*peeks in, waves* Hello! I'm Latte. Nice to meet you all.
...Should I start talking about that time my tooth went through my lip?

Essentially so, Diabolik.
Welcome, Latte! Ew, that can't be fun, Latte. I almost impaled my foot once. *grumbles* Stupid sharp-edged broken lego pieces...

Thanks! Also, OUCH. I feel for you. Legos are more dangerous than they let on, the sneaky little buggers.
Also, yeah, not so much. Walking to the other end of the sidewalk with my bike while my lip was bleeding profusely down my front...not my best moment.

Neither of those sounds particularly pleasant... and hello there Latte, it's nice to meet you.
I was making candy with a friend and some molten sugar dripped onto the back of my hand while pouring it. I have a heart-shaped scar there now.
That's my awful event. Fun times, no? At least the candy tasted good.

Hmm... Skin-flavored candy....
*is a bit intruigued that this conversation of scars, and pain has lasted so long* Its funny, at my school... Every time there is a fight, almost EVERYONE flocks over to see it. Its like... everyone like to see drama, and pain, and blood, and stuff... pretty weird.

Wel, why do you think everybody loves reality TV so much? Also, whenever there is a traffic acident, you'll always see the people going right by it slowing down adn craning their neck to see as much of the carngae as they can. It is utterly pathetic, but people seem excited by macabre scenes.
Well, it depends on the author. As for Emily Dickinson, I like her poetry a lot. I coould help, I suppose. The only well-known poet I can't seem to understand is Robert Frost.

Of course, there are still macabre things in our culture that do not still seem so. For instance, a large party is often called a Gala- ne? Well, the term origonates from the 'gallows' where a mob of people would amass to watch a person be hanged. confused

Well, I like her poetry too, it's just the analyzing of it that I don't like...

Hey, one thing... People enjoy scenes of carnage, destrution and just total macabre things, and i think that's why Horror movies are so successful. especially Saw and Saw 2... And possibly Saw 3... There's a Saw 4 in production, you know.
