Ah yes, the Film Festival. I need to devote some thinking time to that. The genre is not exactly my specialty. I was hoping for a documentary. I was going to do one on the fascinating polypeptide chain SCX-236 I catalogued while dealing with your girlfriend's issue.
Ah well. At least this will be a chance to talk to Lana again. There haven't been many other Legionnaires here in the Nexus as of late.

Well, perhaps I'll put my mind towards that tomorrow. I have quite a few projects on my plate right now, actually. Getting this equipment repaired was only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
Do you have any suggestions as to where or when someone should go if they are looking to take a long, undisturbed vacation?

Well...I made a vacation home for my Valentine's date with Snow in the Cyberdome earlier this year. No one bothered us in there.

Hm...that may be worth checking out, especially after I've optimized the Cyberdome's output...
To be perfectly honest, I'm a bit worried about overdoing it lately. I think that I may have had a mental disconnect occur during this 'carnival' thing that happened recently...

That was Harley Quinn's poison! I tried to get you back. First I tried trading panties for you and that didn't work. Then I tried Using a wax figure to distract them and lost almost all my loot in the process. My third plan was to use my new stealth suit to pretend to be Superman. I had this idea that you would break through the mind control if you saw a friend...

I actually have done that in the past...installed some circuitry to regulate emotions and brain functions. When it failed, it failed rather spectacularly...like unkinking a hose that's been holding back a torrent.
The majority of Coluans, you see, are between 8th and 10th level intelligences. They consider an intelligence such as my own to be an aberration...a freak occurrence that inevitably leads to psychotic breakdown or worse. I've spent the better part of all of my life...lives?...trying to disprove that theorum.

The ring did not so much 'screw' with me as it did....misconstrue a part of my psyche. And I suppose that Harley's poison gave access to that same point in there.
