::Koriko is still kind of skeptical, but you have to be sometimes in the city. He watches her moves very closely, noticing where she moves her hands.::
"So your a preformer eh?? what do you do? sing, dance, stand up?"

Eve smirks, always glad to chat about her hobbies. "I sing and dance. I do some fun little performances for children, like the traveling song." As she started with 'like the' her voice came to the side of him, near a trashcan. When she said 'traveling song.' her voice then spoke from a group of boxes at the other side of him.
"It's a simple trick really. Throwing your voice. It also comes in handy when things get...sticky." This time her voice came from her own mouth, and was not thrown. "I perform at clubs, though I have not sang at any here yet. I do theatre work on the side." Her other hand went into her other pocket, her stance very relaxed.

::koriko's attention never leaves the person standing infront of him, he hears her throwing her voice but he doesn't follow it. Cheap Parlor tricks he thinks to himself::
"Impressive, there are a few clubs here that i go to, to check out the local talent. I don't go often though, to young of a crowd for me. oh how rude of me. My namd is Koriko"
::He bows his head slightly and then extends his hand out::

Eve never moves, never takes his hand. It was like his introduction was alien to her...but she knew it very well. She was busy wondering about his name. She's never heard of a name like his...though coming from Japan she shouldn't be so intrigued, for many odd sounding names are in that country. She shakes her head a bit, after catching his bow, then carefully steps up a bit, grasping his hand firmly and shaking it.
"I like your name. It sounds...like home." She says solemly. She may not be a born or blood member of Japan, but none the less she loved it there. So peaceful...tranquel...
"I've yet to find my way around this City. I'm getting there...but there are still parts I've never explored. Thats what I'm doing tonight. Wish to join?" She asked polietly.

::koriko smiles a bit as she is intrigued by his name, most people are who hear it. it's not a common name at all, now that he thinks about it. he's the only koriko he knows, and he's been around the world hundreds of times::
"I would love to, I myself am still exploring the ciy, but i know my way around pretty well"

Though Eve closes the gap between them a bit, she still keeps more than a yard's distance. She knows relatively nothing of him, and keeps up her suspission of danger. "How long have you been in this city? I've only been here about a week. I heard there was a plague going around, the fort kept us in quarentine until it was over. I guess it is, seeing that many are out and about." She began walking, continuing the way she was going.

"i've been here for a little over a year, but i've lived in the states for alot longer than that. Yeah there was a plague going around.... I unfortunatly got infected by it, but luckally there was a place that made the vaccine for it and i am cured and healthy now. glad to see you didn't have to go through it. so what brought you to NY?"

"Music." She says automatically, but then shakes her head and laughs. "Well, a school for music. I live here alone, but in a dorm with a few roomates. They annoy me...greatly." She then closed her eyes as she walked, a slight tense in her body as she recalled how annoyed she actually was with them. This girl, always patient, had run out of patience with her roomates. She then opened her eyes and sighed. "But I can't change rooms. I'm trying to find a place to live alone, or with someone a bit...more respectful." She suddenly slid her hand to her back pocket, keeping it there as her cellphone buzzed. It slightly frightened her, but she'd rather not answer it. When it buzzes she knows it's either an unknown caller or her roommates.

She puts her hand back into her pocket and shakes her head. "No way. I'm allergic, badly. Fatal." She looked down a bit as she walked. She has frustrated many, either leaving a room because of smoke or having to make other's leave, making them mad either way. She wished something could be done, but an allergy is an allergy, and a fatal allergy was worst of them all.
"But it doesn't mean you don't have to. Just...blow it another way." She says jokingly, throwing her voice behind him as if to indicate where to blow the smoke. She was trying to make herself smile, and goofing around always put a smirk on her face.

Eve stared at him for a moment, her lips slowly creasing to a smile. Almost a laugh, but no laugh being sounded. She couldn't believe his question. She did not believe in vampires, they were folk tales, stories, children's fright time sitcoms. She watched shows about present time 'vampires', the society born belief...but never the real thing.
"I know of the popular belief, yes. The folk tales, the shows, but nothing more."

Eve looks at him for a moment and shrugs. "Children's stuff. The books to read in the dark under your blanket with a flashlight, the saturday night movies to watch with your parents, the society born popularity with the fake fangs and the nightclubs. They hate silver, religious items and sun light. What is there not to know? Creatures of the night aren't really creatures of the day." She says, laughing a bit.
