I thought the ending movie was when in the future John Sheridan goes off to die alone and is picked up by Lorien? The death cloud was used by the Shadows and was defeated in season 4. sweatdrop

Wait. My transition is wrong. I thought the death cloud makes B5 transit into Crusades? Because they are hunting for the Drakh plague cure w/ excalibur...

Not exactly. The Shadows with their Death Cloud and the Vorlons with their planetkillers leave. There were, however allies for the Shadows. It was they who attacked Earth and released the plague. That is how the show got it's spinoff of Crusade. I wish I had seen more of that, though . . . seemed nice.
Espically when that hyperspace jellyfish started to *ahem* get friendly with the Excalibur. blaugh
