TheRob Mackencheese whoops! Shoulda clarified. That's how much I worked last week. And it looks like its gonna be another one of those! Just think of all the monies! surprised I'm working similar amount of hours last week and this week because one or two people went on vacation or something. Same case with you or are they just generally short-handed? Short staffed at both jobs. At The Bagel Maker, I'm one of 3 people that can work there. One's in school for two days and is helping break down one of the other locations. The other is the owner. And he's always busy. -.- At CFA, we had one girl go out of town, so we hired 2 people. But we were still sorta short anyway because they have very specific hours that they can work. Well. One of them quit without any notice last week. Thank you, oil cleanup. Well, I mean, really thank you, but no thanks for being so short notice on those training classes. At least this week my hours are more spread out, so I won't die. biggrin

I had a 17-hour shift earlier. 7pm on Monday until noon on Tuesday. burning_eyes Mackencheese Also! Knee surgury next thursday. Nervous? Yes. Ready to be done with everything? Totally! What happened to your poor knee? eek

Indeed it was hot enough to make one physically ill, and I spent entirely too much time out in it. At least there was a breeze today, otherwise I really may have become rather ill. I was overheated and got too much sun this afternoon, but at least I can tell when I'm about to really suffer the ill effects of heat exhaustion and take steps to prevent it. When I got home I immediately took a cool shower to bring down my body temperature and I drank a lot of water.
I feel much better now. 3nodding

Blufoo OMG, you know it is hot outside if it makes you feel like you're going to vomit. xp That happened to me once when I was little. I think I may have been at Disney too. All my orange soda got upchucked into the toilet bowl. x_x

Damn Gaia erased my wishlist except for the last 10 items. mad
I guess I'll have to redo it in the near future. I'll take off most of those 10 items and just put the stuff this account actually wants in there. Most of the items I had on there were just to keep track of everything Gaia was coming out with. xp
