rise for yourself. The quicker you realize that, the quicker you'll be able to stop typing and maybe if you somehow transcend yourself in the next 20 minutes maybe apologize to everyone you've been a problem too. You can say what you want about me, but I am not a problem here, you are. I don't need to change who I am, you do. And if anything, you need to apologize to everyone, because I'm sure you've been a much bigger problem, to a lot more people.

Kingrussel Atrasententia Drachir D Nalem You just pulled the grammar card for one mistake. I think you should rethink your statement if you want to prove me wrong. You're failing so far. I think that would be an opinion~ I agree with him, and considering we're the 3 here, I believe that makes our opinion weightier than yours. Once again, a majority opinion does not make a fact.

Okay everyone. Simmer. Drachir D Nalem What is it with you Americans/Drow that you have to camwhore all the time to feel like you're worth anything yet still always go around saying s**t like "I'm ugly!" etc? Submitting a picture onto the internet or putting oneself onto a webcam is a way of making further contact with those on the other side of the screen. To say that it is entirely for the purpose of showing off is a rather jadded view, and doesn't take into consideration that perhaps the person sharing the images/video are making an attempt to use another communication style to bond with others over the world wide web. Saying that one is 'ugly' or making a comment to downplay themselves after sharing such files happens quite often, yes, but if that person were to change that comment to, oh, "I'M EFFING SEXY!eleven!1 LOOK A MY HOT BOD!!" it'd be twice as annoying. Being demure is a natural reaction of the person sharing the file to ensure those receiving that they are not trying to show off their beauty or wealth (or amazing teeth... or whatever), but simply that they wanted to share with the group what they look like. They are being self-conscious and bashful, and it is rude to attack someone for reacting in this way. Also, I must point out, that this is a behavior which is Internet-wide, and doesn't have a specific nation of which it is connected to. Tying it to American users is as correct as blaming one part of a bullet for having shot a bulls eye as compared to the entire shell. Maybe -you- don't take part of this behavior, but you cannot, nor should not, speak for your entire country. @Kingrussel: Opinions weight nothing. Only facts, mass, and ban hammers have any weight.

As a non-U.S. citizen, the only thing you probably know about us is what you see on the Internet, a majority of adolescents, and the falsities you have heard from your friends, who misconstrued it from the media.

uxia the drow @Kingrussel: Opinions weight nothing. Only facts, mass, and ban hammers have any weight. Facts are what are decided by mass opinion. The world is filled with uncertainty. Even if you KNOW something to be a fact, you're still probably wrong, due to that idea. So, as much as you'd like to sway me, as long as I ignore what you say, my facts remain facts, as long as I can convince a majority of folks to agree. Ignorance is bliss, but informed ignorance is euphoria.

Thank you Gabe. Just as the world is round, even if you say it's flat, I'm not losing this argument, even if you say I am.

Here's an idea: When submitting a picture, just write something like "Hey, here's a photo. What you think of it?" instead of "I'm so ugly... Nobody likes me... /emo" and so on.

Gabe Ragnarok ...Er. The world is still round. ._. Even if the majority says it isn't. My point is, in society, within human ears and eyes, where this is taking place (a purely unphysical, and simply intelligence based universe) what you think is what is reality. Even though you can't change the physical, theory still holds the most sway in a group. Boil it down to this; 5 people are sitting in a room, 3 of which are color blind to blue, 2 of which are colorblind to red. The room is 1/2 red and 1/2 blue, down the middle. To the individuals who are color blind to blue, the room looks completely red. To the minority, the two who can't see red, the room looks blue. Now they know that the room is blue in their eyes, but they can't argue against the 3 people who are obviously agreeing that the room is red. Regardless of what they say, the room will be seen as red then on, and the two who see red will redefine the idea of blue.

Kingrussel Riddle me this then: in the 14th century, could you argue that the world was round? No, because everyone KNEW that the world was flat, just like you KNOW that you're winning this argument. Need I continue? As this isn't the purpose for this thread, I'm fairly sure the guild as a whole would benefit from you to cease being childish and end this pointless argument. In the 14th century you could argue that the world was round if you were curious enough to look for signs which directed you to that conclusion. Please review here before you continue to make mistakes in front of others. Wiki-ality is decided on mass opinion, not fact. Facts are, in the sense which you are arguing, opinions BUT they are opinions in which there is no other plausible reasoning to make another conclusion. I don't want to sway you either way, I want you to stop being a little troll.

Personally, I don't really care what you said about the colorblind people. Facts are facts.
And if theory and what you consider facts depends on a majority opinion then consider this. I think the majority of the people in this guild would consider your activities annoying, useless, pointless, and above all, frustrating.
Since you have said the majority opinion wins, and you have been outnumbered, by your own words, your opinion is a falsity, and truth is on Atrasententia's side.

Drachir D Nalem Here's an idea: When submitting a picture, just write something like "Hey, here's a photo. What you think of it?" instead of "I'm so ugly... Nobody likes me... /emo" and so on. As far as I've seen no one has said "I'm so ugly, no one likes me /emo" after submitting their picture here. Though if you would like I will edit the first post in this thread to make a specific rule that no one says exactly that without, of course, making a joke of it. And as humorous as this convesation must be to you, Drachir, I have no patience for it. This argument ends now. Get back to posting pretty little pictures of people being disemboweled.
