Terara Drakon J of The Wind Skaeryll Owwin Not terrible. Had a good couple of days. Got to work out, enjoying some of the sketches I have tried to draw, swam today, Haven't been listening to a lot of music though. I am at one of my in between phases where I have milked my enjoyment out of the electronica genres for the season and I gotta listen to other stuff for a while to recharge. I wanna start with some oldies, then maybe a little classical, lil bit of grunge, and hopefully I can hunt down some good rap so I don't have to listen to the like, 4 rap songs I like to get my fix on that XD How about you?
I'm good, I'm going to my friends house tomorrow... I guess technically it's our third date. razz ...but this time it'll be just us.

l-Kathulu-l I agree with what Allegro is saying too. I want to teach for a living. I'm not going into it for the money. I know that I am not going to be a millionaire, or anything close to one. My definition of being successful is making a difference in kids lives and doing what I love doing for a living. However cliched that is, its true. True, it should never be about the money. My problem is that athletes getting paid more says to me that teachers, doctors, and scientists aren't getting the appreciation they should be getting. They're trying to change the world. What are professional athletes' doing? Trying to not fumble the football? Ugh. I don't hate sports. Physical activity is an important part of life alongside mental development and I don't have a problem with people playing sports or making a living on something else that they enjoy doing. But is investing $2 million a year at the very least into six-pack abs and trying to win that trophy really going to cure cancer, pay off the national debt, or feed Africa?

Owwin Oh definitely society is the problem here. Maybe if people stopped showing up at baseball games and stopped watching every single stupid movie that came out they would have more money that they wouldn't care about the government taking to pay the teachers, but as you know, nobody wants those evil taxes raised, and even if they do the dumbasses that we elect cant funnel it into the right places.

HOLY s**t BRILLIANT IDEA! We endorse teachers! The most badass of the badass teachers that everybody likes? We make them local heroes. They have longer careers than most athletes anyway. Oh ********! I don't think we should have any contact with other nations except for trade. If we can't produce something ourselves then we should look for alternatives. I feel we have no need in Afghanistan, just fighting a war that an elected official started 9 years ago. And as for the sports I agree too. People are obsessed with this and they blame the government for the debt, why they lost their job, and why things aren't getting any better. It's because people are sitting on their asses doing nothing about it. You care more about who is winning the World Cup than how you can help stimulate the economy.

Endorsing local teachers would bring attention to public school salaries and influence students to pay such attention, I think. And companies would glean positive advertisement and possibly more sales, if not better reputations. You should suggest this to someone.
