EDIT to the EDIT!!!The shot from the Lycan pierced Rhator's left wing, removing some of the leading feathers. Rhator barely felt the pain. The normal bullet-wound didn't heal right away though, that was when he realized that holy water had been used. It was no problem for him however, He could still fly with the wing even with a hole in it. It was then that Rhator realized his plan had not worked. He quickly spun on his heel, quitting his acting career for the moment (( wink )). He chased the trio back down the alleyway, running until he had room to spread his wings and fly after them. He would not be denied his prey again. As he ran he heard shots richochet where he had been standing seconds before. It was that damn vampiress again. He would not be distracted by her again. She was one of the reasons he lost the weapon in the first place. He continued chasing the trio.
((Thanks for the compliment. I had to figure out a way to stop such a powerful weapon against demons. Unfortunately for the rest of my race I own the only one. xd And sorry Mors, I didn't see the post about teh holy water bullet. Thanks for telling me.))

"Hmph!" snorted Liora derisively as she was roughly hauled off by Astande. However, she complied to his shoved and headed away from the howling oni. Something did not seem right, there, but she trusted the Kerrigan had it under control. But, of course, Liora still wanted to get a last word in.
"Hauled away before I get to see whether I defeathered the turkey! Honestly, what a way to treat a woman!"
If Astande had glanced back, he would have seen the unmistakable joking gleam in Liora's golden eyes. Even if she was ill-equipped, even if it had only lasted a few mere moments, even if she was a 'hinderance', Liora still had enjoyed her brief little jaunt with the oni. There was nothing like a battle to lift one's spirits, and as far as she was concerned, she'd gotten a taste of the best of battle minus the painful wounds. Liora removed the comment as she felt the aura still pursuing her. Spinning around while still running, Liora fired twice more at the oni's left wing, putting her expertise with firearms to good use. The wing made an easier target opened.
((That's actually a holy-water bullet. I stated it previously, but I guess I didn't make it clear enough. Not that it would make a bit of difference...
Edit: I liked the little acting reference there; I didn't quite catch it at first. wink ))

He looks back for a moment, noticing the demon having taken to the air. He only takes a moment for curiousity before noticing a new strange necklace dangling about his neck...an upsidedown cross...
"Damn..."
The doors of haven are in sight...barely...but he can't risk giving it's position away to a demon he may not be able to kill this night...and he knew that Liora would not turn from a hunt to run to a door when the prey was presented so blatantly in front of them and they had the advantage...well...so be it...He stopped, withdrawing both of the viper twins, his nekode claws still at the ready...

(( Gotta do this the hard way huh? xP )) Seeing that she had not distracted him in the slightest, it was plan B. Quickly, she took off after him, the glint of mishceif quickly changing to one of annoyance. She was used to taking prey out in one shot if possible. Now that she was fighting him for the second time, she would do whatever it took to get him out of the air and into a grave.
She followed him swiftly, moving like a blur through the nigth as she leapt from building to building. When she can caught up to him and was running alongside him, she pushed herself to go a little faster. However, as she saw the others enter haven, she slowed down. There would be another day for this demon to die, even if she hated leaving loose ends. No matter.
She paused on the rooftop as he flew off, a low growl escaping her. She started to follow them into haven, but instead remained outside. She had not been in there since her transformation, and to do so seemed a little wrong at the moment. As a result of this, she simply stood, sihlouetted against the moon as she gazed down at the busy doorway of Hunter's, and beyond that, Haven.

((Same here, Octave, here's what I suggest. You three make it into the night club after rounding a corner just before I do. Inside Haven your aura's would be masked to me. Frustrated, Rhator would leave on the spot and return to his Apartment. Sound good everyone? Unfortunately SN this would require a post edit from you. domokun ))

Tokeru quickly went to the armory at the chapter house, He got his mines and left again for the city. He was returning to the warehouse, this time with his most powerful anti-lycan weapons. His sonic pulse mines.

*Raven wakes up and streches out a lil bit*HmmmmmmmmmmmmThat was a good sleep...*He gets up and goes to the fridge and pulls out the milk and eggs. He cracks open the eggs and scrambles them up in a measureing cup. he addes a lil milk to them and mixes the concation together. he pours them into a saucepan and starts to cook them on low. Before he puts the milk away he takes a swig from it*Ahhh*He puts the milk away and starts to hum softly so he doesnt wake up his guest.*

Albert nodded to Liora,"I gotta move fast." Albert pulled out his caligraphy brush, ink and paper talismans. Quickly and hastily, he dipped his calipgraphy brush into the ink well and painted the Chinese characters of,"Buying Time for Longevity." Albert quickly picked up his talisman and dried it in a few seconds.
"This should buy us some time, I've got to prepare something in the meantime."
Albert pulled out his handguns and reloaded them. Next, he washed off his caligraphy brush and capped the ink well, and placed them both back in his bag. "Ready for orders!"
