That IS what I'm saying, Maggie. You just reached the next level of your ability in The Brink. The ability to pull an item that you have NOT seen before, by creating a mental image of the item. This coin exists somewhere in time, in some place.... And you pulled it from there.... But if you inspect it closely, I'm certain that you will realize that it is NOT something that you had a specific image of before.

Keep the coin, Maggie. Study it, and use it for practice. It won't be missed, for the moment that it came from is frozen in time. Use it to practice and to get better. I know that you'll do marvelously!

((Either I'm not paying attention or I'm RPing elsewhere...gar...I did have a question for Tavin, partly IC, partly OOC, both really, but I forgot, so meh. I remember having suspisions of an answer, but frergh...it'll be one of those 42 things. Need and Earth III to figure out the question...))

Tac blinks in, half dozing in a chair with a contented smile upon his face. He no longer bears the scars of evil upon his face or his heart, cleansed and educated.
((and feh, I was going to RP, but Captain Slackoff is too lazy to baleete it.))
He looks up just quick enough to see he's in the Brink and start to stand as if he had hoped to come to the Brink, but he fades out not even a full second after he realizes where he was.

*Bard fades in. He looks around, and seeing that no one is present, he sighs dejectedly. He goes over to the key holder and checks to see if there are any missing. It doesn't seem so. He wanders down the hall to the library and back. No one. He sits down at a table, sullen as a child denied dessert.*

Me? I truly doubt that I would disappear completely. I hear that your teaching Maggie to read is coming along quite swimmingly. So is my teaching her how to control one of her powers. She's already reached the second tier of her training.

Oh, is that so? Well, I happen to disagree with you on that. I just so happen to know for a fact that you can do things like that. MANY things like that. I tell you, its all a matter of putting your effort into learning how. But of course, I won't force you into it. You have to want to know, in order to learn.
