I can't wait to get my computer. Finally get started on my star wars story.
Sounds interesting.
It is. I'm planning in writing it in three parts.
Basically, it takes place twenty-five years after Star Wars: A New Hope (alongside The New Jedi Order book series) and stars Talleaon Carr, a Corellian (like Han Solo) who's family shipping company is attacked and destroyed by a lethal cartel group. He and his brother, Markus, then set out on a quest to find out who this mysterious Dark Moon Cartel is, why they destoyed his family.
As the story goes, he comes across and eventually falls in love with a Jedi woman named Liiya Mako, who's own Jedi Master was assigned to the shipping convoy that Draeson Carr (Talleaon's father) was in charge of shipping before it was attacked and pirated by the Dark Moons.
So, while fighting off bounty hunters, mercenaries and making ends meet to afford his quest, he searches for his father whom he believes still lives. But, through out the story, the New Jedi Order is taking place, with the invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong, an extra-galactic alien race who basically tear the galaxy in half and defeat the New Republic.

I've been working on this story for years, but its never taken to ground until just recently.
