With certainty, one of us lazy-assed mods will make a thread... Not sure who, but we're mostly in contact with IM's etc, so whoever's on at the start time will start a thread up.....

Thought this might be of interest to the folks here - Thread in EDShe makes an interesting point, although not necessarily one I totally agree with, be sure to read the first post the whole way through.

I think Cactuar's thread belongs in the "Stupid people" thread.
EDIT: Nope didn't see any good points. Just some issues stemming from being adopted and taking it out bitterly. Oh and if it's selfish someone has to have the kids for those magical adoption people.

If you wade through the inane insults and other stupid s**t and get right down to the topic at hand, I think she has a very good point. Izzy and I were both adopted, and there's a certain social stigmatism that goes with adoption and especially adopting a child that differs from the 'color' of the parents. I've noticed that most people are very quick to think the 'odd child out' was not adopted but rather concieved through cheating. But that's just me.

INcase anyone missed me, I had to take my daughter kera to the er. She has the rotovirus, and became dangeroulsy dehydrated. We stayed over night at the hopsital. Shes doing great now though. All the symptoms have stopped, and shes back to her old self.
hope everyone has been doing ok.
Im a bit bummed i missed the ball, but its really not that big of a priority, actuly i couldnt care less.
My little girl is healthy and happy again, and thats all that matters to me (and also that rian is doing ok aswell).

antonio_baka_guy It's good that your daughter is better.... Don't worry about missing the ball, you'll get the items, no worries. (I'll send you a baloony, that's all I have, but other people will give ya stuff if you ask.) *hugs* thank you so much, thats so sweet of you.
