Tokeru smelled burning flesh. He reached up and pulled off a piece of paper, with one hand he crushed it and threw it down on the ground.
He looked up to see the one called feather looking at him. He looked towards the lycan and said. "Liora is it? We don't have time to waste, lets go. You too feather." He said with an almost imperceptible tone of disgust.
He lept up and flew off at an even faster speed than before.

Liora blinked for a moment at the mention of her name, and then a wry smile crossed her lips. Of course, such knowledge was easy to come by, but she still gave Tokeru the credit he deserved for drawing the connection. Tokeru must have recognized her face from one of the few remaining insidious theatrical posters lurking in the dark corners of the city. Her latest and last role had been Ophelia in 'Hamlet'; that had been a whole six months ago, yet some bulletins still lurked about like bad memories. Shakespeare had an uncanny sense of situational irony; apparently, so did her life. Liora had no idea how ironic her role as Ophelia- a woman driven bad by her love- had been. Fortunately, she'd choosen to avoid committing hare kare unlike her stage-identity.
"Finally. I was beginning to get quite bored." she replied, stressing the 'quite' in her comment to emphasize just how great her boredom was, however untrue such a suggestion might be.
Liora then bounded off, trailing behind Tokeru with ease. Had he been Peter Pan, his shadow would have been speared to death by the heels of Liora's stilletto-heeled pumps; such was how close the lycan woman was able to race behind him. She assumed that Feather would be able to match their frantic paces; he had done so previously, afterall.

Albert placed the ink cap back on the well and he washed off the brush with some Poland Spring Water he carried. He packed his things and rushed off, using Ba Guaquan to leap buildings. He caught up with Llora turned to her,"I think I went a little far. I'm a novice of Chinese Taoist Magic. Schizophrenia was supposed to be a sign that one part of his soul was being taken over by another mind. However, I didn't intend for the spell to backfire and burn his flesh... I must have forgotten the incence. It's always the incence." Albert sighed and looked a bit upset.
Albert turned his face to Tokeru's path,"You think he's mad at me?" he asked innocently.

MorsVenit Just as Liora began to lose interest in Tokeru's strange behavior, she noted the even stranger acts from Feather. Her specialities strayed far from the Chinese culture and theologies, so Feather's actions completely baffled her. From Liora's viewpoint, the lad had scribbled incoherently on a rectangular piece of paper and then attached it to Tokeru's forehead. The mere fact that Feather had equipped himself with such paper and such a writing utensil was strange enough to Liora.
"Figures..." she muttered, leaving the latter half of her thought process unspoken. I'm stuck with a bunch of looney tunes.
She popped the cylinder of her revolver back into place, avoiding contact with the silver bullets it held. The gun was then returned to its holster, and Liora turned briskly on her heel away from both Feather and Tokeru. Perhaps it was best for her not to turn her back to clinically ill individuals, but Liora surmised that she would sense their actions even with her back turned. The main reason she turned was to hide the expression of incredulity that had flashed, unwanted, across her face. Even as an actress, she was sometime unable to completely control her emotions or her needs. Right now, Liora felt that she needed a smoke.
Then, she sensed a subtle shift in the presence of Feather. It occurred to Liora that the strange ritual that Feather and Tokeru were doing might not be acts of insanity, but of a mythical and arcane nature that was beyond her comprehension. Such a dire misunderstanding had happened once before; therefore, it could happen again. Liora only wished to see to it that her naivity would not have such an ineffable impact on her life this time as it had the last. She turned towards her acquiantances once again. The incredulity on her face had been replaced by unabashed curiosity. Perhaps they would see her expression and provide a semblance of an explanation, or so she hoped. The distinct aura's of the 3 previous encounters were growing steadily as he made his way at a breakneck speed across the rooftops of new york, following their path away from the scene in the intersection. His cloak flares about his person in the night air, his eyes shining with a fetid rage. Sooner than he would have expected, he is almost right on top of them. As he leaps from the next rooftop, he alters his projection a bit for the streets below, noticing a subtle difference at this range in the aura of the winged one. A significant, yet barely recognisable shift in his dispostion. The chinese words touch upon his acute hearing even as the wind rushes past them in his decent. At the last moment, he notices the woman in red just a few feet away from his pre-determined site of landing... His impact is heavy, creating a large and heady depression in the asphalt, tearing up the surrounding area. Shards and large chunks of concrete and stone burst into the air from the pressure tearing apart the intermixed surface. Cracks snake out from the initial damage, creating a web-like portrait of stressed earth. He rises slowly, lowering his hood, his face a mask of sobered and barely contained anger, his eyes a vibrant and anamalistic crimson. He spares a glance for the Lycan woman, searching more for the winged male. His understanding of the man's situation is limited, but things with wings don't often take sunlight or silver...He withdraws one of the Viper twins. Slowly and purposfully, he lowers it readily to his side, the crimson glint of "Mary's Blessing" shining liquidlike along the edge. His voice is deep and threatening in it's undertone, losing it's sensual quality...
"Hm...how about you say a few Namu Amida Butsu's while your at it...his soul just might need it..." He directs his attention at the Lycan Woman, but continues to speak generally "You better hope discharge is the least of your worries if we at Haven find it a waste to keep hunters around who can't keep their wits about them..." He then speaks to her directly "So i'd suggest keeping your young friend there under a bit more control...Hunters have enough to deal with without killing each other...be thankful for that demon back there, or i would have come after you in less of a tolerating, let alone knowledgable, mood...When were you linked up to the NYHG?"

Tokeru spun around at the sound of the crash, performing an acrobatic feat impossible under the circumstances. He spread his wings wide and spun his body sideways, turning 180 degrees in a split second without losing speed. He shot backwards where he saw another hunter. He landed on the ground beside him.
"Hello. I don't think we've met. I am Tokeru."
As he said that, he unconciously moves his trench coat aside to reveal the sword. Mephisto's sword.

His attention shifts slowly from the woman to the winged male, his rage simmering. His fangs gleam in a grimace, only slightly akin in some grotesque way to a smile...His sword arm almost twitches. His eyes slide lightly over the "Daito", his own Ninja-to still steady by his side, and ultimatley giving him a superior advantage should it come to close combat, allowing him more freedom of movement in a closer range of action, as well as quicker response time... "Hm....cocky as well...i'm the one you tried to flash to death back in the square, and you are only looking like a fool trying to feign ignorance. You used UV flashbombs back there boy..."

Liora's eyes narrowed as the vampire from previously leapt in front of them. Strangely enough, he didn't bother to mask his presence had he had earlier, yet she'd sensed his being only moments before he came into view. His speed was truly laudable; Liora had to admit that she'd consider him a more than worthy foe in battle. Fortunately, by his words, Liora realized that he was no more a foe than the men she was standing with. No enemy vampire would speak of other hunters in such a way; he, too, must be of the NYHG. So, they were tolerant of other races. This provided minimal comfort for Liora; her cover was blown. Feigning being accepted in the NYHG would get her nowhere even though it was completely within her acting abilities, so Liora decided to vouch for complete honesty. However, she would have to tread carefully; the anger emanating from the being in front of her was so acute the lycan could practically taste it.
"Hmph. I see the reason for your anger; we were more than capable of handling that situation. Next time, I'll try to follow your advice and keep a tighter leash on these two gentlemen. Their flight certainly wasn't to my liking, and it won't happen again under my watch."
She casted a friendly glance of warning towards her comrades following her comments; she was admonishing them for the very thing which she had previously scolded herself. They all must tread carefully here. Her eyes landed with a special significance on Mephisto's sword. She hoped Tokeru wasn't planning on starting anything now of all times.
"I also see the reasoning behind your accusing their lack of wits, but, to their credit, it would have taken an especially observant individual to see through my guise. I'm actually not linked up to the NYHG yet, but I am certainly an ally of theirs and not a foe despite my race. Being an immortal as you are, I'm sure you might be capable of understanding my situation. I was planning on having them introduce me to your leader once I proved my loyalty on our little 'mission'. Perhaps you would be the better one to entrust this task to."
Liora realized that her womanly guiles would amount to nothing with this being, so she stared at him calmly, careful to maintain a respectful eye contact and an earnest tone.

Tokeru laughed at the vampire. "I didnt use UV flash bombs, they were beacons. And would have done nothing to you, if you are what you say anyway. Only a weak vampire would have been hindered by those bombs."
His hand tightened into a fist. Two rings on his hand flashed. The demon ring flashed red, the dragon one flashed white. "And if you think i am a fool, you may want to rethink your judgment."
Tokeru smiled nicely, hiding all emotions, positive or negative and reserving judgment of this vampire.
"Either way, i see you are ready to fight, but we should wait untill later. For these two's sakes." He pointed his head towards the lycan and the other human.

Albert tried to stop himself from advancing by tilting his body forward, landing on his hands, spinning his legs and spring right up to his feet in the opposite direction. His face turned a little pale and then his face became stern,"Namu... Amida... Butsu?" Albert was a little confused, it sounded like Japanese to him.
Butsu? As in, Buddhist? Hmm... What's he... Oh, I get it!
The next thing that Albert noticed was the Ninja-to that this new face was bearing... It was a little uncommon to see a Ninja-to being used, by a vampire no less. "You... Do you... Umm..." Albert was found to be baffled, his use of words were now crossed with a curse of a thousand questions that could never be answered... In a night's time...

He nods respectfully and almost politely to the lycan woman, before turning his baleful gaze on the winged one yet again, glancing down at the weapon sheathed at his side...
"My Judgement stands. Haven does not take on those who act so rashly under such fragile circumstances. You have incurred the wrath of...i would think, "Another", demon? I care not of whome you have come across in the past, or what you have done. Your years show as clearly in your actions as in your face, no matter how much you attempt to disguise them..." His eyes flash to the glint of the man's rings, their Auras distinctly differing from each other. The swords Aura is undeniable...he smiles at it's purity in taint...knowing that if he could clash blades with that weapon, at this moment, it would be cut through like butter with that much of a demonic influence on it..."Bloody Mary" truly was a blessing...he was glad to have come across the idea in his travels... He looks again to the lycan woman, his respect for a sensible, if still young, mind coming to bear. He nods somberly at her words, showing his approval of her company.
"If you wish to join us in haven, i beleive i represent them in welcoming you. Come, i will take you to a...pupil?...of mine. I don't know how she has fared, but before i encountered you we were engaged in the hunt of an Oni demon. I would like to check up on her condition and return with her to haven...we have a few things to check up on..."

Tokeru smiled at the vampire. " I know what you're thinking. You think i am irresponsible because of my age. I am irresponsible (what is the opposite of because i cant remember, oh right) In spite of it. I have seen and done things that would make you're mind spin. I have witnessed actions of such horror that would make you weak in your body. Do not lecture me about sense. I do what i need to survive. I have survived because i am the best at what i do, and that is kill everything in my path. Take what you want vampire, but do not insult me."
Tokeru let his cloak fall back into place and turned around, his back facing the vampire. His back presented an open target, and was also an insult to the vampire. Taunting him to action, so that Tokeru could "defend" himself.

His ending statement is simple towards the receding man's back, which he was used to seeing. It was the sight he normally saw of someone when they were fleeing...His voice is calm, reserved, and matter-of-fact... "You have seen horrors you beleive give you the right to boast, which twice brands you as a fool. I will not bandy simple words with you. I too know the world of demons and gods. And i have known that world for 873 years. Now, "Destroyer-of-all-in-your-path", you walk away. I do not. And that says all that needs to be spoken of." He turns to the lycan woman, the winged man seemingly of no more concern. He speaks quietly... "And what of the Human? I leave his disposition up to you. Does he wish to join Haven as well?"

Sensing the fragility of the current situation despite the vampire's calm response, Liora hastily nodded towards the vampire. Though the possibility that he was not trustworthy loomed ever-present in the back of her mind, Liora realized that her race-endowed paranoia would get her nowhere. He knew too much of the NYHG, and Liora suspected that he would have attacked by now if he were an enemy. Furthermore, her instincts told her that he was trustworthy, and such instincts had certainly been reliable even whe she was a human. Her gaze shot towards her two acquaintances from earlier, to whom she gave an apologetic shrug.
"Feather, the lad whom you are referring to, wishes to become a Hunter as well. I'm assuming by your reaction that he, too, has not yet visited the Haven. I think he's a worthy addition as well, but he seems more inclined to follow rather than lead." Liora winked at Feather reassuringly after this statement. "I believe this is more due to insecurity rather than an inherent personality trait. However, Feather wished to accompany Tokeru on his little 'mission'. I think the choice should be Feather's and not mine."
Nodding to herself, apparently content with her words, Liora stepped beside the vampire, her heels tapping lightly on the concrete. She inclined her head, a gesture that sufficed as both a greeting and an indication that he should lead the way. Feather would follow should he deign to do so.
"I seem to have forgone the introductions. My name is Liora Thorne, and I am honored to be welcomed to the Haven. I assure you that you won't regret it."
She saw no harm in presenting the three men with her real title, now. If her instincts and observations were of any value (and she knew they were), Liora was among allies now, and that was a thought she welcomed with open arms.

Albert was a little scared. Being left alone with a man whom he thinks hates him for his earlier actions,"I...I'd rather not." His voice was shakey and he could break his feeling of being with Tokeru for the remainder of the mission. You could say, he felt safer by a mile with Llora. He moved closer to her. Even as a 20 year old, his actions were kind of like a child, favoring and being scared of others.

Tokeru smiled. "Take feather also, i need no one on this mission. He glanced over his shoulder to the vampire. Take care vampire. I will see you again, soon." He spat on the ground beside the vampire's feet. His animosity towards the night walkers showing fully.
He gave feather a piece of paper with an address and a name, Siger. On the bottom of it was written. Shadow Stalker Chapterhouse. Leader, Tokeru.
With a bow towards the human and another glance at the vampire, his eyes filled with hate conveyed the entire message. They would fight, and the battle would be soon. Hunters be damned.
He threw back his trench coat and lept into the air, heading for the warehouse.
