I have no objection to the Rp staying here, I am just growing impatient with the guild repeatedly going inactive, and with still waiting for a mission to be graded after more then four months. It seemed like all the crew had totally abandoned the guild. What was I supposed to think?

I can play on both systems. Skype is overlord.maddy
It's not really your guild to move, honestly.

MaddyMage I can play on both systems. Skype is overlord.maddy It's not really your guild to move, honestly. If all the crew was gone and hadn't been seen or heard from in four months, then how could I hope to get the rp going here alone? The answer is that I had no authority at all here, so I could not hope to resurrect it here. You guys had 4 months before I decided there was no other choice left but this, so don'tt be mad at me because I took some initiative to try and save the rp the only way that I could.

Someone mind catching me up? Spark notes version please.
EDIT: And as far as missions not being graded, we've been looking at other possibilities to do missions. Because honestly, no one except the grader really reads them. And that's not what we want for character development storylines.

Maybe we could like, sometimes if we have no ideas for RPs, the crew or higher ups can issue a mission to each aquan currently their, and they'd report back with the mission in the actual RP thread. So that way, everyone will have seen it, and the report can be implemented in the character experience, or something like that xD

I'm not really a fan of the missions. I feel like it's too much personal experience, not enough team work.

My philosophy on missions is they are there to supplement the RP not be it. I don't look at this chat. I look at the RP, when I see the last page of the RP being all crew, I don't see minimal reason to do much more with stuff that needs to be done, because the members aren't participating in the main part of this guild.

Not necessarily, I think your idea has some merit. Basically maybe every week I could post a custom mission. Basically a WEEKLY in an MMORPG. I could use it to advance the story, while at the same time, getting some Main Thread activity.

I look at the RP, when I see the last page of the RP being all crew, I don't see minimal reason to do much more with stuff that needs to be done, because the members aren't participating in the main part of this guild. I missed the July 10th rp, but if you go back a page, Fuzzi was there. I was there on July 9th and every day before that, basically. After the 10th, the crew started getting scarce and the next post came on the 15th. Unfortunately, in an rp like this when all the crew disappears for no apparent reason, people stop paying attention. I can't recall what I was doing on the 15th, but I recall checking the thread on the 16th and seeing that I missed the chance. The next post appeared on the 20th, then the 2i4th, then August 9th. There was no announcement of an upcoming rp, all those posts were spur of the moment, and the damage was done, people stopped paying attention to the guild. The crew easily could have sent an announcement saying that there would be an rp at such and such date and time, and as long as people had prior warning they would have shown up, but that never happened. I certainly never wanted to abandon this rp or anything like that, but I couldn't justify sitting around on gaia all evening every evening when there was zero activity most evenings. At that time, I spent a lot of time in the news forums, so I for one likely could have been present on all of these dates if an announcement was sent out, even if it was last minute.

Well that is what I meant. I should have made it clear I didn't mean the missions from the mission list xD
It's just an idea for any time someone cant come up with an idea for the Main RP, or no one can come in to host one, they could issue a custom mission for everyone to do o3o

Well, there's an RP tentatively scheduled for next Tuesday, which came about from a member sending me a message saying that he was coming back but he saw no activity. While I would've preferred that he posted in the thread, he gave me recent indication of wanting to RP. A dead main thread tells me that no one is interested. But at this point you and I have slightly different definitions of what indicates interest in activity, and I don't see this part of this conversation advancing.
