Ame nodded.
"for a few days, we were a little worried because he just wasn't himself. He was too happy, it was faked but i'm glad you and yours are getting through your problems" he said happily, raising Calla#s hand and kissing the back of it. His gaze flicking over to meet hers breifly before he lowered her hand again.

Raven grinned. "Joe and I have problems that are yet to be unresolved and they have nothing to do with Jay."
Calla snuggled close to him as she listened to the two talk.

"of coarse, the world doesn't revolve around one person" Ame answered with a smile that inside he was straining to give, why was he so uptight?? he had no idea, maybe he just didn't like confrontations very much.

Ame smiled and nodded his head.
"some tea would be nice Raven, some time you should drop by our house, i'm sure Jay would love to serve tea to you and Joe. I also know he and Casumi are planning a little party for her parents" he said with a pleasant smile, Jay had grown to adore Casumi like she really was his neice or even his daughter, so he knew he'd probably open the rarely used reception room.

She nodded. Comming over sounded nice even if it was to see if she and Jay still had a friendship. She walked away for the kitchen to prepare some tea, which also sounded good to her.
When it was done, she carried the tray in to set before them, unsure how Ame even liked his tea.
"It would be nice to stop by...Maybe I can bring Casumi over for that."

"sure, Jay wouldn't mind" Ame answered, picking up a cup of tea and smiling when Raven entered the room again with said tea. Ame looked down at his tea, he didn't mind how much his tea was, aslong as it wasn't too strong.
He sipped at the sweetened hot liquid, blowing at it a little to cool it beforehand. He lowered the cup from his lips and looked pointedly at Raven.
"Jay, has always stayed friends with his past lovers"

She asked, a little surprised as she pushed a cup to Calla who happily accepted it and was adding a little bit of extra honey to it.

"oh it hurt for a while, he just made sure it was only a dull ebb or nearly gone before he contacted them again" Ame answered, sipping his tea again as he watched Calla out of the cornr of his eye. He'd have to have her over at the house one day too.

He nodded as Raven decided that they both could do with some coffee, smiling about the fact that she thought he made good coffee.
It took him somewhat longer than her to get his act together though, for starters, he liked the peaceful feeling that was still on the bed. That was before he spent more time than any girl trying to adjust Joey's clothing and make them look suprisingly good on him, making sure to cover Arioch's mark.
Finally, he made his way down to the kitchen, slowing down as he heard Raven's familiar voice and some other guy's voice, one who was definatly not Jay by the way Raven and the man talked.
He gave them a little more time before showing up in the doorframe of the kitchen, it making a convenient leaning post.

Raven nodded. "It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't contact me for a while."
She blinked, feeling someone watch them and she smiled to joe as she looked towards the kitchen. She felt that funny little flip of the heart. Unlike most women she didn't have the look of love in her eyes.
"You finally decided to join us. Care for some tea instead of coffee?"
Calla blinked and waved to Joe as he stood in the doorway. She supressed a giggle before she blushed a little and concentrated on her tea as she sipped it.

Ame nodded, he wasn't sure when Jay would get back into the swing of things again as he had never been around the Butterfly when he was in a mood. Jay was the type to keep his feelings close to his chest, so half the time no one knew what he was thinking or feeling.
"hello" was his greeting as he saw Joe, sipping his tea a little as his blue eyes studied the other male. He was happy he could make Raven happy.

I lost half my post when I re-booted this morning sad
He smiled at Raven and nodded as he entered the kitchen.
"Tea sounds good"
He confirmed, before winking at Calla and extending a hand to the man he hadn't met before.
"I'm Joe, I take it you already know about me.."
He hadn't heard much of the conversation before he had made his presence noticed, it was more him picking up the general mood of the room that had lead him to conclude that whoever this was, knew Raven and knew the situation Joe had inadvertently put her in.

Ame shook his hand with a smile.
"I'm Ameeron and yes, I live in the same house as Jay and i'm Calla's partner" he confirmed in a level tone, somehow he didn't get the feeling this sort of person would be someone who Raven would generally go with. He was on a whole new track from Jay, he had pegged people like Jay as her type.
"it's nice to meet you Joe" he continued, letting the others hand go and letting it fall to his side. If he was honest, his hackles had raised.

Raven so far seemed particular with who Joe slept with in her house. She fixed a cup for Joe and gave it to him. Wether she was truly happy or ever will be was a question she wasn't going to solve anytime soon...
Calla gently touched Ame's shoulder and teased a few strands of his hair, not in any show, just to do something.
Raven was alerted to the mild tension in the room but she simply smiled. "Maybe one day Joe will be able to meet jay..." She said softly in a nuetral tone.
