Say, I'm curious.. the platforms in the current arenas, what material are they made of? I'd guess something light or hollow, to keep afloat on the surface and sway so easily.

Vin as Midus 200 ft in radius, with a 100 ft in diameter I wonder if any one caught the fact that the above quote about the new arena platforms are mathmatically impossible...You can not have a cirle with a 200ft radius and a 100ft diameter. Diameter is from one side, through the center point and to the other side of the circle while radius is from the center point of the circle to the side of the circle...I was just wondering if any one caught that.

I'll be damned, I didn't even notice that. It's the exact reverse; 100 ft. radius, 200 ft. diameter. domokun

Who gives a s**t. Everyone wings the dimensions of arena's anyway, usually comes down to the people who are involved to use their imagination to sort all that technical s**t out.

@Dragon Yea, sorry. Like stated above, I like math so I HAD to point that out. It has been eating away at the edge of my mind since I read the discriptions.

You're right, it really doesn't matter; most people who read that probably filled in the blanks automatically "diameter = other, radius = first" but, sometimes exact distance does play a role in a match. Not often though, since most people cover unspecified amounts of distance all the time.
Still, good to iron out small mistakes.
.. But this platform deal's bugging me. I assume nothing's under it supporting it either, so it'd have to be a light material - and if it's what I'm hoping it is, this arena's the epitome of win and I just came.

My guess for the arena material would be a type of plastic with mid-tier density. |:
