Get out from that kitchen and rattle those pots and pans Get out from that kitchen and rattle those pots and pans Well, roll my breakfast 'cause I'm a hungry man
*from the back slides the brother/sister professional team of Julliane and Derek Hough, both dressed in classic 50's style ala soda joint/Greaser getups*
*The sibling pair immediately engage in a fast paced quick step dance*
I said Shake, rattle and roll I said Shake, rattle and roll I said Shake, rattle and roll I said Shake, rattle and roll Well, you never do nothin' to save your doggone soul Wearin' those dresses, your hair done up so nice Wearin' those dresses, your hair done up so nice You look so warm, but your heart is cold as ice Chorus I'm like a one-eyed cat, peepin' in a sea-food store I'm like a one-eyed cat, peepin' in a sea-food store I can look at you, tell you don't love me no more I believe you're doin' me wrong and now I know I believe you're doin' me wrong and now I know The more I work, the faster my money goes Chorus SHAKE, RATTLE AND ROLL
*the dance ends with derek somersaulting over a table and landing on Juliane's shoulders and she carries him over to the bar counter and he slides off and has a seat to applause*

*applauds*
Whomever is paired up with either of them will have a great shot in this competition, in my opinion. Incredible coordination there.

*applauds and nods to Hartley*
They were raised b another professional dancer, Corky Ballas, who trained them. So they've been dancing together for years. Its only natural I imagine they' have such chemistry.
*whispers*
Though I think Juliane getting involved in country music is a sad waste of talent.

Fun fact: I robbed a country singer once, and he wound up enjoying the feeling of being tied up and left in nothing but boots and drawers by another man so much that there wound up being a scandal a few years later...
But that's a story for another time.

*in answer to the Hartley's querie, the music starts to play and the experienced Corky Ballas steps out in a classic suit, escorting the younger Lacey Schwimmer, in a tasteful gown of violet shades, by the hand*
*He spins her around to the dance floor before drawing her in and they begin the waltz*
The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful Stop me and steal my breath Emeralds from mountains thrust toward the sky Never revealing their depth Tell me that we belong together Dress it up with the trappings of love I'll be captivated I'll hang from your lips Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above
Chorus: I'll be your crying shoulder I'll be your love suicide and I'll be better when I'm older I'll be the greatest fan of your life
Rain falls angry on the tin roof As we lie awake in my bed You're my survival, you're my living proof My love is alive not dead Tell me that we belong together Dress it up with the trappings of love I'll be captivated I'll hang from your lips Instead of the gallows of heartache, that hang from above
I'll be your crying shoulder I'll be your love suicide and I'll be better when I'm older I'll be the greatest fan of your life
I've been dropped out, burned up, fought my way back from the dead Tuned in, turned on, Remembered the things that you said
*the song ends, Corky on his bended knee, kissing Lacey's hand*

Thank you dear, a white wine perhaps. Something light. Telepathy and alcohol don't tend to mix well.

*the husband/wife pairing of Alec Mazo and Edyta Śliwińska stroll out as the lights fade to a gentle calm*
*Alex takes Edyta into his lean yet capable arms and the slow, sensual dance begins to...*
Beauty queen of only eighteen She had some trouble with herself He was always there to help her She always belonged to someone else
I drove for miles and miles And wound up at your door Ive had you so many times but somehow I want more
I dont mind spending everyday Out on your corner in the pouring rain Look for the girl with the broken smile Ask her if she wants to stay awhile And she will be loved She will be loved
Tap on my window knock on my door I want to make you feel beautiful I know I tend to get insecure It doesnt matter anymore
Its not always rainbows and butterflies Its compromise that moves us along My heart is full and my doors always open You can come anytime you want
I dont mind spending everyday Out on your corner in the pouring rain Look for the girl with the broken smile Ask her if she wants to stay awhile And she will be loved She will be loved
I know where you hide Alone in your car Know all of the things that make you who you are I know that goodbye means nothing at all Comes back and begs me to catch her every time she falls

Now there's a pair with some real chemistry. I wonder if our contestants will be able to convey that feeling of passion.

Thank you.
*accepts the glass and has a light taste*
It will be difficult, but it can be done. I've been watching them when they pair with what they call 'celebrities' and I have seen some impressive chemistry between certain pairs. Still, there's no substitute for natural chemistry in my humble opinion.
*watches as Edyta and lex exit the dance floor*
I believe its almost time for the grand finale.
*has aother sip and glances at him*

There, now we're both going to get hit by lightning.
