"We could always go back to bed..." Terryn gave him a suggestive smile, though it faded quickly. "Oh...right...we need to go to the apothecary as well." Her voice lowered lightly at that part, her eyes dropping to the ground.

"Perhaps we will be overwhelming them a bit..." Terryn nibbled on her fruit, frowning as a few memories of her dreams floated peskily back into her mind. "We could always wait until tomorrow to go to the apothecary."

"We should go today," answered Marcus, much too quickly. He looked sheepish. "That is to say, I believe the earlier the better. Lest anything happen. For your safety and convenience."

Marcus reddened, averting his eyes. "You don't do much to stop me," he retorted, perfectly aware that Terryn was right. "But regardless of the reason...we should go soon. When it is hot, perhaps. The streets are bound to emptier than when it cools."

"I suppose." Terryn didn't feel much like eating anymore, so she handing Marcus back the fruit and stood up. "I think I am going to go draw myself a bath. I have a pain in my back that I need to soak away."

Marcus nodded slowly. He might have apologized, if he had known what he could possibly apologize for. "Yes. That's fine. I suppose I should write a letter to inquire about the house now." He looked up. "Alright with you?"

Later that evening, Marcus looked sideways at Terryn. They were both fully dressed. "Are you all ready?" he asked. "I mean, do you know what you need to ask for?"

"Oh. Right." This language barrier was quickly turning into more than Marcus had bargained for. He scratched his head. "He probably knows a little bit of English. If all else fails, I should think that 'no baby' would suffice."
