Macs don't necessarily suck. They're in reality, much similar to PCs. The emphasis is on media rather than general performance though, so they don't really have much as far as graphical specs go.
Also, like 5 people in North America actually have a Mac, so nobody thinks to design viruses for them. Unfortunately, nobody thinks to develop anything else for them either, so their utility is basically limited to iPod, iTunes, and whatever shovelware Apple endorses this week.
In addition to that, Macs can't game, attract a very specific class of douchebag (the ironic beard growing kind), and cost what a PC of the same specs would cost +$500.
So yeah, tl;dr
I guess Macs kinda suck

More people who I go to school with have Macs over PCs. But I go to some rich, kid snobby school so...
Macs can do some games.
I do not have beard.
Macs are quite expensive, but mine was totally free so I don't care.

Macs and PCs are all part of the robot race which I don't care to consort with. That is why I got the internet installed in my brain.
@ Kath. That is actually a brilliant idea. They need to add that to all RPGs. are you on an emulator or something?

I have not encountered many hipster mac users. Just spoiled rich kid ones.

I suppose Macs do have their uses. They do tend to handle office work better than PC.
But PC's can do office work well enough to get the job done AND they can actually play games. So PC ftw.
