Hiko found his own throat constricting and fought to resist it, pushing Ferno's hand back.
He felt the daggers pierce his chest, but fought to maintain his grip on Ferno and still deflect the Force Lightining, adjusting his hand slightly as he directed the Energy away from him.
It had been so long since he had fought such a battle.
He wasn't at his full game. He knew it.
But he had to keep it together, even as his lifeblood dripped out of him.
He tapped into the awesome lightside energies of the cave, the webbed life force of every living thing on the planet, and pushed that power into his failing body.
With Telekinesis he drew a chunk of stone from the rock wall to Ferno's left and hurled it at him, hopping the battle of wills was keeping the Sith from moving.

Link sidestepped her attack and sliced the staff in an arc to strike her across the back when she passed by.
"This one knows your form inside and out." He stated simply as he made his attack. "You can not best me."

Ferno did not want to resort to pulling any more out than he had to, but the stone was a straw which had to be pulled. As he continued the chest grip on Hiko, his free hand went to throw pieces of shattered crystal towards the jedi master.
Simultaneously, the first robotic arm shot from his back, and sliced the rock with pinpoint accuracy, splitting it into pieces. Ferno felt close enough to the ground to have his feet touch, as he silently used two more arms to push him closer to the jedi master, cloaking them as best he could to make it look like his own legs were pushing against the strain.

Hiko sensed the oncoming attack and as a desparation measure, cast a force shield to protect him from the shards, breaking his grip on Ferno's neck but maintaining the counter grip to prefent Ferno from crushing his heart.
The shards were reflected, and he stepped back, surpised that Ferno had drawn Closer.
He used the Force to pull another chunk out of the cavern wall and hurled it at Ferno, discretly sliding a lightsaber down his sleave to his hand.

She yelped and tumbled as the staff struck her back.
She rolled and landed back on her feet, spinning to face him again and charged, this time fainting an attach at his head again then slicing around to his right.

Link frowned at the feint and parried the real attack, then hooked his foot to pull hers out from under her.

The Move pulled her weight out from under her and Kar'en fell back, but not before sending a Force push at Link to throw him away from immediate striking range.
She quickly landed on her feet, then lept forward to attack with a slash aimed for his right.

Ferno pushed ever closer, until he could move into a full range where Hiko could not maneuver out of his claws, he dared not reveal his enhancements. He continued to push further, blasting the rock with a show of storm. Several more steps were all he needed to get into arm range, and a few more to draw his sword.

((Um, Nelo? I broke my grip on your neck. Now I'm just keeping you from crushing my heart and hurling chunks of cave at you.))
The young jedi was hurled back by the push, flipping nimbly through the air and landing on his feet with a slight skid as he came back to Coruscant's surface. As she lunged, he snapped the pipe forward at the woman, aiming to strike her in the head.

Kar'en had made a mistake.
She knew it the instant the pipe struck her in the head.
And everything went blank as the stunned sith fell to the ground.

Death, yet the Force.
Hiko smirked as he pulled the daggers out of his own chest and hurled them at Ferno, then ripped more stone from two sepparate directions to hurl it at Ferno.
"You know, its been a long time since Ive had this much fun, Ferno." The Old Jedi said as he gave ground to Ferno's advance.

The sense of unease was building as the woman fell to the ground, but he cast it aside as he continued to focus upon his opponent.
He twirled the staff and leveled it at the woman.
"Now you see the folley of your ways." Link told her calmly. "You could never match me."

The blow rattled Kar'en baddly but she managed to prop herself up to stare down the length of Link's weapon.
She hissed at the jedi.
"Finish me. Or I will not stop until I have killed you."

Link took her suggestion, ran it through his mind, and then glared into her eyes.
"As you wish." He stated simply as he brought the pipe down upon the girl, striking her upon the head with enough force to send her back into the realm of unconciousness.
"Unfortunately I'm not in the killing mood today."
He dropped down and pocketed the woman's lightsaber, drawn to the style of the Hilt, then pressed his hand to the woman's forhead.
He scanned her mind, searching for where she had the memory of this encounter.
His face betraied suprise at learining some of the information that the woman had known, but eventually found what he wanted.
With a gentle nudge, he altered it.
She forgot the entire encounter.
He released his grip on the woman and bowed to her.
"May the Force be with you." He stated as he moved on and back into the street, disapearing from sight.

Ferno said nothing. He found it becoming harder and harder to want revenge against Hiko, since he had long since held respect for the man. But he had changed since last time, now doing little but taunts and throwing obstacles.
He gave a heavy sigh, grabbing his daggers out of mid air and returning them to his belt using the Force. The stones met with two larger crystals uprooting from the ground, nullifying that attack.
Ferno looked at the cieling, contemplating bringing the whole cavern down on the Jedi's head. He wished there was a more garunteed way of ending Hiko's life. At the rate the pair were going, this battle would last all day, and Ferno was still pressed for time.
